Came here looking for small sushi plates and didn't want to spend a small fortune having it shipped to me. Boy was I pleased to see their selection and prices. I can't believe I didn't know about this place before. Almost everything is $1.50 but there are some things that are a little bit more but nothing crazy. I love their ceramics, kitchen and food section. Employees were friendly and store was very clean. Will definitely be back to get all my Japanese household items.

Had a blast here. Lots of kitchen items, containers, even knit and crochet items like hooks, needles, and yarn. Disney stuff galore! Fun food and drinks too. Masks are mandatory here but they will sell you one for a quarter if you don't have one. Will be visiting here often. 😊

I love this store! All of the items were cute and reasonably priced. I come to this store often to buy some of my favourite snacks and drinks. The employees are very nice and welcoming.definitely recommend !! 💕

I discovered on TikTok and Drove far to come here. But totally worth the trip. Great variety of things.Everything is the same price unless it’s marked otherwise . Lots of cute pens and you can test them before you buy. I thought that was kinda neat.

This is the cutest little place! Reminds me of Daiso! They have a lot of kawaii cute stuff. I wish they have anime stuff though, they didnt. But tons of office and school supplies, household, kitchen items. Some ramen, japanese food and drinks. Best part of it? $1.50 each for most of them, unless they're marked. Would surely come back some other time. I wish it was close to home.

Enjoy coming here. Hours are 2-7pm. Which is good if you are taking care of things in the afternoon. Or if you live in Mesa. I like their selection of items. They added fishing items. Which is great. Almost everything is $1.50. You can't buy fishing items at other dollar stores. Love their variety of items to help simplify your life. 😉

Weird... Very crammed. Sketchy area, strange people. Claustrophobic and EVERYTHING in boxes. Legit 2 employees on duty. Strange Japanese music playing. Employees were decently nice and helpful. Just a weird experience

If this place could get zero starts that’s exactly what I would have given it. My first experience here I loved it but I came in for a second time and absolutely disgusting I felt racially profiled by the staff member who follows you through out the store. If this is the kind of service you are providing I will not recommend this place to no one.(Mesa location)

I love this store - the original Daiso in Arizona before the franchise finally came in a couple months ago! Even though small they have the selections of items that you might need. They also have luxury keychains and branded merch for such a low pricepoint. They usually have manager special sales for food items which is great.I also know they have to be careful because the store is located in the outskirts of the sketchy part of town, so they might ask for an ID which is totally fine, I usually have it out before they ask :)

Brought my son here to check out all the cool stuff. We had so much fun we could have spent hours looking at everything! The staff was very friendly. We bought a ton of snacks and brought them home to try as a family, it was a blast!

Looks like a cute store however two employees quickly approached us as we entered and asked us to leave because we had a small service dog in our arms (She smells for seizures).I mentioned she is a service dog and they said it did not matter.What a shame.

You’re not protecting anyone. There’s no science behind what you’re doing. We don’t understand the ignorance. We’ll shop elsewhere and suggest others do too.

Staff is super nice, they many things! My wife loves this place. They even had Pokémon masks. They had one left.. but hopefully they have more later! You can ask the staff questions and they are very nice to answer whey and help you.

This place had everything from quarter rolls, to slippers & cute socks, appliances-- fishing, etc. I expected only stationary, and found it to be even better when I found out prices were less than $2 for almost EVERYTHING except food. The place is very big and the cashiers were friendly. There are no returns for the time being and they may ask to see ID-- which is no problem. I got so much stuff for $30. I had to leave because I'd spend all my money! Will be returning and inviting my friends soon!

This is a very unique $1-$5 store. Everything is Japanese in origin. Do not walk in and expect to not be watched. Make sure to read the entry door. More rules at this place then the US Civil Code. If you feel like you're being watched you are. Cameras deluxe and the female owner is like a cop without a donut. But they do have some rather unique stuff. It is very inexpensive. Hey, my wife can spend 40 bucks in minutes in this place.

Update: The last two times I came to the store has been very annoying. From the signs all over the place to enforce masks, to them rudely enforcing you to buy one upon entering the store, to rudely enforcing that you pull your mask up, when it doesn't work and many studies prove that. 🤦‍♀️ The "pandemic" has been long over in Arizona. Your CDC posting is not correct. IT IS FROM 2 YEARS AGO - THINGS HAVE CHANGED. Heard of this place before Daiso opened up but hadn't had the chance to go yet. After the craziness of Daiso's grand opening and everything being out of stock, we went to Cutie after. Tons of selection and actually a Daiso item hidden gem! The employees were super nice and helpful as well. Will return!

This little place surprised me! I saw the store from the outside thinking it was some kind of clothing boutique. I was with my niece & decided to take her on a little date here. She was obsessed with all the treats she found!

Lots to look at, amazing assortment of items in the store. From trinkets to gadgets, crafts and food items. I have to make a trip there with my son as he is a big fan of Ramune' and the whole food isle on one side had a huge selection of drinks. Prices were varied but most items are 1.50$ The staff were friendly and helpful, definitely recommend a stop here.

Really cute store with cute stuff, and I was excited to look around. I was there with my friends and I purchased a few things, but my friend realized they wanted something there that they forgot to get. Second time I was in the store, I was browsing at the pens while my friends were checking out, but when leaving was confronted and accused of stealing a pen. I had already purchased and if I wanted something else I would have grabbed it. Especially if the item was only a dollar. Cashier was very rude. After explaining that I didn't take anything and that I previously purchased, I left and was very humiliated. Cried in the car before I left the parking lot. I understand that they must deal with theft but that was ridiculous and handled poorly.

The place is okay, it is like a smaller Daiso. My issue is that nowhere do they state that you will need your ID to make purchases, even if it is like a small 5 dollar purchase. I do not regularly carry my ID with me when I am doing things like hanging out with friends and they are the ones that drive me around so I found it very weird they needed an ID for a pretty cheap purchase? I would understand if it was an expensive and/or luxury purchase but for 2 to 3 dollar items like... what..? The girl at the checkout was very rude about it as well, not understanding that not everyone always carries their ID (much less even have one, because what if a kid came to the store with their parents card as they were given permission, how would the child with no ID show an ID??) nor the fact that they did NOT state anywhere you needed to show ID to make any card purchases. No sign before you enter the store, and no sign inside that told me i needed to show an ID for card purchases. Also no other store in Arizona ever requires an ID for regular purchases so i dont understand this (i havent seen a single store in america that asks for ID for dollar store purchases like what this store has). My very first experience was bad and I probably won't go again because it is very very weird you need to show ID and they state nowhere that you will need to show it. If the cashier was nicer it would have been fine but she acted very annoyed at me for not having my ID even though it is not common for everyone to carry around their ID much less people who don't have IDs yet.
