If you taking the loop and going by Chicken stop for sure. We took a side trip from Tok, about 1.5 hours one way. The whole place is fun good for an hour. The old gold dredge is the most interesting. We had some chicken pot pie, good,expensive. The pies and cinnamon buns locked really good

What an amazing thing it is to be in Chicken Alaska. It’s really difficult to get there but so worth the effort. The scones were very special and the experience was spectacular. If you are up for adventure go here.

Expensive, but that's not a surprise given the location. You don't have options. Pass up the chicken pot pie. Heavy crust and barely any chicken. More like a potato pie. From what I saw the other options (e.g. burger, reindeer hot dog) looked good. Pie was very good.

Awesome food and great stories from the owner and employees. This is a true Alaskan backwoods small cafe, 60 miles from the nearest highway. Prices are high but reasonable when you consider how far they have to go for supplies, and your talking Alaska. A true wilderness area a.

Chicken Alaska is a bucket list must do. The ride from the north west to chicken and beyond to Dawson city was spectacular. It was late spring and still plenty of snow on the mountains so it was very scenic and the locals and chicken had just returned for the summer. The community and the building that housed the Mercantile, Liquor store, bar, and café are a hoot.

A must-do... Nice place to stay, have a coffee and enjoy a great pie.We didn't expect such a good time.The owner is really nice and fun to talk with.One regret: we did have the time to try everything

Stopped because I heard they have the most amazing cinnamon rolls. It was good, but not amazing, and was expensive in my book ($7.00!)

No opinion on the cafe, but as I was pulling in, a man came out a yelled “Where do you think you’re going?” along with more continual yelling that I couldn’t hear. He was rude and belligerent.I wouldn’t stop there again for any reason.

Great to see a local establishment. A bit disappointed they charged $5 for a slice of pie. Guess being in the middle of nowhere..... still wanted to support the economy here.

A trip up the Taylor Highway wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Chicken Creek Cafe. Anyone complaining about prices needs to remember where this restaurant is located...
