It is very disheartening to see some of these reviews. We brought our puppy to River Region without seeing any reviews, and I have to say that EVERYONE at River Region has been kind, courteous, loving, and very knowledgeable. Who wouldn’t want someone who is passionate about the care of our babies. My Nico has received every service from them. He goes to the daycare, has been boarded, receives grooming services, and vet services. I’m from the Midwest and the prices here are very reasonable. He has been going here since we got him at 8 weeks and he is now 13 months old. He gets so excited to see everyone there. So please see for yourself because I wouldn’t take my Nico anywhere else. I love River Regions Vets - both Dr. Meyer and her staff. They love on my sweet girls and call after their appts to check on them. They are attentive and listen to my feedback and are as concerned with my cats as I am. They walked me through some digestive issues with my youngest, Gracie, and made my little girl healthy again. They are also very fair in their pricing and billing. I couldn’t ask for better care!!! ❤️❤️❤️

10/10 the absolute BEST around! This wonderful group has went above and beyond to help save and rehome so many animals without batting an eye! I have personally witnessed the lives they have had to save and it has been a true blessing to know that every animal they come into contact with has been in their care has known love and compassion from them! I will always be grateful to them for doing what others will not by trying to save these poor animals! Keep up the good work guys. Because of you they’re getting a second chance at life!

PAWSOME DAYCARE--My fur child has been attending doggie daycare for 3 months now and he loves it. Previously to coming here he was going to a daycare in Montgomery. I changed jobs so he had to change daycare's. I can honestly say that he is so happy in the mornings to be coming here he whines when we start to pull in because he can't wait to get out of the truck. He sure does love Niki, as I'm sure anyone's pet would she is so great with animals. This is definitely where your pet needs to come!

We recently brought a new Yellow Labrador Puppy into our lives (again). We've raised Labs for over 20 years now. Our newest pup is our 5th one and we needed to find a place for daycare for him.We visited several kennels, Veterinary Offices and pet spas in our area. We toured their kennels, offices, play areas and did our homework. We visited River Region Veterinary Services as one of those that we were considering. We were met for the first time by Kayla. And even though we visited other places, we kept thinking about how welcoming and kind Kayla was to us (and is to us).Right away she fell in love with out new puppy and gave us a lot of information about the "Puppy Camp" that RRV offers. While the other offices and kennels were staffed by good people and were very clean, none of them ever offered a "Puppy Camp" to help socialize our new Puppy before letting him in with older dogs.We also met with Dr. Myers a couple of times when she visited our new puppy in the front lobby. We knew that RRV was the right place for us and for our dog. We feel very comfortable with leaving him here and the Staff show so much love and care for all of the animals here. Our puppy has now moved from "Puppy Camp" to a weekly Day Care once a week. His transition was made so much smoother and easier due to the care of Kayla and all of the wonderful caregivers and Vet Techs here.We intend to be regular customers here and when our puppy is due for his next examination and vaccines, we will be more than happy to be regular clients with Dr. Myers and Her wonderful Staff.

I have just started using them and just boarded my 2 pugs with them while we were away for 5 days. My pups were clean, super soft and smelled so good when I picked them up. Even though they were super excited to see us when we got there to pick them up they were very calm so I know they were happy while there and not stressed out. I left them at another place several months back and they were shaking and nervous acting when I got there to pick them up but Not here so I definitely recommend and will definitely stick with them!!

Dr. Myers has been my Vet since moving here in 2011. She's seen the highs and the lows and always helped us as much as she could. I love her and quite frankly, I'm selfishly dreading the day she retires. I've always received A++ care for my fur babies and not just from Dr. Myers but from her staff as well. I highly recommend this practice!

I recently switched to River Region and was pretty impressed with Dr. Amy Myer's knowledge and kindness with me and with my dogs. This place is by appointment only, which minimizes the wait time, but can also be frustrating if your dog is sick and you can't get in to see the vet. This happened to me once when the vet was out of the office; however, I understand everyone needs to take time off. Luckily, my dog was better by the next morning and I didn't end up needing to take her after all. Having 3 dogs, I could not afford to keep my business at River Region. I would recommend Dr. Myers to anyone but caution that she's a little pricey. Also, I was not allowed to go back with my dogs, and was charged for services that I didn't know about ahead of time. For example, one day I took my Rat Terrrier in due to pain in his neck, and as I sat in the lobby, the Dr. came out to tell me the sound I was hearing was their laser therapy machine and that she was already giving him laser therapy. This should have been an optional service but I was not allowed to make that decision before-hand and it only added to an already hefty bill. I didn't say anything that day, but the next time I went in I made sure to specifically ask them not to do anything extra without consulting me first. Again, if money is no factor, GREAT place to go. But if you are on a budget and like to know what is being done BEFORE it is done, I would not recommend.

Dr. Amy Myers at River Regions Vet Services is just the Bomb!!! She is always smiling and I never have to wait long to see her. The quality of care my furry babies get there is terrific!Dr. Myers staff is wonderful and always so helpful. Ashley, her main technician, is so knowledgeable and informative. Everyone is attentive not only to my pets needs but to my needs as well.I have other family members that take their pets to River Regions Veterinary Services. I highly recommend you do so as well!!!!!!

