Nice and clean grocery store. Not a super organized spot for grocery carts, but they were clean. Produce was fresh, all other groceries were well stocked. Large selection of Alcohol and mixers to go with them. Friendly staff and always nice to be in a state where plastic grocery bags are free and available.

Very clean and beautiful store. Most employees are very nice and helpful. The parking lot is small tho and the sidewalks are narrow. We love the deals.

Very very clean store! Beautiful flowers! The advertised prices on some of the items I couldn't find in the app, but the Manager was very nice and adjusted the prices accordingly.

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful staff on cashier when we said we didn’t have a bashas card (as I didn’t have a phone on me) he said he couldn’t help us so we walked away from $100 purchase. He seemed like he was stoned.

Love Bashas although this store is very small and is not stocked well. Most times going there sale items never came in or they have quickly run out.

I love this store and the wonderful, friendly staff. Even on Thanksgiving they had a great assortment of items that I needed, and everyone was super helpful. I'll be back!

It is a clean and lovely store and the closest to us. I WISH there were more organic and small producer options. They are pretty understaffed but most of the staff are kind and welcoming. I think they could do much better in this area by noticing who their clientele is and having healthier choices, but what do I know...

A nice Bashas. Always clean and friendly. Not sure if they still do Tajin Wings anymore, but if they do, try them!!

Honestly, I don't know who posted these reviews. Maybe family members. This store is like a high priced seven eleven. Prices are most often crazy high, selection is rather poor, service is even more poor. Staffing is terrible. At the deli counter I was told to hurry up because he was closing soon. That was before 4 pm and the sign said closing at 4:30pm. A pint of whipping cream, $8.29. If I could have gotten everything I needed at the store, I still would have driven farther to not be ripped off. Locals are being terribly taken advantage of. Unbelievable. If you are new to the area, you are better to drive to Cave Creek for WAY better selection, service and price.

I was shocked at the poor customer service we experienced today at Basha's. This store used to be top notch and I always enjoyed shopping there. We arrived about 530pm on a Saturday to the checkout line with about 30 items. Only 2 lanes were open, less than 15 items and one other regular lane. The clerk at the regular lane was trying to checkout someone who paid cash and discovered that her cash draw was gone. She called the manager 4 times with no response. We asked if we should just go to the 15 or less line and response was "well, you have more than 15 items, so probably not. Seriously??? Then she cut down her coworker by saying that she can't handle more than 15 items, so not a good idea. I asked her if she could cancel the cash order and check us out with credit card and then rerun the cash order. She said no. Wow. We were about to walk out when the manager appeared from outside the store with a scowl on her face. She even scowled at us, as if she were annoyed at being bothered on her break. Really nasty look on her face. It took her another almost 10 minutes to get the cash drawer and return. I was in true disbelief. I work in an organization where customer service is #1 priority and if customers are not happy, they leave. This type of behavior by the clerk and the manager is very disappointing. This Basha's won't make it long in this area with this type of customer service. We will not be shopping there anymore.

For the people who make pizza. If the pizza is sitting there for hours don’t sell it to a customer. They might break a tooth and then what lol. Do the right thing.

If you’re looking for a local grocery store with great customer service look elsewhere. I drove over 20 miles to get a filet roast that was advertised on sale. They were out but told me they were expecting a delivery the next day. I asked if I could reserve one and come back tomorrow and get it. The manager of the meat department chuckled as if that was an absurd ask and said no. He recommended me look elsewhere, or call another Basha’s location. Not the customer service I remember from Basha’s.

I enjoy going to Basha's it is small and not very crowded. They have the best chicken salad ever! I can usually find whatever I want. The produce is always so neatly stacked and everything is clean. The atmosphere is very casual but uptown.

Best donuts anywhere! Made from scratch right there; they even look more appealing than other places. Great quality produce and meats, too! The more I go here the better I like this store. The only drawback is that sometimes they don't have what you're looking for, but they do an excellent job with the space they have. Bigger is not always better!

I live in the area, and as well as the Fry’s, I shop here. It is a lot cleaner and nicer than most stores, the chain itself is pretty nice. The only complaints I have are the slow service for the prepared food, which is occasionally worth the wait, and the prices. They ain’t terrible, but not great. Also, visitors should know that Carefree has a high sales tax, like 9% or something.

Spiffy little market. Well, maybe not so little but not a supermarket. It serves a community that is almost isolated and so they try to stock everything you might need. And they do a good job! Stuffed with items, some you didn't know about but now can't live without. Prices are higher than a Safeway, that's the cost of serving a remote community. Parking is good. But now let's talk about the bakery! That alone is a destination. Plan a day in the gym to counter the effects of what you will eat there. And nearby in the store is a Starbucks outlet to help you with your baked goods. This place serves the locals and wouldn't be a destination for someone another town, but if you find yourself heading up to Carefree do drop in and poke around.

I love this store, the staff, the location and the incredible fresh donuts. But, I was there this morning as I am every Saturday morning to pick up donuts. Masks are now recommended and not mandated. I get it. But, I don’t agree that “faith overt fear” customers should be able to not wear a mask and then pick out donuts (while talking on the phone) in a fresh, open shelf. Same with the produce department. They have every right to pick up packaged, canned and wrapped products. But, not fresh products. Change your policy, please.

Great local store! Try it out! Join their site for great buys! Very competitive with Safeway and Fry's! And, that's great! Super buys!Getting competitive. Weekly good buys! Just needs some self check kiosks because the lines can become insane! Friendly associates, too!A great local store where people know your name!

This is a great local supermarket. They have a wide selection of of fresh produce at fair prices. It's a smaller scale store but they offer plenty of organic and gluten free options. The deli is great and have a lot of different varieties of salads. I recommend this store for quick shopping visits or your weekly stock up.

When we first come to the area 10 or so years ago this Bashas' was dated and not very inviting. This all changed about 3 years ago when they remolded the store and upped the quality of the items in there. It is now a first class experience and a pleasure to come in.The staff is amazing and very helpful.you can get Sushi, Starbucks, a nice selection of alcohol, and all the standard grocery items. If you live in the area or visiting, this is a great store to get your supplies from.Keep in mind that Carefree is a go to bed early kind of town, so if you want hot items better do your shopping before 19:00 :)
