Super friendly staff, very helpful and made purchase suggestions that were very helpful. I havent been a big Walgreen shopper in the past, but I must say since I downloaded the app and started being a member of their rewards program, I am loving it! As a matter of fact, I just picked up my free 8 by 10 photo! Can't beat FREE! š

All the employees here have always been nice but I would like to make a special mention to Susan who was the cashier on duty tonight. I was looking for birthday cards, and I could hear her pleasant, cheerful, and sweet voice conversing with the customers in line. She was also very patient and helpful to someone who had a little difficulty expressing themselves. I could just feel the warmth and sincerity of her voice. Every business needs a Susan.š

The pharmacy needs to hire more people. I was in line for over an hour for a vaccine appointment that I made days in advance. Everyone in line around me had also been there a very long time and the pharmacy staff never once apologized to anyone for the wait or thanked them for their patience or anything. I understand being overwhelmed at your job, but a few kind words can go a very long way and make customers more sympathetic to you.

*Note* - Read the reviews. Your high reviews started around 3-4 years ago and have been going down hill since. Within the last 7 months, you have 1-2 stars. 95% of the reviews talk about bad managers and staff - especially in the pharmacy. I see that is a pattern that perhaps higher level personnel at Walgreens need to address. But it seems they are not...because there there are multiple bad reviews for SEVEN MONTHS.The Pharmacy is a joke. I have been going to that location now for 5 months and there is always an issue. Snails pace service, very rude techs who simply do not care and bad customer service. I had witnessed it many times - but I got to experience it first hand the other day.I got an email showing my prescription was ready. I was told that the email was wrong (I am not even mad about that...things happen). But when I tried to explain to the tech the situation, she rolled her eyes at me.Some Customer Service Experience. So, I went back to the store and talked to Matt the Manager. He honestly didn't care and it showed on his face and showed in his body language. He tried to use the excuse that 'they are busy.' Wow...I didn't know that being busy was an excuse to be a jerk. I will have to use that next time at my job and see what happens...#saracsm.I will be honest, if I had the option between this location or having to travel 200 miles out of my way...I'd choose the 200 mile away location moving forward.

Made an appointment over a week ago for a vax booster and flu shot. Appointment was confirmed for 3:15. It's now an hour later and they are still turning people away that are coming in to fill their scripts. Nobody has offered us an explanation or given us an estimate on when we might get the shots *that we made an appointment for*If you can't support an appointment, then don't confirm the date and time.If you can't staff 5o support your business just close down.Pharmacy staff has been nasty and condescending to everybody that has come in to fill a scrip.

I was in today picking up prescriptions for a family member. There was an extremely rude woman there. The poor lady at the counter kept her cool (Anne is her name I think). But I witnessed no support for the worker behind the counter. No wonder you guys are having staffing issues. You don't back up your workers. I even asked the lady at the counter why was the rude customer not escorted out and she said she didn't know, she's use to it. If you let people act this way towards your workers you will continue to have staffing issues. I appreciate all of the pharmacy workers, but management should do a better job.

I fully understand closing early for short staffing- but why is the ānew hoursā sign on the door going into the pharmacy that only the employees use while the big sign in the waiting area between the two windows, the one right in every customers face, still says the old hours. When needing medicine for a sick kid It would be nice to actually be able to get it. Or hey when asked are you picking it back up today and are told yes, how about letting a person know that you are closing early. I literally looked for the hours while waiting on line to be sure to be here before closing ⦠yup you got it- the only sign visible is the incorrect one posted in the lobby.

