For the most part, I've had good service every time. I've come in this store except for maybe one time. 2 years ago, the only thing I don't agree with is. Unlike Lowe's Walmart and home depot, they don't have a guarantee on there. Bonnie plants purchased a tomato plant and it died within a few days. And there was nothing they would do about it, they wouldn't exchange it.Where is the other stores?You get your money back or you get a new plant.Other than the net I have no problems with the store or any of the staff

This place is great. They carry so many more items than I expected. I found everything I needed and the staff was very helpful. The prices were also very reasonable.

They have a great variety of things here. They also have great prices! I bought an outside table and chairs set for about $120. It was a set made out of iron.

I came here for the first time today after going to 5 or 6 different stores (target, tj maxx, rack room shoes, dicks, walmart) looking for good rainboots that will last at my job. I finally drove 20 minutes out of my way to come here. I was very happy with my experience, and even got a couple pairs of rain boots on clearance! Customer service was terrific as well.

I get chicken food at tractor supply. You can get treats, food, and toys for different kinds of pets. They have tools, seeds, plants, etc. for garden; baby chickens for sale inside the store. Store has closes and shoes for adults and kids, mostly like a work kind of clothes for farm or garden.

I have always enjoyed going to Tractor Supply. Walk in and you go back in time and think you are at the general store in the old West.And to top it off, the service is wonderful! Today, I had the pleasure of Will as my helpful associate. Wearing a smile( and clothes) Will was able to walk right to the product I needed, explained the pricing, and the take the items off the top shelf storage area so I didn't have to hurt myself . He was very thorough and said they had another special I might be interested in, but I didn't need to spend any more money.I told him I would look for him when I came back.Everything you need is here. Loved the experience!

I honestly would give 10 stars to Tractor Supply in Montevallo Al. We are in the several times a week. The staff is truly AMAZING!!!! Cris ,T and Will are so helpful and friendly. Someone always helps load the heavy feed bags for me even with out asking. The store is always well stocked and extremely clean!!!! I highly recommend visiting. We have loved going in and getting new chicks and garden supplies. Walking through the doors you feel very welcome even if they are very busy. Again 10 stars. Thank you Tractor Supply for creating a wonderful environment to shop in.

Staff was very helpful when I needed a certain brand of horse feed-which was not on display but they located some in the back. Nice gentleman insisted on loading it up for and putting it in my truck for me- Thanks!

I hope that those of you shopping at Tractor Supply in Montevallo realize that the manager is telling lies about those employees who have left recently. Tractor management has no respect for their employees and feel them with empty promises. The manager who is a joke shows up for work when the mood strikes him and locks himself in his office stressed and does nothing and blames the employee for his failures as a store manager. He had several excellent people that he and upper management pushed out. Tractor supply doesn’t even deserve one star.

Incompetent managers! They advertise that they fill up propane tanks, but nobody is certified to do so.Employees are good people, but they were lost and told me their manager didnt show up to work and they were understaffed.

Had a terrific time shopping there. Gear was great and believable for wilderness usage. And I fell in love with the clever and hilarious knickknacks and signage. Christmas Decorations were great as well. Plenty of deservedly high recommendations about Tractor Supply that I've heard. And I can vouch for every last one including Customer Service!👍B.W.

Was going to run in at 8:45 pm to grab something (a singular item that I knew the location of), the employees decided to lock the doors before they close at 9 pm. The employee at the front made direct eye contact with me and gave an "I'm sorry" look, well I'm sorry too because now I have to drive all the way to Alabaster because you decided to close early. Will not be returning to this location.

They had a nice selection of pet products and the staff was very helpful. However when I called to find out if they had a specific pet medicine before I drove over 30 miles, the girl assured me they did. They did not and have never carried it. Seems she assumed it. Not really sure if I will go back or not simply because of this.

