The lady that owned the place was extremely friendly. It was a unique place. Not only full of beautiful plants, flowers & seeds, but a lot of antiques to look at. She gave me a cute enamel green kettle. I loved it

New to Alabama, and have been coming to Pete’s frequently while building my garden. They are the only retail location within an hour of me that sells Fox Farms soil, and they’re priced competitively to places like Home Depot / Amazon, and have them beat. Have loads of fertilizers and animal products, seed starts and seeds — staff is friendly, this is really a hidden gem of a store, especially in a town like Sylacauga. Will continue to give this store my business.

Worst place ever woman got an attitude over some worm medicine for dog and then snatched pill back and turned around and started sweeping the already dirty floor pushing dirt back and forth . Doesn’t know how to treat customers. Then it stinks and is very dirty would not recommend.the parrot was nice at least tho :)

The owner/staff here are always freely. They take time to answer any questions you may have and Will even explain how to administer shots and dewormer for dogs. You Will always be greeted with a smile.
