Grrrrrreat selection!!!!!!!!!! This has to be one of the best Dollar trees in the Birmingham area. Definitely recommend and will be back when we come back to the area for a visit.

People don't realize that they can perpetuate the very situations they dislike. It really sucks being rushed out of the store when you just walked in at 7:30 and they close at 8:00. The woman at the front made an announcement as we walked in that they were closing at 15 minutes, mind you it was 7:29. When we didn't immediately come back to the front, she walked to the end of the aisle, gave my wife an irritated look, and proceeded to make another announcement that they're now closing in 10 minutes. Mind you it's 7:33 now. My wife was like, "See, this is why I don't come in the stores like this because the employees always make patrons feel like they're an inconvenience." I used to work in retail, but I never made the customers feel like this because I understood that they were the reason I had an income. I bet this particular store loses a considerable amount of revenue when this woman closes. But hey, I'm just a business owner who might have bought them completely out of this item I had my eye on, had I been given time to make sure that it was what I needed. We checked out at 7:38.

The Dollar Tree on Highway 11 in Trussville is in my opinion lagging behind the other stores in our immediate area. I don't know if they need to expand or if they need to change their inventory, but I seem to be able to find more items and bigger variety of items at the Dollar Tree in Roebuck and Center Point. Unfortunately, Trussville is the closest store to my house, so I tend to go there more often than what I should. Also, every time I'm in there there seems to be only one employee working the register. The line is usually to the isles and the other employees on break or I'm not sure. However, and they're defense I do know that their labor is not run by the manager in in the store but buy corporate. it reminds me of when I was in high school and our heating and air conditioning units for controlled by the city of Atlanta and not Jefferson county. It would be 80° in Birmingham and they would have to heat on because Atlanta is at 60°. Sometimes I do believe that there is too much oversight in certain areas. The employees and Trussville I know are very nice and I do know that they try hard I just wish that they would let them hire more help.

I stopped going to this dollar tree because when I went in the past few years they always had boxes in the isles and empty shelves, rude employees, and always messy. I had to stop by on Halloween for candy and it was a completely different store. It was neat and clean with well stocked shelves and very organized. No boxes in the isles and they were stocking at the time! The staff seems all new, they were nice and very helpful. One lady stopped stocking to help my wife for about 10 minutes got a ladder and got all the flowers my wife wanted off the top shelf. My wife said "sorry I'm being so much trouble. " To which this employee said "It's no trouble at all ma'am, I'm happy to help, just Let me know if you need anything else." All with a smile. I think her name started with an A... I'm happy to be a regular customer again because of this new staff. Great job turning the store around a full 180 degrees! 👍

Although it was irresponsible for me to leave my apple air pods in the store. I asked the store manager and the female associate if they found them. Now I have find my iPhone on my phone and my headphones immediately connected to them when I walked back in the store. I walked all over that store but no headphones. I’m sure the young lady has them but I hope she is happy with those. I bought a new pair this same day, if you were so desperate for some go buy them instead on stealing them.

Stood in line waiting for service to get balloons. When another rep was called for assistance. She s customers to skip me. After the first customer I tell her I need balloons. They then decide to tell me that they don’t have helium. This would have been nice to know 20 minutes prior. Poor customer service! Guess I expected too much from the Dollar Tree

Cashier was texting while ringing up my items, she would stop working and pick up her phone and text. Then after I paid and got my bags she hands me the basket for me to put away! Hello, I don't work here. Rude customer service.

Ohhhhh, my. Understaffed is an Understatement. I know things are tense and stressful during this time but, man. This location left a lot to be desired. Again, not due to the staff. They were lovely, but there were only 2 of them in a store full of shoppers.

I would pretty much consider myself a regular customer of the local Dollar Tree Store located on Main Street in Trussville, AL, until now. They are always hiring and after my less than pleasant experience with the manager named Victoria I understand why. Short summary: I attempted to exchange items w/o my receipt that were purchased on a previous visit (all unopened) I was advised that the receipt says “you need a receipt in order to exchange anything and I am the manger, and it’s written on the receipt” Respectfully, I walked out to put my items in my car and returned to make a purchase. The issue isn’t the store policy. THE ISSUE IS VICTORIA’S HORRIBLE ATTITUDE. Victoria was truly a miserable black woman in a predominantly caucasian area which only fuels the stereotypical agenda toward blacks and passes the misery onto other employees. With management like this, The Dollar Tree Store on Main St. will continue to have to hire new people.

The sales clerk I checked out with today Octber 2, 2021around 1:00pm in Trussville Alabama on Highway 11 next to Winn Dixie had absolutely no personality. I spoke and she didn't speak back and her attitude was the same with two people in front of me it takes absolutely nothing to speak if your day is going badly I can assure you that it wasn't the person you are helping..It would be nice to train the employees on better customer service, because even though things are only a $1.00 that is still people hard earned money and to encounter that kind of attitude is ridiculous and makes that particular store look HORRIBLE as it pertains to customer service..I would give a score of "0" if I could only on customer service..

This Dollar Tree is THE WORST store anywhere!!! It always looks like that there has been a riot inside and they DO NOT have the selection of other stores. It is a shame that I need to drive to Springville, AL for a neat and well stocked store!!!

This is your basic Dollar Tree, but for some reason this one is always extremely disorganized. They seem to always be unloading product and there is usually a mess in the aisles. The ones in Roebuck and Center Point are much better kept .

I go past the one near me to visit this one. They have more than one register open and a large selection of items. The staff is friendly. They will go pull out stock from the back if needed.

The store was messy and in disorder ,however it was the evening before Easter so people were in a mad dash to buy goods for their Easter baskets.
