Just had terrible experience in the Store. After 12yrs of doing business with Rogersville Hardware and 1000's of dollars, I've decided to close my account and stop patronizing the store. I had an employee, Kristy(sp), tell me after arranging to have a new mower deck assembled with the Owner Danny, that she knew nothing about it, and I should have talked to her as Danny has nothing to do with the Shop. I was told I would have to wait 2 months for the deck, I had talked to Danny about for 3mons prior. When she became rude, I told her I would take my business elsewhere and she said, "We wish you would." So I closed my account paid for everything I owed them and will take my business to another business.As long as this rude woman works in this store, I will only use it for convenient nuts and bolts or purchases under pocket change.

Really didn't seem like they wanted to help the customers. They stand up in a little group behind the counter chatting it up. Better off going to Lowes!Update: my daddy when up there to get a part was waited on told they would order it. He went up to see if it was in the next wk and they told him it would be next Tuesday he went up the next Tuesday told it would be in the next Tuesday. Going in the next Tuesday just to find out it was never order. It wasn't on back order they just dis not order it! They don't know how to run a hardware store.

Very helpful independent hardware store. They don't have lumber or much in the way of building supplies, but anything you want in the way of tools, fasteners, and two-stroke parts and tools they have or will order for you.Also has a good two-stroke engine shop that can make you pretty much whatever kind of chainsaw chain you might want (including square chisel, skip tooth, and ripping chains).Closed on Sundays, only open till noon on Saturdays, and the engine shop is closed on Mondays.

Great place to shop for what you need from a small town hardware store. Friendly folks working in there, an excellent supply stock. What more can I say other than when I get ready for semi retirement, that's the place I would want to settle into and be one of the old guys sitting around the heater waiting for a costumer to come in needing something.

It's a nice store with nice people. Selection is good given the store size. They have just about all you need for the vast majority of projects. The product quality is good too. No junk just to sell it cheap . It's basically tIhe corner hardware store of your past before lowes and Wal mart. Prices are competitive and they're local and independent so I go there first

Great store! Friendly, helpful staff. Well stocked--if I need it, they almost always have it. Reasonably priced and well worth the time and money saved by not having to drive about 40 miles round trip to Athens. Highly recommend!

The men on the hardware side are great and helpful but the guy Jason on the shop side is a different story. Waited for hours after getting off the phone with him saying someone was on their way to pick up my mower. No show no call. I called to see if he was lost or something...no answer...I try to do local business but he is the reason I won't go there!!!

Good selection for a small town hardware store. If they don't have it in stock, don't waste your time letting them order it though. They'll forget numerous times and you'll end up going somewhere else anyway. Service department does good work, but only works on what they sell now. If its not Stihl or Ferris, they no longer work on it.

They have had my Farris lawnmower for 2 months and have added numerous parts that haven't worked and mower still not fixed. I was told this was a learning experience for them by Danny so in the scheme of things I will end up paying for parts I didn't need as they are obviously guessing what the problem is. The mower is only 2 years old this year

Love this place. We buy our chain saws and lawn mowers here. Always have good service and they keep our equipment repaired. If you need anything in the hardware line be sure you check it out with Joe or Danny first before going out of town

They were extremely helpful. They didn't have the parts I needed and their distributor was out of stock. So, they looked them up and found them on Amazon and told me I could order them from there.

They carry a lot of hardware and have most items in stock. Reasonable prices and saves you time versus driving to big box stores in town. Great friendly staff.

This is great little hardware store that has most everything you would expect at a Lowe's or Home Depot. They also carry Stihl and other commercial lawn mower brands such as Snapper and Ferris. They also service what they sell. They actually have people who work there that offer to help you which makes them better than most stores.
