The staff and veterinarians at Cobbs Ford are wonderful. Our blue heeler was very uncomfortable and could not urinate. They ran blood work and emptied his bladder to find crystals and blood. They did x-rays to find a lot of irritation and stones in his bladder. He spent 2 days recovering at the vet after having 50 stones surgically removed! They kept our boy comfortable the whole time. I am so thankful for the staff and veterinarians at Cobbs Ford. If you are in need of great pet health care I would suggest Cobbs Ford veterinarians. They are open for emergency care and regular visits. Our dog loved the staff there but would not eat without us so they allowed us to visit him and feed him. thank goodness they did because this was the only time he would eat. We were so happy to see him during his stay and he was so happy to see us. The team at Cobbs Ford did an amazing job with him and I can't express enough how greatful I am to have our boy home again. Over night staff was also gentle and kind and I am so thankful for them, it's so hard not having your pets home but they really did an amazing job. I did not worry about our dog while he was in their care, he seemed to love the staff and they truly seemed to love him. Pets need people like the team at Cobbs Ford, thank you!

I am semi happy with this vet. They didnt seem to be very observant of my pets issues, they are very busy and dont return calls in a timely manner. They take your pet to the back for everything and different techs come in with different answers to questions. Doesn't seem like a very organized place or very caring for your pet. In addition I had to wait about 45 min for each scheduled appointment before someone came in to see my pet. My time is valuable too

Very inconsistent care. They won't see their own patients on an urgent care basis, even when they are open. They try to add expensive unnecessary diagnostics to visits. Vets don't attempt to know your pets.

Over priced, bad service. Wanted to charge extra for walking in with a sick dog. Arrived 15 minutes late for apt and was asked to reschedule after I took off work, drove 45 minutes and spent over $1000 for their services the prior week. Will not be back

Kind front desk at times, but worst clinic overall. Zero stars if I could. Dr. Now? Noe? overlooked ringworm on my kitten which then transferred to my other kitten & me. Another vet refused to prescribe oral medication (unless they did blood work on my HEALTHY kittens) so we had to settle for sulfur lime dip. Multiple dips & two months later we’re still waiting for my other kitten to be cleared.I question if the vets confidently know what they’re doing? They didn’t even tell me I had to deep clean my entire house & quarantine my kittens.Had they caught it when we first brought them in I wouldn’t still be dealing with ringworm on my own body & isolating my poor kittens. They neglect to call you back when they say they will.Icing on the cake is they include medical exams without being transparent & telling you up front that result in extra charges.Will be going to any other clinic in the future.

We spent $170 and given the chance to do it again, I would. Even for double the money. We drove an hour to show up at ONE AM with a BUNNY we thought was dying of GI Stasis. (Think really bad gas and intestinal blockage.) it turned out to be a parasite from the awful pet store we rescued her from, but the vet was able to rule out GI Stasis before even doing a fecal. We were given the meds we needed to get her better, the exam, her medicine, extra syringes for her medicine and water, along with the nurse sexing her and giving us a little bit of hay for the long ride home. FOR $170. I couldn’t be happier. ❤️

Amazing staff and doctors! A place where you can feel the love and care of the staff! DR Coffey has always gone above and beyond for my pets! Dr Moses did an amazing spay on one of them too!! Dr Wyatt helped treat them for a nasty parasite they had for a HOT minute All the vets here Dr Gamper And Dr Now are all amazing and very caring making sure your pet gets the proper care they need.

There is this young girl named Theresa Gray who works there. She is the hardest worker and puts so much care into what she does and all the animals that stay there. She is super attractive, and I'm blessed to be married to her for the last 15 years!

Very disappointed! This is our primary Vet and we have had a boarding reservation for months for Thanksgiving 2022. We are leaving today for a trip to Charlotte. We have talked to boarding multiple time to confirm the drop off and pick up days. We get here today at 12:02 and the building is empty and a sign on the door closed for training for two hours . We were certainly not aware of this. This has made us late for our flights and completely messes up our trip. Someone should have mentioned this the several times that we have spoken with someone about this reservation. Even if this is something you regularly do, the week of a holiday probably isn’t the best idea. And again if we had know ahead of time we would have made different plans.

