Went out of their way to look for gluten-free bread for me. Employees who care. The store is a bit dim and moldy and sometimes sparse as befitting Seward.

Great selection and well-stocked throughout the entirety of the grocery store. The checkout lines are not too long either. There is also a Starbucks inside which is very nice and convenient. This is the biggest grocery store in Seward, so that is something significant to be noted as well.

Everything you would expect from a Safeway. They parking lot is full of holes and issues and is in need of desperate repair. The store is aged but kept fairly clean. The prices, though, are absolutely out of control. They are on a major highway and have easy access to other large towns and ports.

I am from the lower 48 and decided to elope in Seward. Ordering a wedding cake without tasting or having any kind of local reference was a little nerve racking.We ordered a small cake and cupcakes for our elopement party from Safeway. The customer service was spot on - they made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted! Everything tasted delicious and looked great as well! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of cake & frosting. Our guests had good things to say about the dessert too!

They had great prices and a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. There's also a sandwich shop in the back that has fried chicken macaroni and a bakery. Let's not forget the Starbucks for your caffeine fix was also on the back of the store

I was there in June 2023 and stopped by this grocery store to fill up our Airbnb pantry. The store is small but well stocked and coming from the lower 48...the prices were very reasonable considering most items are flown in. The cashiers were also friendly.

Good store with a good selection. Plus you build points and get good discounts.Coupons and always offered weekly download thier app and shop and save.Still far more expensive in Seward pick your stuff up when your in Anchorage. Do some shopping right before you leave if your in town might ss well make the most use of your visit.

Love their selection of pre made subs for quick food on the go quick and easy. Liked this place alot more though when you could actually go to a cashier instead of self check out like Walmart or one of the other ones.

There’s generally a good selection of products, but every single time I’ve been there I’ve had issues with items not ringing up for the correct price and I’m beyond frustrated with trying to get it fixed every visit

selection and quality are just like any other safeway, some shelves are empty but not too bad.however cashiers are the worse, no greeting whatsoever, didn't say a word even just "hello" or "here is your receipt"; very sloppy, strong perfume, unpleasant experience in this safeway

Way over priced and your better off scanning your own groceries. I had a cashier carelessly scan the same item from the deli 4 times for 4 different but similar items. When I said something she nonchalantly replied oh they are only a couple cents more ore less..

I have been buying the meatloaf from here for about a year on a regular basis. Today I bought it and it was completely raw in the middle. Not cooked at all. Very disappointed. I wish they had a bigger selection of food.

My family and I shop here regularly while in Seward during the summer while taking care of our boat. This time was a real treat! The nicest young lady helped us in the deli. She was wearing a cute cat mask and was very sweet. Found everything we needed and then some. Will be back soon!
