Our first stop in town and well worth it. The bartender was very knowledgeable. Was hard to choose which drinks as there is a SOA two drink limit. They use local ingredients which makes them awesome to try. Definitely will be a stop next time we are in town (during the summer as closed winters)

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's about a 15-20 min walk from the cruise terminal, and further in town away from the main shops. They distill Gin and Vodka and make excellent drinks, and they incorporate locally grown ingredients. Our bartender was very friendly and had a lot of good insight not just in the drinks but the area as well. We were the only people there during our visit - I hope others venture out and visit this place because it's worth the trip.

This location, although not super close to the main strip of tourist shops (granted, it is still only a 10-15 minute walk from the cruise ship docks), is a must-do location for anyone who enjoys cocktails or distilled spirits. My understanding is that this is a small family operation. I first had the opportunity to visit in June of 2022 and we had a couple of cocktails each in the tasting room. We were served by the mother of the distiller as I understand it. The cocktails were high quality and one featuring local plants/botanicals including fireweed and spruce tips. There is the opportunity to purchase some merchandise or spirits (gin or vodka). I ended up purchasing a 750 mL bottle of gin to take home. I am not a huge gin drinker, but in the tasting room the gin seemed quite smooth. When back home a few friends and I tried several gins against this one (a couple of mass-produced ones as well as local ones from the Midwest) and this gin was on the better spectrum of our tasting session. I was originally skeptical about glacial runoff water as being a factor that would contribute to the flavor, but I can attest to the fact that there is something special about this gin. Compared to other gins there is a bit more of a “mineral” flavor as I am going to call it. So, I am now a believer that glacial water may be a contributing factor here.Fast forward and it is now June of 2023 and by chance I am back to Skagway for Alaskan cruise part 2. I ended up purchasing another 750 mL bottle of gin as well as a 750 mL bottle of vodka this time since I am a believer the water here contributes to the good flavor of distilled spirits.

When travelling to Alaska on a cruise ship it is super important to find the hidden secrets. That is not always easy in a tiny town like Skagway but now you have another from me in Skagway Spirits. They are creating their own gin and vodka and claim the best part of their product is their super clean crisp water that truly does add an incredible something to the final product. Walked into this small, quante, off the beaten path spot from the crusie ship. Wow. I ordered the Moscow Mule and Rhubarb Collins. Great drinks! My dad and I spoke with the owner for some time. He was friendly and showed us around his operation. If you want to get away from the crusie crowd, come here and grab a drink. And always, grab a bottle to go.

Wonderful small business with great spirits and amazing craft cocktails. We stopped in here after hiking to the cemetery and Lower Reid Falls in Skagway. We were warmly greeted and offered samples of their gin and vodka. The owner explained the process of making the syrups used in the cocktails, which included rhubarb and fireweed. We had 2 cocktails each and every drink was amazing. At only $8 each they are an incredible bargain for a craft cocktail. This place really is a hidden gem. Well worth a visit!

One of the best, most authentic experiences you can do in town. Loved by locals and visitors both… the distillery bar is in a great space with lots of Alaskan art and vintage local treasures, which creates a great atmosphere. Excellent gin, and really great cocktails too.Hot tip: try the Rhubarb collins made from local rhubarb.

I had the spruce tip gin & tonic and it was a delicious post-dinner cocktail. I'm not sure if it's the spruce tips or their house-made gin, but it was one of the best gin & tonics I've had in a while. I enjoyed my drink so much that I bought a bottle of their gin to take home with me.

Great little distillery not too far from the "beaten path" with staff willing to make drinks that cater to your preferences and tastes. They also had a fun menu with some great cocktail options. Also fun to know, but they make their own bitters for their drinks.

I can’t say enough about how great this place is. The drinks were incredible (I personally loved the Spruce Tonic) and the service was indescribable. The owner took the time to explain the drinks origin, the places she sources her ingredients, and even gracious enough to share the raw ingredients! I can’t endorse this place enough!

This place is great! Yummy drinks, give you a good buzz. The sweet lady gave us a complimentary taste of the lemon chello. And it was awesome. She said she only brings it out on special occasions. Definitely recommend this place!

This place was awesome and should be on everyone’s list if you’re going to Skagway. The workers there were super helpful and really proud of their product. It was a cool place to hang out and try their amazing drinks that went down super smooth. The drinks are reasonably price and we wished we had more time here.

I'm so glad I talked my husband into walking back to this distillery from the main downtown area. The drink I tried was so good. I wish we had more time to sit and try more of the drinks, but we were in a rush. I'd return again.

Absolutely delicious spirits and cocktails in a cute, comfortable place. Great customer service too - we were even offered a ride to port by the Manager/Owner when we were worried that the shuttle wouldn't make it back in time!We tried about six drinks and all of them were delicious. My group agreed that it was the best bloody mary that we've ever had!They do a great job incorporating the local flora into their spirits. Definitely a worthy stop!

The spirits they are distilling here are too notch! We are big beer and spirits fans, so when our ship docked in Skagway, we decided to walk a little off the beaten path to find this place. It's just off the main drag, but sooooo worth finding! We were able to try some mixed drinks that were delicious! The young guy who owns the distillery is dedicated to the field and you can tell by the spirits that are produced here. Thank you for a great time in skagway!
