It's a fine little store. You can usually find stuff there that isn't at other stores. They also don't have everything so you may have to visit 2 stores to get what you want. My experience was that I needed Kale and they didn't have it. It's also pricier than I really want to pay for some items but other items are not so bad. Like I can agree on their 12 pack of soda prices but I don't on the family size bag of chicken leg quarters.Either way don't listen to me and please check them out.

I don't go here very often and when I do it's for the basic staple items. Can't even get bread here.Do not buy meat here, No matter how you try to flavor the meat it still taste dull.

Had a nice selection of food and what a grocery store should have, what impressed me most was the deli section and deli food, it was very good! Big cinnamon rolls and other stuff like cookies and also lunch and dinner foods too.

I absolutely LOVE shopping here!They have products that Walmart doesn't have anymore. Like jalapeno poppers and Gatorade zero, Cool Blue. Also the employees here are very helpful and polite.

Personable and friendly staff. Prices are on the high side, but they do have a good selection of foods, drinks, and condiments. Fresh made cakes, desserts, and other foods are convenient.

Always friendly at Big ⭐ Star!Also, nowadays where else can you still get your groceries taken out to your🚗or , AND even put them in your if you need them to. That's AWESOME! The or 🏼‍♀️ bagging your groceries will do this free for you, of course they will take a tip if offer it. They still say yes and no ~ Ma'am and Sir... 😎

The small carts were great for my 3 year old but the food prices were a but outrageous! I understand that local grocery stores must charge more but geez bro! Ease up. I do love the soups of the day and hot meals that are hot and ready but a little decrease in the high prices would make this my grocery store of choice 🙃.

I only went in for the hot plate lunch and it was great!! I only wish they weren't already made. It would have been nice to pick my own choice of sides. Overall the food was great and the cashier was nice. I will be back when I'm in the area.

Its clean and small. Staff is friendly. They sell the basics, don't expect to walk in, and find gourmet foods. Meat department usually beats most meat prices including Walmart.

This store has been standing here since I first set foot in this town over 18 yrs. ago. The groceries are mostly brand and high quality items. (Not Dollar General merchandize) therefore you get what you pay for. What I love the most is the fresh cooked meals they make every day. Freshly cooked with fresh vegetables fruits and meats. You can spend from $10.00 to $15.00 dollars for a fantastic meal for two. That is a meat -vegetable-and starch, including dessert sometimes, for about 5-6 dollar a plate. We pay about $7.00 dollars for a hamburger and fries right? And only God knows what is actually in that meal! I buy here a lot of dinners when I am not up to cooking, and actually it is much cheaper to get the meals here, than to cook, once you count the gas, electricity, dishwasher, cleaning oven stove, sink, floor mop OMG!!! Don't even get me started. They also bake fresh everything love the PUNCH BOWL banana Pudding! People again awesome, friendly. Clean, corvid machine cleaner for carts .. OH and fresh Sushi ...you name it -they got it!!! Big star we love you!!!

I have recently come to LOVE this store. They are clean. The staff are professional AND courteously helpful. That is a quality that seems to be in short supply these days. The produce, dairy, meats, etcetera. Are stocked frequently.Personally I have not had a problem, howeverif there is a problem with a customer, they handle it quietly and professionally. Overall EXCELLENT store!

I used to love to shop here when it was actually a big star. Wish they still had big star name brand and different sales than Foodland. The prices have skyrocketed also since the change. If it's not on sale expect to pay double what it's worth. Why would anyone want to pay $4.00 for a bowl of soup when you can go anywhere and get a bowl for that price.

Helpful. They are the only grocery store in this little town to carry my favorite vanilla yogurt ice cream! Not walmart,not priceless. The only one! Thank you Big Star!

It would have been more beneficial to have an electrical wheelchair cart for those having a difficult time getting around. I saw one manual wheelchair with a very small cart. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice people and a good selection of groceries, the meat and produce are always fresh , the bakery items are good, they have prepared food to take and bake made in store, and the hot foods cooked in the store are yummy 😋I also love how they give back to their customers by the “win what you spend” drawings

The manager Dale (an adult) humiliated a 16 young man in front of everyone!!! Very much uncalled for!!!! Very upset. Love shopping here but will not be back when he is working. No so called manager should act this way he is a joke!!!!!
