Went to home depot Sylacauga on Jan. 31. Went to buy a new refrigerator. Could not find anyone to help me with the purchase. Stood around appliances for 15 minutes. No one ever came. Went to Lowes in inverness the next day and purchased one. Not the first time i have had an issue getting help there.

We got here and had to get helped called over. Cain was an absolute delight to work with. He did not work in the paint department, but still offered his help and got us what we needed!! Cain needs a raise, but overall the experience was pretty good!

Went to this location with intention of buying a Weber grill and the customer service was awful had one female employee try to talk down to me informing me that the water all over the grill moisture you know is how she said it and said they had one in the box I asked do you put them together for the customer and she replied I don’t think so well Lowe’s does put them together for the customers at no charge and there customer service is so much better.i will take my 450 hard earned money and spend it with someone that actually wants my business Home Depot is pathetic

Nice well stocked store.Bathrooms were clean...But i definitely got told to go use a self checkout, when it was card only and i had cash....I told them this and they insisted otherwise.Sooo... I waited at one of the 2 open registers for maybe 10 mins...But what bothered me most was that there were 10-15 employees visible, and they couldn't open another register. This was at mid day on a Friday and there were easily 30 customers just right around the check out area.Otherwise, it's a nice place .

Had a hard time finding employees that were willing to help get lumber down from high shelves and had a hard time getting an employee to come help load onto our truck. Me and my mother ended up doing it ourselves but while we were trying to load the truck, they sent a guy with glasses out and he decided to walk over the the Caucasian male with wood to help him instead of walking over to the 2 black women with wood...and even when the man declined his help, he decided to go pull carts instead. Lol, they are some sorry individuals.

Ryan made my day today! I called many Home Depot’s store looking for a sander. I called this store and got Mr. Ryan. He knew the product I needed, gave great advice and he knew all about the product. That lets me know he really enjoys his job. I’m so grateful because I’m an older woman and I don’t know much about home improvement projects. I’m going to drive from Pell City to shop at this store because he made me feel like I was family and he knows what he is talking about. Give him a raise!!! Especially at a time like this when people don’t want to work or they are just there for a paycheck!

Stay away from any of the ""Pro"" services this home depot offers. We paid to have a washer and dryer set delivered and installed. The guys came here and spent 20 minutes doing the install. When I took a closer look, the installers vented my dryer into my underbelly and allowed a leak to form from rough handling the supply valves. Dissapointed.

very pleasant experience my favorite Home Depot of all to go to the people that work there will help you load your lumber on the cart. Push it out to your truck. very clean restrooms very friendly cashiers. They always have an excellent stock of wood lighting. Anything you would possibly need I just love it.

every time I go i have a great experience. friendly employees, especially Beth. she is in the plants section- she was so helpful to me and my friends as we were choosing what plants we wanted. she told us how to care for them all, helped us choose the best ones for each of us. just a wonderful person. so friendly. thanks beth.

Went in to have a key made. The lady at the check out called for someone to help me. It took a few minutes and she didn't have any customers and did it for me. If I ever have any problem finding something, I can always find an associate to point me in the right direction.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and kind. The older gentleman working plumbing was very patient, knowledgable and even taught me a few things about the project I had. We have around 30 homes to remodel here in Sylacauga and we're just getting started so I look forward to getting to know this store much better.

Went in looking for a cut off valve. Couldn't find any employee and I was standing there for about 30 min. Went to the next aisle and there was the part I needed (I thought). Checked out, went home (Cburg) then went back because it wasn't the correct part. Thankful for the other customers that helped me. ☹😤

Love the big selection. Customer service is something lacking. You can't get help in the store or to load merchandise. When you mention it to management, the excuse is always "short staffed". However there will be employees huddled up chit chatting.

The employees at this location are helpful and nice, however we purchased carpet from the Sylacauga Home Depot in December 2022 for our home, this came with included installation and removal of the old carpeting. The carpet was installed the day the arctic blast hit. While his crew was installing the carpeting, the lead of the installation crew said he couldn't take away the old carpeting because he "only took what we can resell, Home Depot should have told you that." We spoke to Nik from the flooring sales team and asked about the removal of the old carpeting and she said they couldn't remove it that day because their van was full as they had another job to do later that day. Their van was empty, I looked. We asked for a reschedule for pick up of the old carpeting and was told we would be called to schedule it. We never received a call. I called the location and spoke to someone on the sales team and was told we would definitely be called back to reschedule, but she needed to speak to the installation crew first. She called back and said the installation crew said the carpet was soaked with pet urine so they wouldn't take it and they'd told us that already. I told her she was misinformed, we had a professional carpet cleaner clean the carpet 2 works prior and they specifically went over the carpeting with a black light and found no evidence or urine. Additionally, this was the third different excuse they'd come up with. She said she'd call her manager and let us know. We have never heard back, and this is now the middle of February. We've spent thousands at this Home Depot in only a couple of months after buying our home. But never again. It's clear they don't stand by their word and will not honor their contracts. Buyer beware.

Just like any other Home Depot but the workers were very helpful. I've needed many things cut or unlocked and not once did somebody seem upset about that. They all seem to enjoy helping people. The garden section is upkept very well and the birds that come through are quite cute. They have military or veteran parking as well as wheelchair parking. I haven't tried curbside pickup but it was offered. The self checkout is very simple no matter what you have and the attendee is very helpful if needed. Check out the light section if you're a shiny loving dragon. No gold but lights will suffice.

The workers in Sylacauga are always helpful, and super kind. We had purchased 2 beautiful fans during a remodel but within a month one of them stopped working correctly. We didn't have the box nor the receipt since we had purchased paint, trim and stains. They took the fan back and allowed us to get a new one. You cannot beat customer service like that in many places today.

A good place to shop overall. The service has improved in assisting to locate specifics in such a large store. John, an employee, greets you at the door and goes above and beyond to assist. Of course he is "old school" and has an exceptional work ethic that others could follow his example. Most employees are friendly and courteous. The store is very clean and products offered definitely meet your building and remodeling needs.

One of the nicest Home Depots I've been to. The store is very clean and organized and the staff are great. Made an online purchase here and when I got to the store 45 minutes later, the item was waiting for me at Customer Service ready to go. Took all of 15 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I was heading back home. Awesome!

Most of the employees are great, bit a few leave a lot to be desired. Ask for help going through the sheetrock because there was a bunch of busted up peices on top that they wouldn't discount which was fine, I just wanted complete sheets if I was paying full price. The fellow ask me, well whats wrong with these and left me standing there to go through it and load it myself. Bought ready to go back to spending a few extra dollars on mom and pop places.
