I’m a long time Starbucks customer but don’t always get the Starbucks experience at Safeway. Definitely my experience today. Was served by a young man in his twenties. Ordered an americano with a splenda and half and half. Noticed on my receipt that I was charged 70c for dairy. Told the employee that it was ridiculous to charge me for a pour of half and half. He was immediately defensive and told me he doesn’t make the rules. I said that was crazy and I wasn’t going to buy coffee there again. He tossed my Five back and said he wasn’t going to serve me. This would never happen at a regular Starbucks. This person would not last five minutes there.

It's Starbucks. It's like every other Starbucks. It smells amazing, they want you to buy everything, and it's all expensive. They attack their employees if they try to unionize or act unhappy about anything. Their coffee is good, their food is heinously overpriced microwave jimmy Dean, and their corporate practices are rotten. Doesn't get any more American than Starbucks.

Since Christina left customer service has been extremely poor. Customers are not greeted. It no longer feels like Customers are welcomed. They haven't been getting any orders correct. I spend 100s of dollars at this establishment and 95% of the time it's cash. When there is an issue and I try to talk to them they don't acknowledge me unless I yell. I shouldn't have to yell to fix an issue. I should be heard simply by speaking. None of the 3 girls seemed to even be trained just thrown in. They don't even know there cup sizes. If this isn't fixed immediately I'll start going to a completely different coffee shop. Alot of work needs done to make it the way it was. I never thought I would feel so upset going to that Starbucks.

Hi there! Ex employee here at this Starbucks! Do not work here, save your sanity. Believe me, during the duration I worked at this location, I was treated very poorly. For example, over the 8 weeks I was working here, I was over scheduled, over worked, and was left to close by myself multiple times. I was scheduled anywhere from 25-37 hours a week while being a full time student (mind you I made it clear I was still in school). Additionally, I was threatened multiple times for a write up over small issues that the openers could easily resolve. Although I was constantly threatened for write-ups over small things, my co-worker, Trinity, was treated with favoritism. She often ate in the kitchen, sat on the counters, took breaks to chat outside of the kiosk while I ran the shop, and wasn’t in dress code. To add on to an issue I saw with her was going from register to drink making without washing her hands. I have heard reports from other employees in Safeway saying she often would use whole milk or 2% milk in lactose intolerant peoples drinks.To add on to the fact, I was also called in WAY more than I should’ve been. I often covered others shifts at least once a week and was always relied on to be there, I was treated as if I didn’t have a life outside of work. I once worked a 10 hour shift too due to covering a members shift. They refused to get more workers despite being understaffed.And finally, the aftermath. I quit because I was simply “not allowed” to take time off to pass this school year, building on the fact that this store could care less about your well being and out of work life. Even to this day, even over a month after I quit, even remotely going in the store is an uncomfortable experience. Ex co workers look at you differently and treat you differently than a normal customer. Friendly convo while you check out? Absolutely not. Kind service around the store? Forget about that.Please stop supporting this kind of work environment.

We ordered 4 drinks. 3 took 10min. The last which was the same type of drink as 2 of the other took 30min to be made. 5 customers after us received their drinks before our 1. When I asked about the drink (Carmalita) said yes its coming but proceeded to make 5 other drinks b4 ours. Then once it was made had it sitting behind counter while she was making more drinks. We had to ask if we could have the drink. We definitely felt this was on purpose and will not be going back to this location. Worst customer service I have ever had at a Starbucks!

The batista Rhianna was very rude. And not just to me, to every customer. She stood there talking to a Safeway employee. Casually talking not work talking. Then had an attitude taking my order. No personality. If you work in customer service, you should be respectful & act like it. If , you can avoid going here, I would advise.

I didn't visit Starbucks. I went shopping at Safeway, and they are located within the grocery store.I haven't chosen Starbucks for over a dozen years. They refused to ship coffee to my deployed Marine son. So, I chose not to spend my hard earned money on their overpriced coffee and other products.

I went to this Starbucks and the ladies are super rude and the drinks are not made right. I ordered an iced coffee and it was all cream. The ladies who work there act like they could care less if the customer is happy. They sit around and chit chat and I spent $20 on coffee that was not even close to Starbucks expectations! Starbucks in Pinetop Safeway needs to step it up

Ordered here many and everytime those 2 little white girls (cashiers) are racists especially to the Apaches coming from a few miles down on the Rez. Ordered an iced coffee today and they gave me a frappuccino. They refused to give me a refund btw I dont even drink frappuccinos so yuck. Personally would NOT reccomend

The last 5 times I've gone in probably the last 2 years, my coffee was made incorrectly. Two of those times I didn't even get coffee in my cup! Once this latest fiasco is taken care of, never again. I'm so sorry to post this but feel it needs to be out there....I'll miss you Starbucks coffee.

I’m visiting the White Mountains AZ. I went to Starbucks in the Safeway at Pinetop-Lakeside to get my coffee to start my morning. Trinity was rude and made me feel uncomfortable when I asked if she could go up a cup size while ordering my coffee. When I received my coffee it wasn’t full all the way and tasted like milk with syrup and no shots. I ordered a large iced white chocolate mocha

I'm giving three stars for the quality of coffee at Starbucks. What was once a barista is now a minimum wage employee. What was once Home roasted in the husk coffee beans are now mass produced in factories. And what was once the aroma of crashed ground coffee beans and steam and heat and sweetener is now syrup in a bottle. Three stars only goes for the product not for the people that work there. I appreciate them very much I have my own machine at home now and I'm reviving The once admired art of barista inspired coffee creations.

My GF was not happy at all with the quality of her drink and they didn't even get it right. Guess it's different standards for Starbucks in a Fry's . Won't make that mistake again for that price.
