Well here’s another business that doesn’t care about customer service anymore. The girl who was checking me out was on the phone, on a personal call with her friend the entire time. I needed to get cigarettes and this was in the photo area because there wasn’t anyone at the front. I told her I would like 2 packs, which brand and that they were the golds in shorts. She went to get them then came right back because a co-worker was getting them. He brought back the 100’s in silver…… when he asked if those were correct I told him no and repeated what I wanted. He then goes back to get them, yells across the store and holds up a pack asking if those were right. I can’t see that far so I walked towards him and then said yes. He starts to walk back and I notice he only has 1 pack. So I told him I would like 2 packs please just like I originally said twice. He then gives me a huge sigh, rolls his eyes at me and proceeds to stomp back up to the front. The girl checking me out just continues talking to her friend on the phone. When he came back I said thank you to the man and he didn’t say a word to me, don’t look at me, and then walked off. I’m really sorry you can’t tell the difference between gold and silver, 100’s or shorts, and the what 1 and 2 mean. Last I knew you’re working and being paid for your work and part of that is waiting on customers. Not my fault you had to do your job!! I will NOT be going back there…… Walgreens needs to go back over training their employees on customer service!!

Ordered a 24/36 collage photo posted online for 50%off with the Offevery coupon. Such a good deal until they cancelled my order by email and said when I called our poster machine down cause corporate doesn’t send us the proper ink for it. Plus normally when I order photos ahead of time they don’t even print them off. I paid for them!

If I could give zero stars I would!! This particular location likes to double dip with the insurance company and the patients! They bill medicaid for 90 day supplies and only give the patient 30 day supplies and then when you run out, try to make you also pay for the 60 days medicaid already paid for!!!! How about hiring store managers and pharmacists with adequate professional and customer service skills??!! How about actually resolving issues that arrise in the drive thru verses calling the police to trespass and arrest your customers. How about fix your app? How about provide proof of what medicaid paid you upon request?? How about THAT to ensure patients never run out of their medications?? I'm done with this pharmacy!!

I have been trying to get my son's medicine refilled since about the end of may. They go from its not available to it needs prior authorization. They then tell me I need to call around to other pharmacies to see if the meds is available instead of doing their actual job. The pharmacist was to call me today about his medicine but called me about how i was doing on some meds I don't even take. Then cancelled his prescription. They are not trying to fill my son's meds and with school about to start back up he needs them asap after having to go a whole summer without them. They need to fire and do a whole overhaul because there is no way a patient is supposed to be without their medication.

This is the absolute worst Walgreens Pharmacy I have ever frequented. From the Pharmacy Technicians to the actual Pharmacist, the service is rude and by all means unprofessional and unacceptable. Prescriptions are not reviewed before notifying patrons they are ready, if, they notify you when your prescription is ready. On several occasions we have received notification of filled prescriptions, only to arrive and be told the prescriptions are not only NOT filled, but the pharmacy is out of the medication. Let’s not talk about the incidents where we are told they didn’t have a medication on hand, only to get home and find SURPRISE! they did, and filled the prescription -it’s in the bag. Or, the times where we are told we had one medication filled, and SURPRISE! They filled the script with the wrong medication. Now, how is that acceptable when dealing with elderly patrons? It’s definitely an easy way to seriously hurt someone. On top of this, when the pharmacy notifies you they have made a mistake, the information is given with malice and discontent, as if the patron made the mistake. Enough people have already mentioned the pharmacy drive thru, it’s pretty obvious this also is not one of their strongest services. We have used this pharmacy for years out of convenience, which is likely the only reason anyone is still giving them any business. With three other pharmacies within a 25 mile radius, I am surprised this pharmacy is still in business. The service is deplorable. Walgreens should want to be represented better than this.

The slowest pharmacy I have ever been to... it seriously is. I've been to several different Walgreen's pharmacies over the years. Most all will greet you right away, a full line goes quickly and prescription ready in an average 20 minutes. Noooo not this one. You are lucky if your car moves once every 20 minutes. Once you do finally reach the window an hour later, it takes 10-15 minutes for anyone to greet you or come to the window. Then it's another minimum wait of 3 hours to get a script that you are told will only take 90 minutes. They will never smile or act happy to be there. I'm not sure if they are just understaffed or that horrible but after reading the reviews over the past year it's pretty clear this pharmacy needs a change.....new employees, new manager... Going to CVS across the street usually isn't an option either and they never seem to have anything in stock. It would be really nice if corporate could actually step in and do something about this. Filling a script should not have to be such a dreadful experience that takes all day.

This is the slowest, rudest and unprofessional group of people I have ever witnessed in my life. They need new management, need to get organized. I left a prescription at 1:30 pm and was told it would be ready by 3:00 pm, so when I get there at 3:30 it wasn’t ready. I had to sit for 30 more minutes before it was ready. How long does it take to put 90 pills in a bottle. They had 6 people working back there and it takes 2 1/2 hours to fill one prescription. NO I’m sorry, thank you nothing. WHY DID Walgreens close the Rite Aid or just move the people to the Walgreens I don’t know but something needs to be done at this store. I will be calling headquarters in the morning.

This is the worst Pharmacy in the country. They are RUDE SLOW AND DISRESPECTFUL!! They ignore customers and have bad attitudes with the customers. They could not read my wife's prescription correctly, that had all of her medicines clearly on the prescription and kept telling her that it was not on the script and she was trying to get medicine she needs for seizures. The tech said that it was not there and she was trying to get free pills. They finally after 2 hours of phone calls and going up there looked at the script again and saw it was on there and filled it after accusing my wife of drug seeking. Lucky for them I was not present at the time. If i could give them negative stars I would.