*Pharmacy Review*Absolutely the WORST pharmacy I've ever had to work with. If I could give negative stars I would!My medication is out of stock EVERY single month. I've been a patient here for 3 years hoping they would understand that I'm a loyal and regular patient, but no.I called today after having a "out of stock" warning on my medication for over 2 weeks. The samples My Dr. gave me are almost gone and I was worried.I was informed that my script had run out, they had my medication ready when the script was in....Why wasn't I told this week's ago? It apparently expired on the 2nd (so after I requested a refill) and wasn't told to ask for a new one, or come get the medication when they had it in stock.They have forgotten to call or update me before. In the past I've called to check on the status or see how much longer it would be, to find out "oh! We have that! You can get it today!" š Now my Dr's office is closed and I will have to go without lifesaving medication because of them.They have severely dropped the ball here and are completely unreliable. I am steering clear of the place and suggest you do the same!

It doesn't matter what time of day you go to this pharmacy you have to wait an extensive amount of time. On numerous occasions I have dropped off prescriptions, been told what time they will be ready, came back 30mins to an hour after the time I was told just to give a little extra time in case and my perscription(s) still aren't ready. The last time the poor lady that helped me said she could see they were ready but the pharmacist didn't verify it before she went on meal break. I wish this place would get some help that can get the job done in a timely manner.

The employees here have always been kind to me and the store seems well stocked at all times. There arent many workers it seems so it may take a minute for someone to assist, but never terribly long.

donāt waste your time here. they always take forever and mess up your insurance. also they get annoyed when you want to use a goodrx or single care. the hours are never consistent, the customer service sucks, especially in the pharmacy. youāll have much better luck at cvs across the street or at publix! even walmart pharmacy beats this place. if iām being completely honest, none of the walgreens in huntsville are worth any of your time. I havenāt had a good experience at any of them.

Another miserable experience at the Walgreens on the corner of Mountain Gap Road and South Memorial Parkway. Usually either they don't have your medication in stock and offer to fill a "partial" which means that your going to have to pay two co-pays for the same prescription or they send you numerous voice mails and IMs telling you your prescription is ready often times when you didn't authorize them to fill it. This time was different. I went in with a coupon for a medical device and although I had a prescription for the device's products, they refuse to honor the coupon. After a brief conversation with the pharmacy manager, I turned and started to walk out. I was half way down the isle when I heard the manager yell at me "You can always go someplace else". The problem with the pharmacy was staring me in the face, it was the management. The people filling the prescriptions are probably just honest people trying to make a living however, the customer service tone is set by the management team and it's simply unacceptable. It's then that I realized why my Doctor refuses to take their phone calls. I can't wait when I get the chance to dump my Walgreens plan come this fall, it's just been a really bad experience dealing with them over the past year thankfully, it's almost over.

This place is an excellent option if you enjoy receiving the wrong prescriptions, having your time wasted, or dealing with just general incompetence. Tired of those other pesky drug stores filling the correct prescription and delivering them to you at the previously agreed upon time, switch to Walgreens and you'll never have to deal with convenience again! But do hurry, the lines are always ridiculously long and filled with angered customers, which could soon spark improvement, leaving you with the acceptable service we all so desperately avoid.

I wish I could give zero stars. This location's Pharmacy consistently gives HORRIBLE service. They are probably the slowest I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with and the employees are so incredibly RUDE!

Everyone in the pharmacy is EXTREMELY rude. Go work in a different profession if you canāt have any type of empathy. Every time I go pick up a prescription I feel like Iām inconveniencing or bothering them. Itās very discouraging. I wonāt be using this pharmacy anymore.

No reason to be hateful to the customer's. If a customer is hateful to you all keep on smiling. As the saying goes kill them with kindness. It has really went down in the past yr.

I go in at 10:05 they tell me they will get it filled for me. At 1045 I am told it wouldnāt be ready til 1140 after I have wasted my time sitting there watching people go ahead of me. I get the same prescription every month. The rude lady working the pharmacy window proceeds to argue with me. She did not tell me it would take over an hour. She also said it didnāt get put in until 1014 which is horrible because I have her the pad and had walked off by 10:05. Horrible customer serious loudly arguing with me in front of other customers. I will not be using them again this is the last time I have been coming here for 5 plus years and they have gotten worse every single time.