*This review is for the grooming services*We take our dog here for pet care. The vet does a good job. We had also been taking him there for grooming as well. We loved the way he looked when he was groomed by the folks there. It was a reasonable price and he did not have to stay there all day. However, they recently changed the policy and are requiring a influenza shot (~$30) and a fecal matter test (~$30) every six months. This makes a grooming appointment over $100 at times! No other groomer requires this or has required this in our past. It seems like a complete money grab to me and should be changed back to the way it was before. This policy applies to those that get their vet care there or not.

Yesterday our 15 yo fur baby had a massive seizure. We brought him to Cobbs Ford. The staff was amazing. Dr Wyatt kept us updated, explained our options, and was very compassionate.She really helped us through our time of sorrow. I will never forget how well she treated us and our fur baby.

**Update to post below** A while after I posted this I actually discovered that not only were Tobey's ears matted his tail was too. If you choose to you Cobbs Ford for grooming make sure to check you pup before you pay them! You dog may look fine but upon closer inspection the job may not done properly! I've never had to check before. I guess this is what we get for assuming!I could not be more disappointed! I searched for an all in one clinic that I could take my doodle to for grooming, boarding and vet services. I wanted him to be familiar with the place and to have all his records in one place for ease of anything that may come up. I was very pleased and the staff was very helpful and friendly at all times...until there was a problem. When I called to get a groom I was asked if the person that did the groom last time was ok. I said "no, lets try someone else. Tobey's ears have been matted the last few times I've picked him up after a groom." She responded with, 'I don't have anyone else." I asked if they had only one groomer and she said no, I have 2 but the other one only does small dogs. I asked if this person had been doing Tobey all along and she said no, the previous groomer is out on maternity leave. That was it. No apology, no regrets. Just take it or leave it. I wasn't sure what to say so I asked for a manager. She, Erica, said she was a manager. Still nothing. I told her I was very surprised at her attitude and that I was just surprised. She asked me what I wanted her to do. She then proceeded to tell me that I could take pictures and send them to her and she could talk to the groomer and they would... and I quote... "see if they could fix his ears". What? First, why do you need pictures? And what if you can't 'fix' his ears...and is there a possibility that they can't be fixed? So unfortunate. And I don't know who reads these but if you look at the records you will see that I have been very consistent in bringing in Tobey for care. You will also see that his ears had gotten so bad because he had been boarded with you for a week! I am also very sad that this didn't work out. The business concept is great but the customer service when there is an issue is NOT.

I couldn’t recommend this clinic enough even if I tried. Dr. Gamper and his wonderful staff went above and beyond every expectation we could have had. We went over the weekend for an emergency situation with our cat, Zeke, and they took us right in and gave him the best care we could have hoped for. They took the time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and what our options were. Not only did they provide top tier care for Zeke but they also took care of us. They called us with updates, let us call them at any hour to check on him as he stayed overnight at their clinic, and also let us bring him back in when we had a concern. Truly, thank you for not only taking care of him, but also saving his life.-Stormy E.

Never had a bad experience here. Very friendly staff, and my dogs appreciate the attention. They know and remember your dogs; we ran into one vet tech at an emergency clinic in Birmingham who used to work here, and she recognized our dog!All the vets we've seen are good, but when scheduling you can be accommodated if you are more comfortable seeing the same particular vet.It is a little pricey.

I had an emergency with my puppy in the afternoon hours, he was vomiting and had severe diarrhea. After they ran a few test it came back that he had Parvo. The staff was SO amazing and helpful beyond words! My sweet baby is home now and doing much much better! If you are looking for a place that will treat your pet as if it were their own this is the place to go! I cannot say enough good things about them! The prices are very fair and they do all they can to make sure it fits your budget! Thank you guys for being outstanding!!