The pharmacy customer service is horrible. Another worker asked another employee to help assist two other customers and myself. The employee did not move. They have several workers in the back but no one is getting things done except for one person running both the drive thru and the front counter. That’s inconsiderate for her and customers. My prescription was sent over early this morning but was marked out of stock. I had to wait another 15 minutes along with waiting in line. Maybe if the customer service was better I wouldn’t mind waiting.

Editing to add that this store has not gotten any better. They don’t let you know if something is out of stock or not covered by insurance unless you call to ask why something hasn’t been filled. The pharmacy associates are unhelpful and rude, usually acting as if they are doing you a favor. I realize the pharmacy is very high volume, but I’m tired of being treated like an inconvenience.This store is way understaffed to deal with existing Walgreens customers, but once you add in the new customers from Rite Aid, this location is a zoo. I routinely wait 20-30 minutes in line to pick up prescriptions. These are items that are filled and just waiting on me, not items I am having filled at the time. Right now, I have been on hold for 18 minutes, waiting to speak to someone about a refill that was requested three days ago but hasn't been filled. Oh goodie - they just disconnected me, so I get to start all over. I miss Rite Aid.

This place is horrible.. The wait for a prescription is verrryyyy long for no reason at all. Dropped off a prescription at 2:30 and they said it would be an hour and a half (which was ok because i had an appointment to go to) came back at 4 to pick it up and waited 30 min for the to tell me it wasn’t ready and i needed to wait 15 more minutes! literally just picked it up at 5:48. it should not take over 3hrs to fill a prescription and they act like they don’t even care or apologize for the wait.. Horrible customer service, y’all need to do better. It’s ALWAYS like this and I won’t be coming back, ridiculous!

This is my experience with Walgreen's Hueytown, ALFor over 2 years some of my prescriptions are being automatically refilled. I have tried and tried to get this straight, to no avail. Also, it doesn't matter how many times I’ve said DO NOT FILL MY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR 90 DAYS. FILLING MY PRESCRIPTIONS FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS CAUSES MY DOCTOR TO QUESTION MY USE AND/OR ABUSE OF MY PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Once my address was changed in the system to reflect that I live in Louisiana when I live in Alabama and always have. I have never gotten my prescriptions filled in Louisiana. My prescriptions were automatically filled without my approval and picked up at the Hueytown Alabama location, regardless of my address showing Louisiana.Twice my medication was shorted several pills. Complaining and Reporting seems to fall on deaf ears...management doesn't give a flip! There's usually no employees at the registers. They often have the register open at the photo counter and they do not tell the customers. They could at least put up a sign. The employees always seem like they're mad at the world. They act like they're doing you a favor by checking you out. There's NO pep in they're step. It's like they're being inconvenienced by doing they're job.COMPETENCE IS NOT IN THEIR VOCABULARY!Why RiteAid was closed as opposed to closing Walgreen's is beyond reason. RiteAid was much more efficient and the employees were a lot more pleasant than Walgreen's. I NEVER HAD ONE MINUTES TROUBLE OR CONCERNS WITH RITEAID!Walgreen's needs to step it up. JUST SAY'N!!!

This location is truly horrific and completely unprofessional. Your doctor will send in your prescription, but they will claim they don’t have it. This has happened at least 4 different times now. After a very serious surgery, I couldn’t get my meds for almost 48 hours. Completely ridiculous and all staff should be replaced.

I went in this morning, the store wasn't busy at all. There was no one in the front to check out customers. I went to the pharmacy register and was ignored. Even after I ask for help, I was still ignored. I asked a second time a little more emphatically, and got a response. It'll be a little bit.I understand the struggle to hire good help. But, all someone had to do was say, I'm sorry we will be with you shortly without me asking for help.

I had an eye scratch that required an ER visit and a perscription for pain medicine and an antibiotic. I arrived 30 minutes before closing in agonizing pain as the hospital's numbing drops wore off. The pharmacist refused to fill my perscription, having just arrived from the emergency room, because he had two other patients to fill and filling mine would require him staying past closing. He turned away a suffering patient to make his off time when I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing. The narcissism and lack of care for patients is staggering and I will never patronize another Walgreen's to the best of my ability.

My daughter is a type 1 diabetic. The insurance company is constantly changing what they will and won't pay for. Every time this happens Walgreen's will always find a way for us to get all of her medications and for this I'm forever grateful!😉

I took my prescriptions in last night (Thursday, Jan 18th, 2018) the Pharmacist was so uglyĺto me. 1st of all because I was from out of town and 2nd because they were a Class 2 Narcotics. Wendy the Pharmacist ask if I had tried somewhere else to fill them, of course I had not. She could not fill them because she would have to fill out a long list of DEA regulations. Plus she had to fill the Hueytown/surrounding areas first. Needless to say she filled my prescriptions. I have never had anyone treat me the way she treated me.Ms. Wendy should not work with the public and should not talk to customers like she talked to me.) Very up set and will never go back to Walgreen Hueytownĺ.

Was very nice and helpful today, I finally​was able to get the last Samsung Galaxy Express 3 for $30.00, after​I had some difficulty about being able to get it Friday cause no one could find a key to the locked glass case. So ​then I found the same phone at Walmart for $50.00, so needless to say I guess it turned out to be a good thing in the end cause we went back to be Walgreens and it turns out that​ we were able to get it in the end cause someone went through all the keys trying each one till she found the right one
