Every other day there closed until 12 am or til 4pm today they put up a sign an said they will open at 4 pm waited to 4pm an they put a sign up saying they were closed for maintenance door have been locked all day this is not the first time they also have stickers on all the freezer have a not in order sign everytime you go in the store you have to walk around boxes just to get through the store very junky

OMG that store was so organized the top stock was so in order. That's the best Dollar General that I have gone to in years. The staff very pleasant. I will go there more often. The floors wasn't cluttered at all. Awesome .the other stores need to take an example from this store.

It's always so clean and the employees are always helpful and nice. Gary the manager is a super nice genuine guy. You can tell he loves his job and if he don't he's pretending very well.

Not so good. I was involved in someone hitting my car today. The cashier was helpful. But the manager lied to me and a cop at first when I asked him to pull the camera up. He said he didn't have one. Then he finally admitted that he had one by the receiving door but it by the front door. So o told him that he point blank lied to me. He didn't want to even help. I've worked for dollar general and I had more compassionate to my customers than that. They need a camera by the front door. The other stores have it.

I go here all the time because it's close. Better there than going into town when I can get it close by for a comparable price. Maybe not the cheapest but comparable. They have a business plan to make sure there is a Dollar General near you. The drawback is they don't have everything you were looking for. Sometimes they were out of stock. They could improve their supply chain.

This is the main place I shop for household & pet items. There are 3 DG stores close to my house but this one is by far my favorite. The employees are always friendly and helpful and they have a great manager here. I don't think I've ever seen him take a day off.

Good little store. Generally crowded but has most of the stuff I need. Staff isn’t super friendly but that’s ok because they are pretty quick about getting people through the line which is a big plus to me.

Great store. Nice and small, but great deals. I bought some cookies for a dollar from there and I swear they taste just like Oreos! Very nice and friendly workers. Go check it out 😁

Seems this is one of those Dollar General stores that keeps everything well stocked. If you can't find something the employees are very helpful and trying to locate it for you. They a limited frozen food section.

Best dollar general in Birmingham! The manager, Gary, really knows how to run a great store!!! Everyone ia always friendly, welcoming, helpful, and the store is always well stocked and clean.

DG sold several things that I used to buy there regularly: black-eyed peas by Glory, hash brown patties, Fruit of the Earth skin care lotion, and lately, Ricola Origional cough drops amoung others. These items sold well. I spoke to a manager and he said that DG provides products based upon regional sales data and not local. That is dumb and costs them sales. I often go get everything I need elseware to save time.

My comments are simple DOLLAR GENERALS, there every where you go and have what ever you need only cheaper than the great big store's friendly service and great guaranty on all there products .What more can I ask of quality , and services ?Thank you for your dedication to all who shopsWith DOLLAR GENERAL .

Most often a good experience...Some cashiers are not so friendly, but many are really very good !!! Some locations have a lot of trash outside..but some are much better maintained..

This store is okay. It would be better if all items stayed stocked up with good dates and this store definitely needs to add a produce section and adult beverages.

The one on warrior river rd by Steve's groceries is the best...they always have everything put out and up..employee are friendly and very helpful...the only dollar general i will shop at...

The store does have the upgrade that Pleasant Grove has. They sale produce and variety of breakfast items. It really need to be upgraded

Because this Hueytown Al store on High School Road always have their store stocked unlike the closer to my home DG on 19th St. In Bessemer!!!!

It was really nasty walking in the door. Trash was everywhere. And the inside merchandise was not organized. Stuff was everywhere. Worse Dollar General I've ever seen.

Just about the best dollar store in pleasant grove. Management has always been helpful.
