I had a terrible shopping experience yesterday. This was the third time I had been here. I went in to buy four replacement fish for the ones that had died. An older woman asked how big was my tank, how many fish did I have, and what kind? I told her that I had six fish in a 10 gallon tank and she said I could only have one more fish. They needed a certain amount of room per fish. I couldn't get any goldfish because they excrete too much waste and ammonia. So as my anger built, I held my tongue and just got an algae eater. She had something to say about that too. You're only supposed to leave your tank light on or expose them to sunlight for 6-8 hours. I leave mine on from 7 am - 7 pm. I  don't grow that much algae and that's why I have to buy algae tabs or starve the little guy to death. The algae tabs for a 3 oz package was $10 and change. I was having a good day until that woman stole my joy. This is the 3rd time that I have been there and no one said a word to me contrary to what I was buying. No one likes a know-it-all. Do I look like I have a lot of fish in my tank?

Best pet store in town. We used to get our German shepherd’s food here before she passed. Now we get my son’s fish and aquarium supplies here. Staff is always friendly. Today Brandon helped my son get his new fish. He was very nice and patient. Great spot!

This is my favorite store for my fur babies! Everyone is so nice and they take extremely good care of their animals. Last time I went in, the Guinee pigs, and hamsters were eating fresh fruit and blackberries. They care about animals and it shows. They always have the store organized and clean. I was very impressed how much selection, and how organized the store is. It is by far my favorite pet store and I would recommend it to anyone! The guy's that work at the Tuscaloosa store are amazing! Also, the girl's are very friendly and helpful. They make it a great experience every time we come in for our kitties. Mal, Bri, and Ash are outstanding!

Made my first and last purchase here today. I bought a tidy cats breeze litter system which looked brand new. Got it home and started to set it up only to realize the item was used with half of the disposable items missing. I'll deal with the extra traffic next time and go down the street to Petsmart.

My 80 lb boxer came here for a bath and toenail clipping. They did an amazing job! After the bath and toenail clipping they put a bandana on him and spray dog Armani on him. I have to say he looked quite handsome. What do y'all think?

When I walked in there was no one in sight, no one behind the cash register and it was a barren wasteland with the animals barking of what sounded like cry’s for them to be fed. The only worker that I encountered was a guy named Brandon and he looked like he hated his job. Not only was he rude to me, it looked liked he didn’t even want to be apart of the store. Not a single smile or greeting. All I came in to do was buy a new cat litter box and litter for my 2 cats. Brandon was behind the counter on his phone. I gave him a stern look and asked if he could ring me up. All he did was look at his phone and just had his hand out waiting for me to give him the total he didn’t tell me about. I’ll never come to this location again because of this Brandon worker.

It was a nice and clean store and my dog enjoyed going with me. I bought a harness their that didn’t end up fitting my dog and they let me exchange it easily. I wish they did not have the bulk treats in a big open container where my dog could easily reach and eat one. He is still a pup in training and got into these treats. I also wish the self serve washing station wasn’t $14 dollars. I would pay $7 or $8 for it, but instead I took my dog home so I could wash him for free.

I use to go here at least 3 times a week. It use to be way better. Now a days you have to wait 20-30 minutes to get help. It use to be a good place to get crickets but lately they want more money for less crickets. Now I only go once a month if that.

Talked to young lady about dog harness that would be able to keep the dog in it, no escape. I asked her about one and we both thought it would be good, but golden retrievers slip out if things like that...she told me I could return it if it didn't work and we'll I had to return it. No problem. Pet Supplies Plus also has a great dog tag machine!!

They have a very lge selection of pet foods & toys & they also have a room where you can bathe your pets for a small fee. It is also very neat & clean. I enjoy shopping there. Most everyone brings their pets in the store with them while they shop. It is a very nice store. I love shopping there.
