Everyone is always so nice. Today's visit,older gentleman told me about 3day sale and younger gentleman that cashed me, both went above and beyond. Have never had bad experience here and I've shopped here for over 10 years.

Highlander Foodland was okay I went there with a friend of mine they are a mom and pop kind of store the veggies were fresh however when we went too the meat department I didn't like the smell I have a king sense of smell some of their beef and their pork was starting too go bad other wise they are okay the floors where clean so if you go their just be mindful of the do called fresh meat section and you will do fine.

Very friendly customer service although a smaller grocery store with limited amount of items they have unique items that larger stores would normally not carry. If you're in a rush just to pick up your basics and this is a great place to go, although they are usually extremely busy on Fridays they still get you out pretty fast by opening up all the registers.Very clean and fairly well organized, a small but fresh produce section. Ample parking, and for small grocery store very pleasant to shop at.

This is the place to go in a neighborhood where you can go in and come out without the crowds, plus food are always stocked ….they have great values on their produce and meat is top notch!!! Their employees are super friendly and helpful!! I love spending my money there !! It’s worth it!!!!

You just have to love the feel of a small town locally owned grocery store. You get a sense of personalized care that you just don't get at the larger chain brand stores. You don't have quite the selection ad those larger stores nut quality measures greater than quantity, especially in this instance. Store is located in an older established location as it had been in the same building for as long as I can remember. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. They do not have a deli or any options for hot meals.

At first I was frustrated with lack of cashiers help and attitude but with a manager close by he jumped in provided the help I needed and made sure I was seen to all the way to my car. Managers doing their job is not easily seen alot these days so Hooray for this manager going above and beyond.

I have lived 3 blocks f=I'm this establishment for 26 years...I always rate any place on Safety...Cleanliness...Staff...This modern sized grocery store is well lit and clean parking lot...also neighborhood police frequent this location adding to their well rated safety factor...upon entering the store it is clean all over with a wide variety of items regular and sale prices...Their bathroom is properly stocked with hygiene items...The staff is friendly and competent displaying a group of satisfied employees that actually enjoy their jobs...Great Job Management...I recommend this locale with my personal rating as being...Family Friendly Location...Safe for all ages...

Warm, country, kinda "mom and pop" atmosphere. I feel like comfort when I enter the door. Prices and equality of meats and produce cannot be matched bt any grocer I've seen in my 4yrs of being in Bessemer. They have the most kind, caring that you found what you were looking for and offer carry out should you require or ask.

I've never been to the Highlander Foodland before today and came across some cheap finds. They were some very nice pork ribs and ground beef for burgers and spaghetti. I love the small town nature of this Hueytown location. It is nice to have supermarkets like these around; especially during these trying times. Keep up the great work down there in Hueytown; it is mist definitely appreciated 😊

People at Highlanders Foodland wer wonderful. I enjoyed the young kids that work there they are very nice. Love the music that was on in the store. The manager on duty very very nice gentleman. I am from north of Gardendale was there buying groceries for my 95 year old aunt in Bessemer. I enjoyed my shopping experience very much thank y'all

They are always so nice to me and my child they give my son candy and they always have what we need if I can't find something they help me find it if they don't have it they will order it. They are way better then Walmart piggy wiggy and publics
