What an awesome experience!! We had a great time. Our captain was fantastic, and so was our Natuarlist guide. We saw many Bald Eagles , mountain goats, as well as a Harbor Seal who even waved at us 😄. We felt safe the entire time while still getting an "adrenaline" rush from the boat ride. We were also lucky enough to fashion the very stylish safety gear ;)Thanks Ocean Raft Alaska and Captain Bevan and Naturalist Shane!

An absolute MUST if you are in Skagway. My family and I booked this excursion and it was our favorite by far.It is exhilarating to go so fast and stop on the flip of a dime! The tour guides made it so fun, I can’t remember her name but she was blonde and not local. She had so much information to share, you could tell she loved and had much respect for the land.I cannot tell you how many bald eagles we spotted or seals popping their heads above the water. The waterfalls were spectacular and just the views surrounding you, with the mountains and dense foliage immerse you into an entirely different world.

Wow, wow, wow! This was an amazing adventure and we loved every minute of it. We did this excursion out of Skagway while we were there for our cruise.To see the shoreline, so many eagles, lots of harbor seals and so many waterfalls. If you want an up close view of everything beautiful along the fjord into Skagway, do this tour.10/10 recommend.They provide you with the life preservers suit, a balaclava to keep your head and face warm, goggles and gloves so you have everything you need to go on the zodiac boat.Thanks to Shed for the facts and pointers about the area!

A wonderful and beautiful excursion. It was so much fun as well as a great chance to see wildlife. The staff is extremely friendly and organized. Highly recommend!! We were lucky enough to see bald eagles, sea lions, and a whale!

A ton of fun. The exposure suits were dorky and fun and very warm. They had all the gear for you. Boat was fast and we covered a lot of the inlet in a short amount of time. Alyssa and Bevin were great.

This tour was the highlight of my cruise! I had originally booked a raft excursion in Sitka, our first port, but it was cancelled at the last minute. I found this excursion as an alternative (virtually the same experience except in Skagway) and couldn't have been happier with the switch! My tour was on 6/5/23.I was doing the excursion solo (rest of the fam declined to join) so was a bit anxious about that and fitting in the exposure suit (being short and significantly round). Ended up having nothing to worry about - the crew were so friendly to interact with, especially our naturalist Rachel, and the exposure suit fit fine and kept me super warm (I got a tall suit since that was the bigger option but was able to scrunch up and tie the legs with the assistance of a crew member).The experience itself was exhilarating! I sat in the front row for most of it and then switched to the second row halfway through. Definitely sit in the front for awesome views and a thrilling ride, complete with the captain doing donuts. We saw seals, eagles, glacier falls, and even a whale! Plenty of time was devoted to stopping to view the wildlife, take pics, and learn about the animals we encountered.If you are in Skagway, do this excursion. You won't regret it!

Extremely well organized! Loads of fun. Had a great time. We booked directly on line as this excursion didn't show up on our ship's list until one week before sailing. I am glad we did because it was sold out. Our tour was moved to 730am and I was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call confirming the change. Our tour was magnificent! Guides were very informative. We zoomed along the water at top speed, did donuts in the water saw lots of bald eagles , a few waterfalls and harbor seals. The navy seal watersuits were nice and warm and comfortable. We were offered gloves and hats as well. This was a fantastic tour. Don't miss it. We were picked up at 7am and brought back at 9am. Our ship was in port for 10 more hours so we had plenty of time to do another excursion.Loved the staff. Super friendly and did I mention VERY well organized?

This was one of our favorite excursions. Fun, full of adventure and scenery. Jen and Alyssa were a great team as our captain and naturalist. We were provided a great ride with lots of information. The suits were warm, and fun to wear. Highly recommend.

Had the best time with Captains Jen and Alyssa. Jen is very skilled, little crazy, and fun. Gave use quite ride, donuts and full speed ahead towards the shoreline. Alyssa did a fantastic job educating us on all animals and birds we encountered as well as glaciers and the surrounding area. Both had wonderful personality's.

Excellent tour! The pilot was great, we had a thrilling and informative ride. The naturalist was very knowledgeable and kept the facts interesting. This was my favorite excursion in Alaska.

Alyssa, is the BEST naturalist and Captain Christian did a great job! We had the best time visiting newborn seal pups, seeing crazy awesome waterfalls, spotting eagles feeding and just doing donuts in the power raft. We were on a Crystal Cruise ship which did not advertise this excursion but they should have. We are in our early 60's and LOVED it. The gear (full body exposure suit that double as full body life jackets) plus googles and knit caps kept us warm and toasty. You really cannot get this up close to nature any other way. Do it, do it, do it.

Where to begin.... it was AMAZING! Right from the get go their fun attitude and energy put everyone at ease and smiles on our faces. The boat ride was incredible. Great Captain, crew and naturalist. I've been in Skagway eight summers and wished I had taken this tour way sooner. A plethora of waterfalls, jaw dropping views and it is unbearably safe to say that everyone had a good time! Top notch tour, guides, and experience.

Visited on 21 May, 2022Hi captains Jen and Alyssa, you two made our stop in Skagway a total success. Between Capt. Jen piloting and doing donuts and Capt. Alyssa providing top notch wildlife and nature info, this trip was a winner and well worth every penny.My vertically challenged wife was especially impressed with the assistance provided in helping her in and out of the raft without making her feel embarrassed.Ashley (sp?), you have built a great team and make it easy for us to support a local business.

Fun and exciting day on the waters of Alaska! Different trip and did not disappoint! Loved the wild ride and bouncing over the waves!