You get what you pay for.Dr. Amy is not the cheapest but she’s the best.If your happy place is the K-mart sales racks or if you’re wearing duct-taped flip flops for the second year running, then find yourself a budget vet who doesn’t care about your pet. River Region has taken care of my dogs for years, and the only complaint I have is that Dr. Amy won’t scratch behind my ears too.

Dr Myers and her staff at RIver Region Veterinary Services have been taking care of my dogs (babies) for almost 9 years. I can not say enough about how amazing Dr Myers is! You can't fake how much she truly cares for animals and has their best interest in mind. I have been through everything from new puppy care, stomach trouble, spay and neuter to kidney disease and having to let go of one of my babies. Dr Myers would not give up on my dog with a rear condition, even calling Auburn several times to confer with other veterinaries. When it was time to let my baby go she was so caring and hugged me while i cried, reassuring me that we had done all we could. Just this past weekend one of my babies had to be hospitalized at another clinic with 24 hour care, Dr Myers called the staff there to make sure they had all the information on my dog as well as called me to check in. Above and beyond, even on her weekend off. Dr Myers will always be straight with you about your pet. Yes, some people don't like this but i would much rather have a doctor, people or animal, tell me the truth no matter how hard it is to hear. I respect this about her. As an owner of two fat Beagles i have gotten several talks on their weight. But i know this is because she cares about my dogs and does not want to see them suffer with what can happen to them from being obese. It is not you are wrong and i am right, it is lets work together to help your dogs. It is not just my husband and i that love Dr Myers and her staff, it is also my dogs that love their vet!

Visited with our pug for the first time after moving to this area. Dr. Myers took the time to explain needed treatment and made recommendations to consider. She was mindful of costs and wasn't "pushing products." She and her staff were pleasant and professional! I'm glad to have found a veterinarian we can trust so close to home! Definitely would recommend!

Great service, staff, and care. I loved that the vet fully explained the options, costs and her recommendation. My dog is doing so much better now that allergies aren't bothering him. The recommended shot totally took care of the problem. They also have grooming services and always take extra care not to get water in my dog's ears since he's prone to ear infections.

Dr. Myers and her staff have taken great care of our pets. We were out of town when my dog had a medical emergency and Dr. Myers took excellent care of her in our absence, and even took momma dog and all 5 puppies to her house until I could have my new pet sitter pick them up from her that evening. She has gone above and beyond for us and we love and trust the care she provides.It’s unfortunate to see some of the negative comments on here by disgruntled patients. Please form your own opinion by giving this office a call for your pets needs.

I had a horrible experience with this veterinarian today! Dr Myers was most unprofessional during my visit and I am appalled at her behavior. I was berated and yelled at while Dr Myers was examining my pet this morning and this occurred in front of her staff! I was paying for the pet exam not the attitude and personal feelings. Needless to say, this will be the last time I use Dr Myer's services for my pets. I have been using her since 2011 and spent plenty of money in her office. However, there are too many other qualified, competent and caring vets available in the local area to put up with this. I chose her because she is in my community and close to my home. I wish I had done a better job at researching her; if I had, I would have found other reviews similar to mine which would have led me in another direction. I am a responsible pet owner and care for my pets like they are my children. I would never knowingly do anything to cause discomfort or harm to my pets. There was absolutely no need for her conduct today. Now I understand why there are flyers in her office requesting her clients to leave reviews on specific sites (this is one of them) to counter the bad reviews she has received in the past. Please, please do your own research before selecting Dr Myers as your vet. I don't recommend her under any conditions.

Dr Myers and her staff are absolutely amazing! They always greet my fur babies by name. They have been there for me for routine treatments all the way to very serious emergencies. I recommend this facility to my friends all the time. There are two veterinarians closer to my home and I couldn’t imagine not using Dr. Meyers. River Region Vet Rocks!

We have been clients of River Region Veterinary for well over 5 years. Our children are grown and our pets are our children.It is such a blessing to have an animal lover like Amy to care for them. We have had many various veterinary hurdles over the years but she was always there for us and treated our babies like they were hers. We have had surgeries which were critical and she spent the night with them when we could not, we had overnight emergencies and she met us at the office before we could get there and stayed with us, we had difficulties giving medications and caring for one of our pets after a surgery and her caring and compassionate staff came to our home to help us, when we and our grown children have lost pets we were called and sent loving and understanding letters. We are older and have had many vets over the years, but no where have we received this level of not only professional and intuitive veterinary care but genuine love and care. Thank You so much for being such an important part of our family.

Dr. Myers, the veterinarian, is AMAZING! She has been taking care of allcof my animals since she opened her clinic. She has saved my English Bulldog's life mamy times! The staff, even though has changed, is still extremely nice. They have a doggy daycare that you can take your dog to while you are at work. I can't stress how amazing this place is. And comparatively pricing, she may not be the cheapest (even though you get what you pay for anyway, but she is certainly cheaper than a lot of other vets! Thank you Dr. Myers, for everything!

I started taking my pups here a couple months ago. It has been a great experience since. I am a first Ike dog owner and this place has made it so easy. We rescued a dog and she is in perfect health. I recently rescued another puppy who looked like he was left for dead. He had all types of worms and just poor health. This vet has helped me get my puppy healthy and they call often to check on his health. I love boarding them here as well!
