This is our local Walmart. It's OK in comparison to others that are closer to interstates. They have better produce, better choice. There is a better selection of products. The shelves are always stocked. I shop at home, but if out of town I shop there, it's so much better.

The new remodel looks great. I still have difficulty with selection and frequent out of stock merchandise. Pick up service is easy, prompt and the employees are very polite and respectful.

Found items there that our home store dept. clerk said they never sold when I bought several of the items from our store last year before the store was remodeled. Several people have told me they whish our store would restock the items!

Don't know why they remodeled this walmart...... two days in a row either I couldn't find anyone to help me or if I did find someone they had an Attitude. Not to mention customer service being closed the day after Thanksgiving

It's with an immense sense of disappointment that I pen down my recent experience at the Walmart in Monroeville, AL, a visit that was neither pleasant nor productive due to a series of unsettling observations that speak volumes of the store's disregard for basic hygiene and customer satisfaction.Firstly, the general cleanliness of the store was reprehensibly poor. Upon entering, it was immediately noticeable that the cleanliness standards were not up to par with what one would expect from a renowned chain like Walmart. Floors that have seen better days were littered with debris, dust bunnies congregated in corners as if in secret meetings, and unattended spills that were not only unsightly but hazardous to the unsuspecting shopper. The neglectful state of the store presented a dismal environment that was neither welcoming nor conducive to a comfortable shopping experience.Navigating through the aisles felt more like an obstacle course than a leisurely shopping trip. Disorganization reigned supreme from the groceries to the apparel sections. Products were not in their designated areas, making it a Herculean task to locate basic necessities. Price tags were often mismatched, leading to confusion and frustration at the checkouts. Items were strewn about carelessly, some even trampled underfoot, reflecting a chaotic atmosphere that seemed to have consumed any known form of systematic arrangement.However, the pinnacle of this disheartening visit was the appalling condition of the restrooms. To say they were neglected would be a gross understatement. The restrooms were in such a deplorable state, it raised concerns over the potential health hazards festering in every corner. The stench that greeted anyone who dared enter was overwhelming and unbearable. Basic amenities like toilet paper and soap were woefully depleted, or entirely absent, and the facilities were vandalized, with trash bins overflowing and surfaces smeared with substances one could only hope to never encounter.Moreover, it was evident that the maintenance schedule (if one exists) was not being adhered to, as evidenced by the layers of grime and unchecked filth that had accumulated. It was a horrifying realization that such a well-known retail giant could permit its standards to fall to such lows.In conclusion, the Walmart at Monroeville, AL, has severely tarnished the corporation's reputation through its apparent disdain for cleanliness, organization, and basic customer service standards. Shoppers rely on Walmart for its promise of convenience and quality at affordable prices. Still, this branch has failed its customer base profoundly. Urgent measures need to be implemented to rectify these issues that not only impact the shopping experience but also pose serious questions regarding the health and safety protocols followed at this establishment. Until significant improvements are observed, I find myself compelled to seek alternatives for my shopping needs.

Never any cashiers and I refuse doing the self checkout because they don't pay be as a cashier so I'm not ever going to do a cashier's job so a billion dollar company can get richer!!!!

My young daughter and I stopped at this location while in town for a sporting event. Was in the store 15 minutes and heard one associate say some form of the F bomb, loud enough to hear 5 aisles away, at least 25 times..pretty much every other word. She was working alongside a supervisor who spoke with the same volume and equal profanity. I guess this store just employs the pure trash of the community and doesn't care how unprofessional they are. Plain inexcusable that a person can't shop without being exposed to such constant vulgarity.

Has just about everything besides cashier's everything has went to self check-out & sorry but if I wanted to be a cashier I would have went to work as one.. that is just ridiculous & not to mention it taking people's jobs

Very well lit, parking was ample, greeters and associates had masks, and were still kind and nice to deal with.. all items were well stocked.Update, 02/14/22- while the service is still nice, and the personnel are polite, their are holes in the stocking.. it must be supply chain, as the employees are always moving product onto shelves.. still, a great place to shop; especially with inflation raising costs, affecting even this small paradise..04/20- Monday and Tuesday are big re stocking days.. Wednesday had shelves full and packed.. self check out is still a breeze to get thru store; although lines were not bad, and store was not overly crowded..06/22- excellent. Well re stocked on most all items; including seasonal.. very well kept up and clean as well, have been a regular shopper for almost a year at this location, and the only thing lacking is a vision center, and the automotive service center..Still, best little Walmart near me; I'll keep shopping..09/02- still a Walmart.. very well kept up; not as well stocked as Pensacola(could be supply lines, or just not as big and busy as Pace, FL), but still most everything on the shelf(Except never can I find(save twice In a year) English toasting bread), and as affordable as possible..04/19/23- stocking occurs as soon as truck is off loaded. Associates always busy, but polite, and willing to assist. Store was clean, and deli was fresh. Found most everything looked for, except jello cups, but was not critical item..07.02.23- Monroeville Walmart is getting a complete remodel inside. New layout, New polished floors, wider and more open aisles and sections. I would say they are about 45 to 65 percent done.. I will add photos next update..10.01.23 - Monroeville is almost finished with their remodel..I did the pre order and pick up today to save time ( and money ).. was easy, quick, and prompt.. the associates were very polite..12.02 - store renovation complete. Seems more open and up to date; trendy even, but I am just wondering if stocking items were cut, and if now regional pricing will make locals partially pay for the new age look..

