Needed a place to restock on soda, water, and snacks during my cruise. Not exactly nearby the cruise docks, but definitely walkable in a few blocks. Took an Uber back. Taxis also roam the area.

i’m leaving this review specifically & only to discuss that deli. i have eaten the chicken curry enough statistically i should’ve had one that wasn’t that good. as if. it’s killer every time, so is the adobo & anything else coming out of that kitchen. if i could give a ZILLION stars they could have them.

IGA is a great super market and with the renovations they have done and seamless connection to ACE Hardware and in store pharmacy you can get just about anything you need. If you are off the cruise ships you can walk there easily and there is a path between the museum and Prospector hotel.

Foodland has always been a solid spot for some good old fashioned deli lunches, as well as a better than average donut selection. With the updates and renovation it feels even more comfy and nostalgic.We’ve always loved their deli and I gotta say we’re rarely disappointed!

I am a huge IGA fan and the Juneau IGA did not disappoint! I bought a slice of cornbread here that was so good it has ruined all other cornbread for me, none of them compare! The deli and produce selection are highlights as well, and prices are great too.

Awesome store. Nice and clean. Very organized with fresh food. Cooked foods are delicious and their cold cut section has the best tasting meats. I love the smoked Turkey cold cuts the best. Great tasting sushi and their pharmacist is kind and very helpful. Great store all around. International foods are great.

Excellent grocery store. Has a really great variety of food, and prices are pretty comparable to the other stores in Juneau. The store is in good condition as well. Staff is friendly, its location is extremely convenient, and I appreciate that it is attached to Ace Hardware so I can go there for one-stop shopping. Their prepared food is also excellent for a quick breakfast or lunch on the go as well.

No self-checkout option, lines can be long during rush hour. Deli food is very expensive and poor quality. Grocery selection is okay, but prices are high. Convenient location, outdated fixtures and poor lighting. The integrated Ace hardware store is well-stocked.

Usually 5stars. Repeatedly.....As for 2Day, my bad did not use my glasses 🤓.The salad is 👍!The croutons "soft" i threw away. In the Foodland IGA. Defense the salad was on it's last day. I should of checked the Date.🤠👉🛒. Shop "on"

Very nice store. Service is decent with a few exceptions. There's a method to shopping here which takes a little while to figure out (the point system). Love the Ace Hardware and Ron's Apothecary attached. Unlike Fred Meyer, you can feel comfortable shopping here and don't want to run out with your hair on fire.

Really enjoy the expanded hardware section, the pet supplies section, the amazing variety of things that you can pick up in one place from local people. Everything from pharmacy to hardware to deli, I also like checking out the clearance section, I always find cool stuff. Frequently find hidden gems in the freezer case, whole pigs, deals on chicken paws, never hurts to check. There is even a great local coffee shop and a credit union! Overall, a great atmosphere of community here. #neverendingluau

Here, they're very nice,& patient,& polite. (I mean, if they can put up with me), they've got to be very patient, right.? You should visit this place, in the heart of downtown Juneau. It's so big,& wonderful. You can make a quick stop, or get something,& sit down,& eat it if you want. 😎😉😚🇺🇸

I enjoy shopping at IGA. Their prices are a little higher than the rest of the stores in town. IGA has a wide range of groceries that you cannot find throughout Juneau. I also like their salad bar and their Deli. Probably the best in town. Customer service and friendliness from their personnel is very good.

A lot of specialty items for a large grocery, and they know what the locals want -- things that are hard to get in Juneau like cheese imports and exotic fruit. The salad bar's good, I use it for lunch often, and the deli is exceptional -- the mole burritos & ribs are better than grocery store food has a right to be. Good seafood counter and frozen meats. Good Filipino food selection.

I haven't had any bad experiences so far. They are a bit more expensive then other stores on some items. There deli has really good food they did a brisket one day by a worker named Ron OMG i could eat like five pounds of it. They have manapua too in the hot case. Haven't tried too much other dishes though.

Conveniently placed for those who live downtown, the Foodland grocery section has improved dramatically in the last couple of years. It's still more expensive than Fred Meyers, and the service is lackluster. Still, for a grocery store it's awfully easy to get to, and for a convenience store it has an excellent range of products available.

Very pricey compared to home, but a great deal cheaper than eating out every meal. I stayed in the Juneau Hotel, easy walking distance to IGA and the hotel has full kitchen in each room. It worked out really well.

Helps local charities out with a space for raising money - organizations like the Juneau Rollergirls, salvation army, etc. Plus, they have a nice little variety of everything. Best quality of produce selection in town most of the time aside from Superbeat.

This market is freshly redecorated and has an amazing open market feel to it. I love the way it is arranged inside and the produce looks amazing. The prices are a bit higher than a few other stores (normal for Juneau, though), but they have a wonderful selection.Stop by and check it out !

My friends and I often went to foodland right after school. Its a great place for a quick snack and the deli there has some delicous choices. I highly reccomend the macaroni, its been my dinner many a time.
