This store is disgusting. It is on organized, messy and dirty. Add to that the air conditioner wasn’t working. And apparently the cashier was too stoned to move faster than a snails pace.

I shop at a lot of Dollar Generals and rather like the company. However, the store located at 7241 Moffett Road, is the WORST Dollar General I've ever been in. There's usually only one person running the whole store, that includes cashiering, putting out freight, and managing. The shelves are almost always nearly empty. However, there are pallets and pallets of freight everywhere throughout the store. It's quite disappointing when you want to run in a quick store to pick up a couple of things instead of going to a big grocery store, and you can't find anything on the shelves nor can you find an employee to help you out. Today I ran in for a couple of things, and there was four or five customers standing in line and no employee to be found. Three of the customers left their items to the side and just walked out. Me and one other person stood for a few minutes until I called out "hello?, there's customers waiting at checkout." The manager finally came out and helped us customers that decided to stay and wait. They do have a self checkout, but it's on the fritz. If they don't think they're going to be able to have a cashier available, they need at least have their self checkout working so that customers can get in and out of the store quickly without having to hunt for somebody. This store really needs some help. There's so many things going on in that store that is very disappointing for customers and is making it cause them to lose business.

Unfortunately , this is the worst location. The parking lot is always extremely nasty. Then the store is always empty. This store hasn’t been stocked in a long time! If other DG stores are able to maintain their stock to some extent, I don’t understand why this one can’t. They have random toys on racks that are placed in the front where clothes for kids used to go, not even sure anymore. The last time I was in there I came in, got what I needed and never saw any employees. Luckily the self check out was working, but how much merchandise is stollen like this?? There was one other person behind me at the self check out and we couldn’t believe that no one had come out at all! There is a bell on the door so you know when someone enters. I was in for over 19 mins as well. The staff is always busy talking to each other as well when ringing you up to where you are normally waiting while said employee holds your stuff, distracted and not scanning. I won’t be going back anymore.

useless store. says they close at 10 shuts down at 8 or 9. can’t get a single item stocked on a shelf. sad excuse for a dollar general

Decent store. Company needs to staff more people, as one person cannot do everything needed to maintain the store. Other than that, enjoyed the visit and pucked up some snacks we had forgotten to pick up elsewhere.

THIS Store has not put up merchandise in the past month Why have a sale Customers are trying to get items thereselvesSomebody is going to get hurt climbing on to metal carts. Tryed TALKING to employees they say Mgr Laura will not LISTEN to anyone maybe when they go out of buss. Go too Semmes store clean you can actually buy items without the hassle and Rude EMPLOYEES! District office NEEDS to do SOMETHING!

When I was in the store today there were about 20 people lined up to check out. Finally another lady opened another register. I always shop at this store. Sadly, not the managers fault, but corporate won't let them have the floors cleaned & waxed but maybe 2 times per yr. The store is always well stocked but the floors are nasty. This is like this in all of your stores. I worked in management of a retail chain & I know personally how much more customers will buy when they see clean shiny floors. I have seen these girls mop but it does no good because your management won't let them have the floors cleaned & waxed. It makes everything in the store look dirty. A clean well stocked store has no excuse for you not letting these managers have the floors done. Your competition has them done so why not your stores. I know this costs money but add in the cost of at least every two months to have them cleaned & waxed. It makes a customer stay later to look at not just what you came in to buy buy but to stay in longer to shop the entire store. I hear your customers talk to the cashiers about it but they say corporate won't allow them to have it done due to the cost. Just add a penny to lots of items & this will help pay for that cost. Great stores but FILTHY floors. Not the managers fault as it is corporate not wanting to let loose of the money to have each store done. Family $ & Walmart have their floors done always so why be so cheap???Costing you money in the long run.....

This visit to this particular store REALLY made me NOT want to go back. I see signs EVERYWHERE about MUDT WEAR FACE MASK. Well, when I walked in 1 manager an a cashier was stocking the shelves.. They weren't wearing a mask..NO MASK on customers and as I was approaching the register I had a customer behind me who WALKED up in MY SPACE WITH NO MASK ON. I will NOT go back into this store. They can refuse the right to serve you. People WEAR your masks PLEASE.. Respect others space..

Why can't other chains use their customer service models after DG? THEY don't just point where products are...they take me straight to it. Get this....they actually thank me when i leave. It must be a great place to work because they're always.... Every time....so friendly. Thank you DG

Only giving one star because zero isn't an option, slow incompetent staff, no one is ever at the counter. Line is always ridiculously long, due to staff members not willing to operate the other registers. Always nasty, never has stock put up!!! So I then have to go to another store anyways to obtain my items. So now I just pass this dollar general all together and go to walmart, which isn't as convenient a lot of the times.

Not what they were initially set up to be; quick & easy shopping for bargain items without the big store crowds...the lines are too too long, working one cashier. U all lost more money because of potential cx hvn to leave due to a long line. There were more than 20 people in one line, 1 cashier. Another cashier wanted to help but wasn't allowded to do so. What sense did this make? NONE! U have too many stores with not enough employees...please get back to BASICS - CUSTOMER SERVICE!

They have a good selection of inventory. The parking lot is hard to get in and out of though. The cashier was sweet she worked all through Thanksgiving with a smile.

There are like 4 different sections of chips.The parking lot and all around the building has trash everywhere. The employees were restocking and rearranging shelves and merchandise was on the dusty floor, ready to be put back on the shelves all dirty.Not going back, for sure.

Nothing stocked, only one person in the store working (very dangerous) everything in the isles needing to be put on shelves. When the old manager left the place when to h@$$!!! Cashier working was very nice!!!

Let me go ahead and warn you about buying alcohol here.If there is more than 1 of you they wanna see everyone's ID. They even want to YELL AT YOU about it from down the isle BEFORE you even get to the register.BARB IS GREAT but I cant say much for the rest of the crew that obviously need more customer service training!!Someone should tell them to ask for your ID when you get to the counter dont harass me while I'm walking through your store

One register open doing very busy time of the day. ALWAYS the store is super nasty. I don't know why the store is being neglected but it is the worst. It shows that upper Management doesn't give a care and store management is take advantage of the situation.

Because they don't stock their shelves they just leave it piled up in the isles and then you can't walk around and find what you need, needs new management and new workers that want to work not talk on the phone

This store has became horrible. The store is dirty the isle are crammed with dollys,cant find anything and the service is also slow and no help. The manager came from the semmes store and that store was just as bad. This use to be my neighborhood store. No longer!!