Dr. Coffey is a horrible veterinarian. After hours of waiting on her response and hundreds of dollars later she says that she can’t read the radiographs because of gas in his colon. So, I asked if she could massage his abdomen and retake the radiographs. She responded that there would be another charge for wasting her time and her techs’ time and that has to be paid for. This woman is a hot head if she’s there I would recommend you see someone else or go to another vet. My dog is sick and I don’t have a clue about what’s wrong with him all because doctor Coffey couldn’t read the radiographs.

Had to have my little Gracie who was 12 years old and developed respiratory complications from lung cancer euthanized. Everyone was so sweet and kind from the phone, to the front desk, to the vet tech to the veterinarian. So compassionate and made the experience easier. One of my other dogs Jazzy is 11 has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and enlarged heart which they are treating. I couldn’t ask for better care. Great place to take your animals.

I took my new puppy sky here for her shots and to talk about several things like having her fixed and flea medication as well as micro chipping. They were wonderful. Didn't take long to schedule an appointment with them and the veterinarian took her time talking to me and explaining pros and cons of different things. Plus they didn't over charge me and actually charged me less than most places would have charged near me. Will definitely be our permanent vet from now on.

And though we had no choice due to the extended circumstances, they were able to aid us with the decision we made with kindness. Thanks to the staff during the holidays and their professionalism they provided to not only comfort us but humanely taking care of our pet. I was in the area for a short visit and they made an exception to allow me to keep my dog in doggy daycare while I was at work and also completed a UK pet health certificate for me so that I could ship her to the United Kingdom. I’m super happy with my experience today. Thankful for the COVID precautions taken by staff members. Even though I didn’t actually meet her Dr. Coffey was excellent. She didn’t make me feel like a bad pet parent when I had to admit there were some things I couldn’t afford and that means a lot.

This is by far the best vet I have been too. I have a little 14 pound Dachshund that got attacked by two golden retrievers and they saved his life. We called the emergency part of the clinic because it was after hours and by the time we got there, they were waiting with the door open for me to run in and they took him back immediately. He only had about a 50% chance to live because he was hurt so badly. He had 4 broken ribs, all the muscle on one side of his body was torn completely up and they were unsure of what else could be wrong. They did emergency surgery on him immediately and 3 months later, he is my little baby again. It was a long recovery and they had him for 3 days but they were beyond phenomenal. They called me every morning and night and gave me a report. They saved my baby's life and I am forever grateful. Dr. Caver and Dr Hattaway were so patient with an upset dog mom like me. The staff is so so wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone. I wouldn't have my dog anymore, if it wasn't for them.

This is an excellent veterinary practice. I have used them for over 10 years. Sadly, my most recent interaction with them ended with the euthanasia of a beloved pet. They did all they could to find a solution that would provide her with an acceptable quality of life. I was treated very well by the staff. They are extremely compassionate as well as professional.

What an amazing place. It was time to put our Sadie down. Thankfully they were open at 10pm on a Saturday night. They were amazing in our time of need. This is a positively amazing clinic. I've driven by it countless times, however, when our regular vet couldn't fit us in last second necessity turned into fortune by going to Cobbs Ford Pet Clinic. The staff treated myself and the animal I brought in with a certain kindness and compassion that is hard to find today. We will be back with our other animals from here on out to include boarding.BIG shout out to Dr. St James for her enormous heart!!! If she is your Vet your pet could not be in better hands.Thanks again to all for being so dedicated and truly caring for the animals that in your door.

Had an issue with our dog of 17 yrs, my wife and daughter had to set in waiting room for an emergency and all they did is do an ear culture, even though the dog was showing signs of a stroke and was in pain. Then a very rude Dr. Hardaway had the gal to ask my daughter when this dog had a bath and treated my wife and daughter with disrespect, then said she would need to pay 500 dollars before they could see the dog.. Understand this I am a 30 + yr veteran station up north that dog has always been babied and seen my doctors all his life, I thought the experience at this vet office was appalling and unprofessional, the money was no option for GOD has granted us well in our careers but the professional attitude was lacking by a mile at this clinic . On a good note a good friend who oversees the Veterinarian license for the state advise me of ARK in Millbrook, wow what a GOD sent total opposite, very nice and profession, vet took dog back right away and did need to pay up front till they found the problem. Ark will get all my families business from now on.
