They've got everything you could need for pets and a decent selection for livestock supplies too. Prices are comparable to the retail chains and cheaper in some cases. They also sell live animals like small mammals, reptiles, and fish.

Good store, but sometimes there are issues with lack of goods, such as many empty spots for both dog and cat foods that we frequently purchase. Staff was friendly and we like the points system.

I have always found friendly and helpful employees when I visit. I did buy some live aquarium plants from them, and soon after I had a large snail infestation in my tank at home. They obviously couldn't do anything about it for me but they were sincerely apologetic. I'm not sure if they have taken care of the snail infestation in their plant-tanks but I'll still come to them for anything else pet related. Amazing employees, good prices and great points system for saving cash

A small pet store, I wouldn't recommend buying dog food here (ours is $18 more expensive here than at Petco). However, it really feels more like a specialty shop anyway.They have some amazing goldfish, which I'm just not used to seeing in such good health and color. I feel like you can tell a lot about a pet store by how they care for and house their goldfish. These guys keep theirs in a large, beautiful, planted aquarium.They also have loads of supplies for weirder hobbies, for you terrarium- and paludarium-creators. Springtails, pill bugs, centipedes, beetles, etc. They also have a small variety of reptiles, geckos, snakes, and spiders.The small mammal selection is less impressive, but it's clearly a reptile store anyway so they have the obligatory things like the occasional rabbit and several guinea pigs. They do have some nice toys and supplies for just about anything you might have, including poultry.Worth a stop every time I make it to town, I'm already trying out my first terrarium to see if I can nail down conditions for some frogs. They have all the cool stuff to create your own worlds, so why wouldn't you?Staff is nice, but they all have their specialties. Ask for the lady in charge of culturing their springtails if you need a knowledgeable source to start you out right.

Has been a wonderful store to shop for your pets. We have been coming here for over a decade it’s a wonderful store. The staff were so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We have bought animals here sold animals to the store and both experiences have gone wonderful. We have worked with adoption and foster agency’s so we have volunteered our time to help rehome animals at the pet zoo many times.

This has become our family's go to pet store. Unfortunately they don't carry our animal food there (Iams/Purina) but we shop there for everything else. Some stuff is a little pricey but they have a good selection and plenty of animals and fish. The customer service has always been great and I like the fact that all the animals and fish look well taken care of. Clean tanks and enclosures means a lot. Store is clean and organized too. 👍

Update- 1Feb24- Look for somewhere else to shop.*** I was told dog cable runs are just expensive, $90.29 in store, same brand new item on amazon for delivery $20.79, a 30#bag of dog food used to be $57.99, it kept going up to $78.99, and instead of breaking $80, they changed it to a 26# bag and dropped the price to $70.59***Staff and manager were rude and unhelpful.They REFUSED to honor the NutriSource Frequent Buyer Program. They didn't actually know how the program works, even with written instructions on the envelope, they disregarded them.Would have given 1 star, but they get two, ONLY because they were stocked on pet foods.Save yourself the trouble, Petzoo in Alaska is ripping you off right now.

They have recently litterally almost doubled thier prices for certain things in the last 6 months to a year.Feeder Rats used to be about $12 now- $20Dog supplements that used to be $50 are now over $100.I can literally buy it online for 42 bucks. So I'll continue doing so.Unless your cuaght in a bind save yourself a lot of money by not shopping here. They are massive price inflators and taking advantage of people. They often have what you need but you are gonna pay a hearty premium .

A great place to get dog and cat toys for any size. The only thing i would say i didn’t like about the place is that they didn’t have any purina one pro plan for my cat and dog. I really liked the fact that they had glow fish their that weren’t injected with dyes or color in order to glow and that they were pure breed. The costumer service their was amazing and the cashier was super fun to talk to.

Hard to rate something less than 5 stars when it fulfills all of its core functions properly. They have a great selection for many of your home pets when it comes to food. Very clean, and your smeller won't hate you for going in. They do get in a wide variety of pets it seems, so check in often. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff extremely friendly. I will continue to shop here for my pet needs.

It's been some time thst I've visited the critters and fish here. Always calming to hang out with the fish.I bet you can find what ever it is you need for your critter babies here.Staff have always been nice and knowledgeable. I just learned they mow have bread fish that glow in a black light and are not injected with dyes. How cool.
