I still love this place but the problem is they all think that this is eBay and they're trying to charge more money than you can get retail for an item on eBay plus if you'll look at the pictures you'll notice the flea market has changed I've never seen such in Phenix City Alabama no not in Phenix City Alabama Cozumel Progreso or Tijuana Maybe

While I get the flow of traffic they are trying to improve on...it is horrible! No signage to stop cars from going down and getting stuck where they closed off vehicle access. We went today and got so frustrated...I turned around and left! The cars coming in off the 280 entrance have NO IDEA it is a Dead End at 2nd entrance (once inside the grounds) I love the new owners are making changes and aesthetically it is pleasing but you need traffic cops...CONES? BARRELS? I don't have the answer but it is a madhouse over there 😕

Eat at the snack shack!!! Fantastic food and large portions. Prepare for lots of walking and uneven terrain- ladies don’t come to the flea market trying to look cute. You never know what you will find. Yard sale leftovers, estate sale stuff, super cheap treasures, collectibles, homemade oddities, chickens, puppies, ducks, new clothes, new name brand shoes, car stereo equipment, fresh produce, perfume, homemade cakes, swap meet louis, a couch, chainsaw, houseplants, basically whatever you can imagine someone thinks they can make a buck on- will be there. It’s fun to bargain with folks. Sometimes it’s hit and miss. Everything dies down and folks start packing up around lunch.

Always a variety of things from snacks, old gas heaters, or football stuff customizable from a wonderful couple and their son enupatrour. Be careful if you sell some sneaky hands and thieves. We sold a few times and had things stolen. It's a flea market come on. Maybe new owners doing something about it. They sure are improving the parking.

Great place to visit and lots to choose from. Everyone was very friendly even though it was packed. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

They are ok but they need to fix all the ditches and pot holes but we all now they won't fix that so if you are going to the flea market during the week end might want to park somewhere else because they are not responsible for any damage to anyone cars so you don't want to end up in a ditch or have a busted hood cap just park somewhere else

Great direction and improvements under the new ownership! Always an interesting visit. Set yourself a spend limit or you'll leave with way more than you planned to buy. Too many great options and deals!

If you can think of it its sold here! The people are very helpful and go out of their way to assist. The rental prices are fair. The owners are very kind. Id recommend this place to anyone looking for a deal. Its very family oriented, a good time for all aves.

Finally got to take my friend Charlene Neace to see the famous Lee County flea market in Smith station Alabama, I have told her so much about it, we had a good time and walked alot but she got to see it all and we found alot of good things, wish we had things like this in our town defuniak springs FL

This may ba a great place for young frisky people and goats but not for older people it is just too rough to get around on your feet they allow drivers to speed thru walking area it just took hard to get out of the way of traffic, not safe for shoppers

Great place to find used or second hand valuables. Or just to walk around and look. Has snack bar's and shaved ice stands. You can find anything from cd's to pets! Wear comfortable walking shoes!

My husband and I have been renting a booth at the flea market every weekend for the entire month of March. The owners are extremely friendly and the booth rental price is reasonable. Our experience has been okay, as we make enough money to cover the table rent and if we're lucky, maybe a couple bucks extra. The vendors, for the most part, are whole sellers, selling products such as concentrated car wash, body oils, Sundries, cheap toys designer purses which are probably knock offs. the thing that has been working against us is the weather. But that's nothing to do with the flea market itself. it has been raining a lot and it is a dirt lot through and through. And when it rains there are literally Rivers you must cross if you need to go to the restroom or to your vehicle etc. We enjoy this flea market and we would fare better if the weather would cooperate .

This place has everything you could ever imagine from purses to lawnmowers to lamps to belt buckles to boiled peanuts and barnyard animals🤣 All bases are covered for sure! You can certainly find what you’re looking for as well as a bunch of stuff you weren’t looking for. Even if you don’t buy anything, I think everyone should experience the Lee County Flea Market at least once. Put it on your bucket list. Get a funnel cake and people watch. You won’t be disappointed!
