Literally was in self checkout had a total of four items I scanned my first two items the normal way & just scanned my last two with the scanner. After that, I placed those two items inside my bag as I’m doing so I heard a staff member behind me yelling,”you have to scan it first “ very loudly and then froze my screen to review my maneuvers. I really didn’t appreciate that it was very embarrassing and it should’ve been handled a different way. I definitely don’t like being accused of anything especially STEALING!

I usually visit this Walmart atleast once a day as I live down the street. Today I visited the store and they had a stand showing the enfamil listed for 2.47 so naturally I grabbed a can. Once I got to the register the milk scanned in at 29.86 the girl at the register was super sweet and advised that she was going to adjust the price since that’s what was on the sign she went and got another woman an older white woman from customer service (she did not have any customer service skills brtw) who was pretty dry and rude and stated I can not give her this for 2 dollars. (Honestly, she would have not been giving me anything as that’s what was quoted on the sign.) I did not want to make a fuss so I politely went and put the can back. This is very sad because Walmart has always been a brand that honors their prices especially when it was not the customers error.

This place is nice, clean and organized. Not what you would expect of your typical Walmart. They have lots of vegan and gluten-free foods which definetely surprised me. In a good way. I absolutely love it. Prices are decent too. Cashier was not friendly, no hello, how you doing, not even eye contact. But who cares, I go here for the food not for friendly costumer service after all.

Purchased a primo water dispenser at another location last week to my surprise went to throw the box out and found a coupon for a free 5 gallon bottle of water went here to redeem coupon and was told I don't know what I'm doing and they called a manager and she further said we can't honor this coupon here because they don't sell the dispensers. Manager was rude and none sympathetic at all would not recommend shopping at this location especially if needing service from management

Clean. Fresh produce. But always not enough stock. Boxes are always on the floor which not safe. Parking lot is ridiculously dangerous and needs to be maintained

This is a very good grocery store that also has pharmacy drug store. I really like their bakery items and other dessert items. Coconut cream pie is wonderful. They have plenty of good produce, I really like their fruit and vegetables. My son really likes their pizzas you can bake at home. They also have one of my favorite adult beverages, Dailys Bahama Mama frozen cocktail. Their prices are good and you usually can do quick self check out since not too busy. It's a very good local store.

Nice and clean, well organized. Don't really care for the self check out! But that's life. This is a much better store than most by far. Should be a model for Walmart to set minimum standards for all stores. .

The store and all its contents was great The only thing was the lady that checked us out did not respond to hello or how was your day or even thank you at the end of the checkout. It's no big deal she could have felt bad or tired but it's not normally like that.

So long as I have to ring out $268 in groceries I will go to one of the many competitors in the area. I don't mind ringing out a few items. But a buggy full and when you ask if they are going to go back to having a couple open for bigger purchases you get a smart *ss reply with "it ain't they fault" and I nicely replied I wasn't blaming them. There are employees all over the place yet no register open. Then when they have all 10 of self checkouts backed up they find the way to open a register.

One of my bags was left at the store. I called to see if they would hold it for me; no answer ( I called 4 times) The phone rang continuously. No one ever picked up.You would think that with only 1 cashier working, and 5 just hanging around, someone would have time to answer the phone.I guess I'll drive back over there 🙄

Shelves never have anything on them your stockers are extremely rude they get in the middle of the aisle and do not move they leave their pallets in the middle of the aisle and walk off and leave them, and you cannot get around it. Your curbside pickup people that are feeling orders are also always in the way do not move out of the way and are rude

I did not realize that Walmart associates are also part of the ABC division. Went to dinner with my wife and had one beer then stopped here for a case of beer for our home and because the associate smelled beer on me in the self checkout checking my ID they refused to sell it. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this in my life, I would understand if I was falling down drunk but this wasn’t the case. Will never be back to this store, also good luck calling this place because they don’t answer.

Very clean and we'll maintained the employees are super friendly and seem to enjoy being there rhe deli was well stocked and the food looked great the meat was organized and looked fresh and the produce was amazing. It's always nice to go in a store seeing employees bustling and working and not a skelton crew. Employees were busy but still stopping to say good morning how can I help you. Kudos to management for running a great store!! My new favorite market!! Even though I pass 2 more to come here will do it ever time!

Yall this Walmart is pathetic. Basically if you are white don't come here, it's clear that white people aren't welcome. The staff is rude and the store is a mess. The parking lot is a jungle and I hope there is never a emergency here because cars park in the emergency lane in front of the store. This store is a joke and a bad one at that. Corporate needs to step in.

Never do a pickup order from here. I went there twice and both times forgot my items. How hard can it be? Also I have yogurt they gave me that literally expired 4 days ago. Glad I checked before I gave it to my kid.

Yesterday, I stopped by Neighborhood Walmart (1970 S University Blvd Mobile AL 36609) at 6:15pm for a money order. When I walked into the store I notice one lady (customer) ahead of me and the lights was off at the money center. I asked the other customer was the center open, she stated, “I’m not sure.” I guess, since customers was starting to form up at the money center one of the employees informed us the money center was close. (and walked away) However, one of the cashiers was nice enough to ask us to wait because she already called the manager to come and help us. Chris the support manager came to the front of the store and it was clear he was not happy that he was called. In front of customers at the register and at the money center, he express some strong facial features (that included him rolling/cutting his eyes at customers) and negative body language. Then he let out a huffing noise that was loud enough for all to hear. Everybody stood in shock or disbelief of his demeanor. One customer even say out loud “Good customer service is dead.” Once, Chris enter the money center, he asked an employee in agitated voice “What do they want! I got three pallets in the back.” This was my visit to this neighborhood Walmart. Keep in mind this is the behavior of the manager.

It was ok. They were out of the Great Value frozen broccoli. I was in a hurry, so I got another brand. The self checkout attendant was a bit slow responding to the red lights flashing. I also got a money order. That cashier was fast & friendly.

Went in to return two items I purchased online. Two ladies at the door told me three to four times "we don't sell those products here"! Which I replied "I understand that but the website states they can be returned at ANY Wal-mart." They continued to tell me no. I1 of them even said she asked the manager who said no. Went to my car, called the store, spoke to the manager, who told me I absolutely can. Went back in. Waited another 20 minutes. Store manager finally came up and handled it. I will NOT be ordering online from them again!!!

I've taken my father grocery shopping here every weekend for the last 4 years. Compared to other Super/Neighborhood Walmarts I've shopped at it's by far my favorite. It's a convenient location that's always well stocked and very clean. I've never used the ladies restroom so I don't know how it's kept but my father says the men's room is always clean. There are several employees that have been here since we started coming in and they're always polite and helpful.

All they do is watch a person as if they are trying to steal something instead of focusing on their job... Half of the employees aren't friendly at all, they don't give you enough time to finish ringing things up before they say oh you didn't ring this up oh you didn't ring that up... I'm to the point I don't even want to spend my money here anymore if I'm going to be watched like I am a thief, the ones that are stealing are the ones they aren't watching... It will be a while before I return back to this location if I return back I may start going somewhere else...

The only reason they have a star is because there was no option for no stars. They are disrespectful and rude. They don't care about their customers and I will never go back to this store. My husband went in the store and purchased the wrong size pampers. I went back in 2 minutes after he made his purchase and I was told that they couldn't do the exchange until the next morning and then the customer service manager walked away from me! I called the corporate office and they didn't even apologize for her rudeness. Came back to exchange my pampers and tried to talk to the manager and he asked "So what do you want me to do?" I just walked away. A bunch of incompetent buffoons! I will never spend my money there or any other Walmart.