Hello:I hope this finds everyone well.I have been a Walgreens shopper and gotten my prescriptions from stores all over the US for years.I have never had such lacklustre service as the one at this location.To the store and Rx manager(s)Please hire more staff.Make sure they understand they are dealing with regular customers and sick patients.They should be answering callings with a thank you, my name is, and how can I help you.Instead I held for 10 minutes.. only to get the most unsympathetic, lazy, and somewhat cluess associate I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I have her name but I am sure management is well aware of this Rx associates meager and lazy waysTY.

The new AI automated refill system is horrible! Instead of just putting in a prescription number it is now making you go through every Rx on file and will not give you the "skip all" option. The one I wanted was the first one but it would have taken another 10 minutes to place the order. I finally just hung up in frustration. When I called back I had to be irate enough that the AI agent finally put me thru to the human being. The staff works hard and the automated system should serve them and the customer. Please fix this.

I came in after a bad experience with CVS across the street, Walgreens not only had the prescriptions a young man named Ben got my co-pay down from $150 to 0. I will never go back to CVS again switching all my prescriptions over here

Scheduled an appointment online for a flu shot. Waited 45 minutes for the shot. I brought in my paper work filled out, they did not acknowledge it at all and tried to get me to fill out the same piece of paper, again. Pharmacist was pleasant. But, I would rather have timely service.

I used to go here for all my prescriptions but they are impossible.For one: whomever the younger lady who works mornings is, she needs to learn how to fix her attitude. Every time I called she made me feel like an immature idiot by telling me to ātake it up with my fatherā instead of deal with it myself. (I am a grown adult by the way in my 20s)And for two: they are impossible to call without a 20 minute hold no matter how busy they are.The lack of professionalism in this place is unbelievable.

The pharmacy here is an absolute joke. Beyond slow and full of excuses. Told 1.5 hours for prescription to be ready. 7.5 hours later, still not ready. Watched them lie to another customer about her Rx being done and said they had to recount the pills, come back in a little while.

I just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff especially the cashier's who went above and beyond to make sure I could get a hard to find item that my husband needs who is an over the road truck driver to stay sanitized and safe on the road. Their random act of kindness really touched my heart and ment alot to not only me but my husband and children as well who want their daddy to be safe while doing his job. And thanks to the great cashiers he can. From the bottom of all our hearts, thank you all so very much and your thoughtfulness will not be forgotten.

Stopped in for a couple of 2-liter sodas, after checking the app and seeing they had them 2 for $4. Verified the deal by looking at the price marked on the shelf. All of the 2-liter sodas were listed as 2 for $4.What I didnāt realize was that there was a difference in prices for Dr Pepper and Coca Cola. So, when I went to pay for my 2 sodas, I was told Iād have to pay full price for each. Neither the cashier nor the manager would adjust the price so I could get my purchase for what Iād been led to believe was the cost.While the difference was only a little more than a dollar, this smacks of a classic ābait and switchā scheme to me

Spent 3 days trying to get a refill for a medicine that can't be abruptly stopped. I was told it was out of stock finally on day 2 after four phone calls. At this time I was told it'd be there the next day at 10 am. 6 pm the next day no meds in stock still!!! They didnt even call their other pharmacies to see if they had it at another location. After 15 years of loyalty, Walgreens just lost my business heading into day 4.

I went to get my medicine filled and nobody in front of me or behind and told me one or two hours when I said I was waiting after a hour said they didn't have them the next month the pharmacist she didn't have time to call Dr and ask for diagnosis code but filled them and if the next time she would not I told Dr what she said he took care of it and said if there was a problem to call him but I have switched to the one on Carol T Jones and have never waited over 15 minutes I think that the Walgreens I was using first should FIRE EVERYONE ONE IN THE PHARMACY EXCEPT BEN

Thank you... had been to other stores and didn't have what I needed for my allergies. Their staff kindly went and checked for me and had my over the counter med and held it for me. And yes the store is beautifully organized and clean and I have found the staff to be helpful in helping find whatever products I need.And their buy one get one half price sometimes great finds.
