food was good, expected it to be more like traditional bbq rather than chain but still good. Portions a little small, but sides were good. The drinks were a bit expensive, and i expected the sweet tea or lemonade to be made in house like a traditional bbq spot, but was just Lipton/Minute Maid - not sure why that's $3+. Coupon from the website made the price fairly reasonable, otherwise would have been disappointed in value for dollar. BBQ sauce in a sealed retail cup had no heart into it which is unfortunate.

App crashes when I place an online order and appearantly doesn't attach my name even though it was paid for with my bank account and when I tell the woman behind the counter I placed an order and it cost me $80 something USD she looks at me like a deer in headlights . You are more than 50 years old. If this job is too complicating you need a better retirement tactic.

Typically the brisket is fresh and juicy. Today at 11:30 the brisket was dried out. Young lady cutting the meat doesn’t know the difference between the point and the flat on a brisket.

I had this restaurant today while I was in Pine top for my job… The barbecue and the barbecue sauce was delicious and the employees were very friendly… Quite the contrast to the dickies in Queen Creek Arizona, which had cold food and rude employees. Highly recommend the next time I’m in town I’m definitely gonna stop here, my only complaint would be the pricing… it was over $22 for the brisket plate and a drink!!

Cliff and I went to Dickies Barbecue Pit (in Pinetop-Lakeside)for the 1st time last night for dinner and it was delicious! The service was amazing as we were greeted and helped by Kyle. The pricing was amazing for the serious amount of meat and food we got. Cliff got a brisket plate with two sides and a roll. I got a half rack of ribs with one side and a roll and drink. It was like Denny's pricing for steakhouse food (much better food!!). And they do catering!! There was also a complimentary vanilla ice cream cone for both of us afterwards. The establishment was beautifully set up and has a party room you can rent for cheap and close your party off for privacy!! We will definitely be going back and supporting them. They are only open til 8p because this mountain truly does roll up about then every night. Just not enough people after that time to make it worth staying open. Maybe if we flood them with business all year that will change. Shop local!!

Love this place! Great BBQ and friendly atmosphere. Little on the pricey side, but for really good food I don't mind. Love that you get to take the cup home with you. They've got televisions so you can eat and watch a game or whatever else they got on.

Staff is rude. Stood in line for a good while before even being acknowledged. I was ready to walk out when he finally acknowledged me and told me to wait just a minute. I really should have just left. Food is expensive (and not worth it). Chick kept her greasy gloves on while checking the guy out in front of me and he had to wipe the grease off of his card before he could put it back in his wallet. Then she raced him to the fountain drinks and got right in front of him to pour her own drink. I will not be back to this location.

Great food. The guys were a little overwhelmed when we showed up with 8 people and 3 other large parties showed up but they still caught up and got everyone what they ordered. Thanks again for not getting mad at my daughter for taking a cookie and just asking us to pay not making a big scene. I really do appreciate it. Great customer service and very clean place. Handicap accessible also.

We have gone into this dickies pretty often since we heard about it and we have always had a fantastic meal. We love the owners too, they are so welcoming and friendly- just what business owners should be up here on the mountain! Their staff is always polite and friendly and we get our food so quickly. We are so glad you brought this restaurant up here because now we can enjoy good food and good company all while supporting a local business! Go support them! You’ll also be supporting a military vet too who supported your country for 20 +years- can’t get much better than that :)

I tried to order delivery dinner for my sons birthday, went through the whole order process which started with my address, when I was done ordering and tried to place the order, I was told I was outside the delivery area (I live 5 miles away) but since my son wanted BBQ, my wife decided to go pick it up. Had to start the order from scratch since changing from delivery to pick up wasn't allowed. My wife arrived 20 minutes after the promised pick up time and was told they were still getting the order ready, my wife noticed nobody was sitting inside and nobody else was waiting for food. Food was less then impressive, just blah… sad for $80 dinner for 3. But then the real kicker was the very next day, they decided they wanted more money and charged $5 for nothing... that was the final straw and we will NEVER eat there again. Not worth it.

HORRIBLE. We ordered burnt ends and they were soooo tough they were like earring jerky. They were inedible. We have had this meal at dickeys in phx and it was really good, the meat was tender good. They need to learn how to cook this if it’s going to be on thier menu. The kids got chicken nuggets. These are kids that will eat anything and they would not eat these frozen Dino nuggets that were over cooked and hard. We ordered the pecan pie and it cost almost 5 dollars apiece and it was bite sized. We all looked at each other like this was a joke. This meal cost 120 dollars for 6 people which included 3 kids and we would have gotten a better meal for 40 bucks at McDonald’s. I went through door dash so it actually costed additional 35 for service charge and tip. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner and she directed me back to door dash. She said I’d help you but I don’t know how. All she was worried about was getting a bad review. What a bad experience. Will NEVER go to this very expensive for the caliber of food restaurant again. Had to refeed the kids PBJs. Rip off.
