Pros:-Nice employees that are willing to help you with finding stuff.-Self checkout if you want to speedily get out-Good selection at prices comparable to other stores-Produce is available now so you do not have to drive 10 miles to Food Giant-Stays open till 10Cons- If you live in the area you know that this is the only real store for miles.- Higher markup compared to Wal Mart-Long lines at peak rush hour.-Items are often out of stockBottom line is, if you've been to a DG you know what they're like. I do dislike that its the only store in the area. But the employees do their best. Not to mention produce! You can buy fruit and veggies now.

Dirty things every where. Cashiers are nice but not really helpful. And I heared a worker telling other worker to do the easy stuff because she was going to put someone else to do the hard stuff... so unprofessional to say that in front of customers.People who serve in this kind of stores don't take pride on their job or place of work they work to have a check. How sad..

Heavy turnover rate. The manager can be extremely rude and sometimes there's no cashier or they are off talking with another coworker. If they improved their standards and focused more on customer service, they'd get 4/5

I mean what can you say it's a Dollar General.stoped to get a dozen eggs . you can see the bottom of the refrigerator and there was dried raw egg all over the the bottom of the refrigerator. Dried egg smeared all over the the bottom wasn't recent it had been there a while somebody had restocked new products On top of raw egg. It looked too be standard practice. Most likely it's still there today. Not all Dollar Generals are this way the one closest to me very clean. This one was convenient and on the way home

I needed specific items and was able to locate each and every thing with great help from cashier. The store was neat and clean a little cluttered with special items but navagating was ok. I always check rhe clearance shelf and found great deals for diy Projects.

Zero isn't low enough for this Dollar General, they will not honor your coupons, and the manager is on one side of the store and the cashier checking guest out on the other so when she needs assistance from the said mngr the cashier will scream her name at the top of her lungs 8xs I counted , then she walks off to go get her to remove an item that they wouldn't take my valid, with in date coupon for and not once apologize for the wait or any other inconvenience that myself and the other guest tolerated. I'm so grateful that the Dollar General I frequent has wonderful customer service, this one you should just shut down and start over !!!

Almost never stocked with family basics. Employees are generally pretty nice. They definitely don't enforce mask wearing

This is my go-to when I'm short something in the kitchen and also a stopping place on my way home for a treat or a cold drink. There are sometimes long lines with just one register open, but it's a good place to make a quick stop.

This one on hwy 231 is SWEET! Clean, always, and larger and inventory is increased. The employees are nice. I just enjoy going into a store that feels "fresh".

It has really been a struggle to improve this DG. I only live two miles from here so I visit frequently. They've had many turnovers in the manager position which has affected its performance. It is beginning to improve however. I believe that perhaps they have brought in the correct people now, ones that are interested in making this DG better. This DG has a lot of potential and they are finally beginning to keep it well stocked, with most needed items being available. Unfortunately, most of the time there is only one cash register working because these machines are from the 80s and they're just not able to sustain the volume that goes through this store.

Great place to pop in and grab a few things on my way home, people are friendly and very helpful. I always pass the one in Pinson to shop at the one in Remlap ( much better service and store stays stocked).

You pull up to a store at 9:50 and the sign says they close at 10 o’clock and walk up to the door and you can see the employees trying to hide behind the shelves to avoid your business and plus they don’t care either way the little short girl That drives the silver Chevrolet cobalt is so rude and obnoxious that Dollar General is a joke

This store is horrible. The staff is immature the sign say they close at 10:00pm not at 9:50pm. An employee hiding in the store behind shelves when she saw a customer at the door at 9:50pm.
