We stopped here to pick up some pecans. We got spicey and chocolate covered pecans. We couldn't stop eating them. They also sold food, but we only got pecans because we were en route to PCB. May we'll try the food next time we pass through. The desserts in the display case looked delicious and they would have made a nice snack the next morning.

Loved this place, from the owner, pecans and lunch. We made a stop for pecans as a gift in our way to visit friends. The owner was so kind and genuine and the pecans so delicious and fresh we stopped for lunch on our way home to Canada. I had my very first fried green tomatoes and now understand the hype, yes, that good! The turkey sandwiches on sourdough were fresh and fantastic! Thank you so much!!

When I first started visiting The Alabama Pecan Company it was great. Food was awesome, and great customer sefvice. I didn't mind paying a little extra money for good food, but now it seems like the employees don't care about the service they provide customers. I paid right at $14 for a bun, hamburger patty, bland chilli, and carbonated water, which was suppose to be sprite. This makes the third consecutive time we have been disappointed with the food and paying an outrageous price for it. I didn't want to leave a bad review. Hopefully I can change it in the future, but if nothing is going to change then I can't support the business. I wish the best for the company, and hope they can make some good changes.

We stopped here on the way home from the beach. We needed a bottle warmed for our baby but they didn’t have a microwave(which was a good sign to me that the food would be good). The sweet employee offered to boil water and she heated it for us. The cheese curds and the fried green tomato were THE BEST I have ever had. My mother in law had wings and said they were great. My father in law had fried shrimp and loved them. My husband and i had grilled cheeses with tomato soup and it was some of the best tomato soup I’ve ever had. We shared fried okra and grilled veggies(squash zucchini and onion) and I couldn’t stop eating. We usually take a different route home from the beach but we will be going this way from now on just to eat here. I was so pleasantly surprised. 10/10 for food and service!!Vegetarian options: We had the grilled cheese with a tomato soup, fried okra and grilled veggies. Also lots of veggie appetizer options!

Decided to try this place on a whim. I was presently surprised. Great food the owners are very friendly. While you are there take a look at their shop next door. I bought Praline Pecans and they were definitely worth it.

My wife and I stopped in on our way back from Greenville and really enjoyed it. I had the hamburger steak with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and fried okra. My wife had the bone-in wings that were on special, garlic parmesan seasoned, and fries. We also had the 2 piece tender kids meal with fries for our 2 year old. We were seriously impressed with the food down to the toast that came with the meal that was literally perfectly prepared, as everything we ordered was. When I say “perfectly prepared” I mean cooked to perfection, not under not over. You could really tell that the food was made with pride and not just cooked quickly and throw on a plate like most places now a days. Even with that being said though we probably only waited 10 minutes for the food from the time we ordered. Besides the food being amazing, there was this great sense of hospitality and care for the us as customers. We felt welcomed and comfortable in this well put together, simple, and clean environment the owners have put together. Our one and only complaint would be that it should be closer to home so that we could eat here more often!

Impressed by this small town gem! Very clean. Great service. Food prepared very well. Good selection. Very nice gift shop. It is very apparent that the owner is directly involved in day-to-day operations… They take great pride in their establishment and it shows. Great food, reasonably priced, in a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend a stop if your passing through Samson.

I ordered the pecan pralines, candied pecans and pecan oil from their online website. I had a question and sent a message on a Sunday morning. They responded within less than 5 minutes and were very helpful and most pleasant. I placed my order and it arrived within three days.The pralines are to die for. I have used the oil once and it's so light and tasty. I will be ordering again soon.

This is a small jewel on the road in south Alabama. We spotted it passing by and decided to stop. Very nice ladies offered coffee, sweets and food. The burger is a "must try" and was ready momentarily. The shop offers souvenirs and local craft produce. I am lucky we stopped here. Will visit it again if I pass nearby.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor games.

Grade A++ experience and food. Stopped on our way to the Beach. We will definitely make this a regular stop. By far some of the best breakfast and customer service. Deserves more then 5. Stopped for lunch and ordered chicken fried chicken with gravy, sidewinder fries, fried okra, potato soup, and a slice of pecan pie. Great batter on the chicken, crunchy with moist meat. Not greasy. Nice peppery gravy. First time I've had sidewinder fries. Shaped similar to apple slices. Nice golden brown and tasty. Soup had pieces of bacon on top with gratted cheese and a sprinkle of green onion. All was very good. STAFF was excellent. Don't think I've been served by a nicer person. I think that if I had asked her to wash my car while I ate, she would have while still keeping up on orders. Also bought a whole pie and snickerdoodles in their store.

The cashier completely left out my son's order. She told us that the listed prices included a drink and fries but it didn't. The ocra was too hard, fried were still raw, burgers were good but Philly was very dry. She overcharged us because she rang up drinks and sides separately but it was all suppose to come together as 3 meals. The whole experience was horrible and we will NEVER be back there. I suggest they train the staff to do their jobs better!

The food was great and the kitchen staff very friendly. The girl at the counter was not as friendly but still pleasant. The only issue I had was that their menu does not indicate that you'll be upcharged for certain sides nor did the cashier taking my order indicate that until i saw my receipt. The menu says your meal comes with 2 sides but unless you choose from 4 options they're all an additional fee. That was a bit frustrating.

The online ordering is really easy to do, and pick up was fast even in the height of lunch time. Chicken sandwich was hot and crispy and pretty wonderful, kind of too wonderful as I ate the whole dang thing! The banana nut muffins are heavenly and huge, as well as their cinnamon rolls which come in a close second as my favorite. Staff is super friendly, the building itself is roomy and clean. I am so lucky I only life a mile away. Thank you!

Cute Cafe with a store attached. Coffee was yummy and so was the food! We were able to buy food to go and then go over to the shop and get ground coffee and all sorts of different pecans along woth some local honey!! Staff was super nice.