I don't even know where to start. I stopped at this location on my way through town for work. Had to get some groceries and decided to take a look through the electronics section. I found a game that was marked on clearance for $9. There was 3 copies. I asked the lady to get me two copies of it from the case. She rang it up and told me that the $9 price was wrong. It was $29.99. So I said, well no, the rag says that it's THAT game. So after about 30 minutes of waiting, the manager eventually showed up. She told me that they would not honor the price of a mistake. Which I've never heard of in my entire life. I told her that they had to legally honor whatever price was displayed, no matter if it was a mistake or not. So she told me that Walmart will only give you one item if there's a price mistake. So I said fine, I'll take one copy. Then She tried to lie to me and gaslight me into thinking the game I picked up wasn't the game that's $9. Little did She know, I had already taken a picture of the clearance tag. And it matched the UPC exactly. I pointed that out, so she grab the tag from it counter and torn it up ans said, "No, that's the wrong game. Why do these white people come up in here trying to get deals?". As you can probably imagine, I was blown away by what she just said to me. So I just said, just honor the price on one and I'll get out of here. She said, "No, the best I'll do is 10% off the regular price. So I pulled out my phone and dialed Walmart corporate. So then she decided to honor the price that THEY put on it. Then when I was leaving, she said F You. Unacceptable!!!

99% of employees are great but they all show the signs of corporate over reach in their daily lives. The cult like chants and slogans forced on the employees is disturbing. The other day I heard shouting coming from about 60ft from me. Within seconds I recognized it as a forced chant in which employees were spelling out W A L M A R T. In a time when mass shootings have become common place the very last thing I personally want to hear is shouting while shopping, take it outside.It's not normal, never was, it simply cult behavior used to condition employees and it's antiquated.

Walmart pick up has gotten ridiculous!! Pulled up today and was the only one there then 3 more showed up of course the other 3 got there order before I did on top of that I sat there for 25 min after they Dispense my order, Because some things was left out.. So they sent a Girl named Kayla and she took her time going to get my 2 items.. normally I wouldn't be mad but I'm outside with no AC in 110 heat... I will not be using pick up today no more.. thanks Kayla for taking your time ...

This is the third time I have bought a condiment product from Walmart in Monroeville Alabama, that has had a seal under the cap removed. Unfortunately, when I buy these and put them in my pantry, it tends to be a few weeks until I open and notice it. Which means the receipt is gone. I just don't understand how so many products continue to be opened and then put on the show.

We did curbside pickup for the first time! It was so awesome! I got everything I picked only 1 replacement. And 1 cracked egg. But the young lady that brought out my groceries was very polite and friendly and did an excellent job.!

Employees act like it's inconvenient to help you find something. They are very rude. The pharmacy is a joke. We moved here 2 years ago and we used the pharmacy until they kept getting our prescription wrong. Now we use Monroe Drugs and they are wonderful and quick. I shop at this store cause there is no other one. At the beginning of the month we will bulk shop at the Walmart in Brewton or Atmore. They have a wider selection of products that are in stocks unlike Monroeville Walmart. I literally cringe when I go there.

I had a buggy full of groceries. I went to register 15, had a sweet lady working it. I was very pleased with how she bagged my groceries. She kept all the cold stuff together and bagged so nearly. Most of the time the things I get will have cold with other stuff, like Kool aid packs, that don't need to get wet. But, today I had a really great cashier. OP#001586

Literally pulled up and checked in sat in the reserved parking for 20 minutes and still no services. Called the number to check in today and No answer. I had to stop one of the workers to ask about my order and after 45 minutes of waiting they finally decided to bring my groceries out. When I made it in the designated area no other vehicles were they but 3 other vehicles pulled up and all were serviced and had left before I received my order

Well, it's a Wal-Mart 🤣🤣Most of the workers are nice, but some aren't. They sometimes have what you need in stock and sometimes they don't. But, where else are you going to shop? It's a small town, not many options 😕
