This is a locally owned Mexican diner in Loxley, AL. The menu is extensive so take your time or ask your server what they recommend. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to be there. She was great, and checked on us regularly even though they were very busy. We were there Sunday for lunch, and we stopped because we noticed the parking lot was always full (usually means it's good). We were delighted that the food was so delicious and the server did such a good job for us. The food portions were huge and pleasing to the eye. As we left my husband told the hostess we would be back!

Had a delicious lunch at El Paisita Restaurant in Loxley Al. Food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Our server Jennifer was very attentive and helpful. They also have the option to order from your table via. QR code that you can scan from your table and the order goes to the kitchen. We thought that was awesome. On Cinco De Mayo we decided to try this place. It was packed and wait was about 30 minutes but it was well worth it! Kids had Virgin Pina Colada and it was so tasty. If I wasn’t driving I definitely would have had one of those with alcohol! All the food we ordered was delicious. It became my favorite in our area.

I can't say enough how great the food here is. The authentic menu isn't very big but it's one of the best around. Good fajitas, good burritos, good authentic tacos and good chilaquiles. The enchiladas Verdes are great, too. Excellent sweet tea, and efficient service for the most part. You can also ask for home made hot sauce for an extra kick. They also used to have the best mole poblano around, but I don't think the little old abuela that made it is still here. Still, it's one of the better moles in Baldwin County in my opinion.My favorite Mexican joint in south Baldwin County.Parking: Parking lot is not large but neither is the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Entry doors are difficult to open but otherwise access is easy. Parking lot is level and there are no steps.

Stopped for lunch and was very pleased. The service was quick and friendly. The salsa was flavorful and went well with the chips (I prefer a thinner chip, but that's persinal preference), and it went nicely as a condiment to my entree, fajitas The chicken fajitas were nicely seasoned without being salty or an off flavor. The onions and peppers were well cooked and served on the customary sizzling cast iron. The beans and rice were both very good with just light seasoning. I dont love a lot of salt, so this meal was very much on point. I'd rather rather a sauce than have my food over-salted. I pass through this area routinely and have found a new lunch favorite.

Update: We gave it another try on Saturday, Jan 8, and the food and service were excellent! We will be back! Adjusted the stars from 3 to 5.We went this past Sunday and the food was good, but the service was basically not existent. I will say, they started to get busy a little while after we placed our order, but I feel like the server could have checked on us in passing. I would give them another try, because of the food, since this was our first time/experience.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner. We were greeted politely and quickly brought to our table. Immediately, we were brought chips and salsa and shortly thereafter our waiter asked for our drink order. We reviewed the menu and made our choice (s)……Our waiter took our order and within a short time, our food arrived. It was brought hot and was really good. This food has not been sitting under a warmer! Our waiter refilled our glasses without asking. In short, our food, service, and hospitality were great. It’s. “Hole in the Wall” kind of place that you should not miss out on. And, when you walk in the door, look to your left on the wall, their cleanliness score is a 99. That’s awesome!

Dining in has always been a good experience but as far as take out. I Would not recommend. The first time we called in and ordered on a Wed and waited 25 additional minutes after pickup time. I decided to give them a 2nd try before a reviewToday I ordered a super burrito with shrimp and chicken. It wasnt wrapped, The chicken was over cooked, the rice and beans were dry. The food just DOES NOT TASTE FRESH today, I am disappointed. No more take out for us

I had the pick-3 plate, with a chicken flauta, chile relleno, and guacamole salad. My husband had the shrimp fajitas. It was all edible but bland and forgettable. The service was good.

Looking for some tasty and fresh Mexican food that isn't overly seasoned with fair prices? This place is for you! Added bonus? Wednesday and Sunday one of your kids will eat free with the purchase of one adult if you're a single mother like myself! For three of us, the cost was under $20!!!! Family friendly and the staff is consistent with their tables. Great service, short wait time for food, and great atmosphere!!