Sales associates with bad attitudes, if you don't wanna work or have no people skills maybe look for a different career path, like no offense to these people but .... look into the pet walking industry, it may be more suitable for the skills that Tractor Supply Sales Associates obtain

Never had a problem at any location I've visited. I'm not saying there aren't any encountered, just hasn't been part of my experience. It's my go to for my dogs food. They offer high protein higher quality feed. This time of year they usually have baby chicks for sale

Love having a TSC in my town. They carry the good pet products others don't. Not to mention wild bird seed and feeders. Like getting my propane there also because it is at a much better price. Just sometimes have a problem having someone there that's allowed to pump it at the times that were able to go by there. Propane is at a much better price there. And I love the fact that I can take my dog in and she loves it also. They're always so friendly to her! That alone is worth five stars in my book!

Thanks to Tractor Supply my pets have the best life! I can get healthy dog food, entertaining dog toys, quality collars and leashes, delicious treats, sturdy crates, comfy beds, secure kennels, functional dog houses, durable food and water bowls, as well as training tools, fencing and even vaccines and a once a month vet clinic! And the best part is that my dogs can come with me to pick out what they want next! I'd rather go to Trackor Supply than any other box store for my pack's wants and needs!

Hate to say it but I had to turn down offering my business to this location. I was next in line to check out and once the associate Scott finished up with his current customer he just left the register. I’m sure it was to help load that customer, but nothing was communicated to me. I would have been fine waiting if he could have just acknowledged me as a waiting customer and letting me know he was about to step out. There was another cashier lane available but instead I turned around, put my products back on the shelf, and walked out without a purchase. Poor customer service

Good place to get some items that you can't find anywhere else (farm stuff, feed, chicken coops, etc.) But they really lack customer service. Lead cashier is knowledgable and helpful, but other staff is not trained on basic stuff (exchanges, refunds). Went in for some hand warmers recently and when I asked about where they may be to a young associate, he had a blank look, no answers. Manager type finally barked from another aisle "We dont sell those" then overheard him tell other manager type he had just tossed the display recently. Would have been easy enough to say "Sorry were out right now" instead of acting like my request for help was interrupting his important duties of walking around the store. Just an attitude toward a customer that irked me the most, not that they were out of hand warmers.

The store was well stocked and orderly; however, only two team members were wearing masks out of the four I saw. Furthermore, the two staff wearing masks wore them below the nose with one completely removing his while speaking with my husband. Most customers were not wearing masks at all with out social distancing either. In conclusion, while you may find what you need for your yard, homestead, or animals, you will be coming here at the possible risk to your health during this time.

I came in with a coconut and a shriveled will. I was utterly helpless. I asked an employee if they had the proper equipment to get into a coconut without breaking it, my attempts at other stores to acquire the right hardware were futile. With enthusiasm, she led me to a section of amazing tools, perfect for completing my task. Soon, 4 more employees appeared, all working tirelessly to help me with my venture. With their help, I acquired the proper equipment and dove head first into an experience that would change my life. I cannot express my gratitude enough, thank you for freeing my soul. Come here if you want to ascend beyond the heavens.

As a new tractor owner who needs to care for a 22 acre farm, this place is wonderful. They have everything I need from fencing to tools to clothing, etc. The staff is very helpful and do their best to answer my questions. I hate to say it, but I think Tractor Supply will be getting a lot of money from me in the near future.

Had feed and compressed bales all through the walk ways. I just had surgery and cannot life more than 10lbs. I couldn't even get my buggy through so I imagine anyone in a wheelchair would have alot of difficulty as well. When I spoke to the manager about it he said they try their hardest to keep everything clean and stacked right. The two girls up at the front having a chatter session could have been doing work instead of talking. One ringing people up and the other just sitting behind a closed register.

Nice location nice staff. Went in to replace a POS and receipt printer. I saw how the manager Scott and associate Jennifer dealt with the customers and it was awesome. The art of customer service is no more.

Raised on a farm and it's not your normal Feed and Seed store. If you're in a bind sure. But there's many times I've walked in and walked out with nothing. And buying propane is a hassle. But they have a lot of scented candles, completely what you go to a Farm Center to buy.
