Tammy Burkhalter (an owner) is so outgoing and always happy to listen to what you have to say when describing exactly what you need! It's kinda fun to go just to be around her energy, exuberance and humor!!Although I don't know him as well, Randy Burkhalter, her husband, (owner) has been super helpful each time I've needed anything in the store.Recommend them Highly for your animal, farm and the attached Produce Market, Mama's Produce, needs!

Mama's Produce was why I went. Was driving and heard her advertising on 93.1 about watermelons. They had the best I found this year. I got 7 before she ran out because of the season. I'll definitely be going back.

I visited today and talked with Randy to get his advice and direction on how to tackle weed and feed issues for my lawn. Randy took me through the entire process and spent at least 30 minutes with me sharing his personal advice and years of experience with me.He educated me on proper timing and mixture of types of fertilizer used for our local lawns and soil. Randy put together a package of fertilizer as well as herbicides that will get me started in the right direction.You could go to big box stores or order things online and guess if things are going to work out. But Randy provides a personal perspective and a custom tailored approach to caring for your lawn.I'm happy that I stopped in today and I will be a repeat customer here.

Pratville Farm Center has a wide variety of farm equipment and farm animals feed. They also have locally grown produce during the time of the year that the produce comes into season.The staff there is very informative as well as friendly.

Very nice and Friendly people. They helped us and had the answers to our questions about when and how to plant vegetables in our garden . Our little kids wanted to see the turkeys and chickens so they took us to the back and let my kids see them. Very nice people. They went above and beyond to help us and answer our questions. Thank yall

There is one employee that needs to be told how to wear clean clothes. He needs a little work on his hygiene. Not sure of his name but he's tall with dark hair. His appearance leaves a little to be desired. Otherwise the place is nice

Randy and Eddy do an amazing job and take good care of their customers. They have great products to offer and are very kind and helpful. I recommend them for all your farming needs for dog food cat food bird feed cattle feed and horse feed. They sell just about everything you need for your animals. Always ask for Eddy, Randy and Steve when you need anything.

I’ve been using this place ever since moving to prattville(going on 3 years) and never had any issues up until today. With that being said, the old man has also never been there until today. He is extremely rude and makes out of the way comments that are completely unnecessary even without any interaction with him whatsoever. I will give this place absolutely no business from now on. I try to shop local whenever possible to help stimulate the local economy and local businesses. If only I could take back the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent there and give it to anyone else! Do they have good products? Yes. Do they have good prices? Yes. Do they have good customer service? Most of the time. Have they permanently lost a customer? ABSOLUTELY!

I was referred to this place , not knowing anything about what I needed to start a tomato garden and these guys very extremely knowledgeable and professional. Not only did they give me what I needed and loaded it for me but the gentleman took the time to teach me why I needed a certain fertilizer etc. I will definitely be back to bring them some of the harvest. Was just in Prattville farm center and I have to say they have the friendliest staff. I am new to raising chicks and I am trying to make sure these babies are well cared for. They didn't push me to buy things I don't need and bonus they had the meal worms I been wanting to try. Prices are exceptional and yes I price shop. Grabbed some new veggie seeds to try as well. I will be back.

This store absolutely blew us away, very knowledgeable, very kind. Really helped us, these 2 families are a happy and have a new place for everything for our animals. Love this place !! Got me some very healthy tomato plants and talked to some cute baby turkeys. I have come here for years to get everything I needed to keep my horses healthy and happy..including great advice. Would refer them to everyone.
