Clean and secure. Beds were a bit worn, but the space was comfortable. No breakfast options and coffee is complimentary only in the coffee pot in each room, and there were no tea options. Restaurant has lunch and dinner with reservations only, so plan for morning meals. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful with daily cabs to the airport.Safety: Secure.

Nicest hotel in Kotzebue. My wife and I stayed here for two nights in early August 2022. We ate at the hotel restaurant several times and were never disappointed. On particularly nice thing was on the day we checked out, they allowed us to stay up in the observatory room for the rest of the day until our flight departed.

I did not stay at the hotel in a room so I cannot comment on the rooms. But we held a meeting at this hotel. It was a nice facility, very clean with all of the appropriate audio visual accoutrements. It has a lovely view! The personnel we worked with were very helpful. The common areas were tastefully decorated and clean and comfortable.

I can not say enough about how wonderful the hotel is. This is my third year of in a row of staying with them. Each time has been for a week straight. In this time you get to see and interact with everyone that works there. Not a single person had a bad attitude. All were outgoing and friendly. The rooms are clean and have everything you could need for your stay. Yes the rooms are expensive but it is to be expected. This is your only option if comfort is what you need. You can not compare it to Anchorage for they have competition bye to options. Thanks again for the wonderful stay!

George was out server last night during the storm.From the moment he approached us, he showed himself to be very friendly, pleasant, Happy, willing to listen and make changes. Restaurant is not very good. The people who run the restaurant are flustered if there is even one person sitting in and they will forget your information.Ordered for my room and never got the food. When standing at the desk to ask about it an hour later they specifically just avoided the desk. Would recommend getting food somewhere else if there is anything open when you arrive. Unfortunately if you are up here for work like I am then there is nowhere for you to go so just get used to it I guess.

Spent nearly a month here so I feel like I have a generally good idea. For starters the beds are very firm, I know that's subjective. The restaurant food is surprisingly tasteful considering where in the world you are but regardless of your meal selection more often than not you do not recieve utensils or napkins without requesting them. I did find a single bed bug in my room, however the staff immediately moved me and washed all my clothing upon my request. The washers and dryers are VERY expensive. $10 for one load(washing and drying) and they come out semi damp. So overall the hotel is just okay. Nothing to rave about.

Rude ManagerHad dinner and a show tonight.. Went out to eat with my coworkers at the hotel. Ang ordered onion rings and the Cajun salad, onion rings came and her salad never did. So we asked the waitress and she admitted she made a mistake and put a rush order on her salad. So by the time we were done eating Ang was just beginning to eat.. At the end of the meal, we politely asked if her salad can be on the house or discounted and the manager so rudely said, "What do you want me to do about it? Maybe next time you should go to Little Louies!" And I was literally taken aback and told him how rude that was.. So yall, next time you want to eat at the hotel, you're better off with more polite service at Little Louies..

Very nice, very clean. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. 4/5 bacause bathrooms only have a small shower with curtain, so water gets everywhere if you are not careful. Door to shower/toilet also opens at an awkward angle.

The hotel is nice, the two queen beds seemed to take up very little space in the large room. WiFi and cable TV, extra towels and pillows, small soap containers in case you forgot something, Fridge and microwave. There is a small room with aerobics equipment in it on the first floor. The restaurant is good, nice view of the bay and good selection, though being one of the few restaurants in town it was overly busy on Valentine's day so I did have to walk down and grab a waiter to order room service. The room I was in is on the top floor in a corner next to their signage, we had a wind storm and it was nearly impossible to sleep with the wind on three sides and rattling the signs, when the wind stopped at 2am you could still hear snow mobiles passing on the street below. The second night, without all the wind, I found sleep much faster. After previewing some of the other options in town, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

I could see the frozen bay with the village as well, unique and wonderful experience! The rooms were very clean. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful! I had a hard time sleeping because it was so quiet and the front desk staff provided me with a fan right away. Love this place! Will definitely come back!

Interesting piece of modernity, in a village that still subsists in their traditional ways. The entry way sculpture art would be apropos in NYC, a beautiful upside down umiaq. The hotel is comfortable, with great amenities, and friendly staff. Many rooms look out over the water, providing sunset views such as this one...provided the sun actually sets when you're visiting.

Clean, comfortable and quiet.Staff were very helpful and polite. Its lots nicer than the old hotel. Restaurant was closed for renovations which was the only draw back.

Great place in the coldest place I've ever been too!! Not only is it clean, taken care of, and have everything you need from a restaurant to a well stocked little store, they have the nicest people working here! I feel like family the whole time I've been here!!

Best place to stay in Kotzebue, no question! It's a nice hotel anywhere but stands out as excellent for the town. Rural Alaska has few nice places to stay, so this is a great acception to that rule. The restaurant is OK, the service is good, the rooms are comfortable, and the amenities are nice enough. Plus free internet in a town with high cost service is a very nice plus.

My room had a spectacular view over the ice. It’s a beautifully designed hotel and everything was very clean. Of course everything is very expensive, but that’s the nature of the location. The staff were all very friendly. I highly recommend this place when you come to Kotzebue.

Very polite staff. Worked very hard to keep hotel clean and safe during covid 19 outbreak. Came to Kotzebue to do critical infrastructure work. And this place supported our needs in a professional manor.

I always liked Nullagvik hotel the view is great just wish they would open breakfast restaurant for mornings other then that it's fine for lunch and dinnerRooms: I like the way we could control the temperature to cool or warm but the fridge needs a little improvement couldn't get it to a cooler temp for my beverages other then that it is fine

For the location, this hotel was surprisingly a nice place to call home for a night. the staff was great. but the food wasn't all that. overall the room was comfortable. it wasn't all that bad. nicest building in KOTZ.
