Wow - did I ever experience tremendous service! While visiting the Kohl's in the Grove Shopping Area in Hoover on March 27thFloor Manager Carelton & Cashier Harriet took great care of me concerning a difficult return and reringing the replacement merchandise. Carelton went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Kudos again to Harriet & Carelton for truly caring about their Kohl's Customer!

Went to purchase items with a voucher that I had earned on a previous transaction. The voucher was worth 50% of my total that day, but when I got to the register, the computer said it had already been used at a store in another state two days before. Very rushed employee refused to help me figure out the problem, just told me to call the credit department and sent me away. I would not have been there at all except for that credit voucher, because even "sale" prices at Kohl's are often too high for my budget. I have had several bad experiences at the two stores in my area.Coupons and discount vouchers are short-lived and intentionally confusing, and try to bait customers into shopping every week, which turns out wasting money instead of saving it. Returns are often a hassle, and the associates in the stores are rarely pleasant.Update: Raised rating from 1 to 3 stars after the store manager replied to a survey that I completed online. He apologized and offered me the opportunity to come back and get a credit for the amount of my invalidated coupon. I am happy with his responsiveness and the resolution offered. It's too late to salvage my loyalty, and I won't go back, but at least the manager can see when someone has a problem, and he wants to do something about it. Hopefully things will get better for other customers and all those unhappy employees I've met.

I was very disappointed in their customer service. I went in for a pickup of online purchase. They were very busy on their phones. There is no assistance with getting large items in the vehicle.I ended up just taking mine back in for a refund. Won't use online purchase pickup again.The problem is customer service is so bad, maybe only good way to purchase is with delivery. Never had a problem with that

My daughters and I shopped in store for the first time this week. We were pleasantly surprised with the sale items. Once we got to the register we were wowed by Harriet. She built rapport with us, told us about the credit card, and the rewards program. She really made a lasting impression. We will definitely be back.

I had a very bad experience I had the employees follow me around in the store like I was going to steal something I went to the restroom I was followed in the bathroom and it was very filthy very dirty. Look like no one cleaned it in a couple of days when I went to check out I had two employees follow me, and when I checked out the cashier, just took all my clothes and shoved it in a bag didn’t take time to fold it or stack them on each other. She was very rude. I will never go back into the store again. I love Khols, but this store I will never return again.

Kohl's at Hoover has some really good deals (especially on athletic wear -- I found a pair of Adidas shorts for $5). Check out the beauty area for good and cheap buys! Also, they take Amazon returns! You don't need to package your returns or spend any money on shipping; Kohl's at Hoover will take care of all of that for you!!!

Shout out to Andrea at the Kohl's store in Hoover. She was very helpful from getting us service in the jewelry dept to helping us with a dress that was missing a piece, all while checking us out in a speedy manner. It's customer service like this that keeps me going back to Kohl's.

Had some good deals and sales, but it wasn’t even a minute after I walked through the door that AP was trailing after me. Followed me through the entire store as I was making my rounds and made me feel uncomfortable the entire time.While I respect the dedication to the job, and I’m not about to throw shade at an employee that’s just trying to make a living, I can’t exactly say I appreciate being treated like a petty thief just because I don’t look like your usual customer.

Customer service was horrendous. I needed to make a return of a Christmas gift and I didn't have the receipt. The associate was rude, in general, but after finding out I didn't have a receipt, she alluded to the gift being purchased at a lower price or stolen. She refused to give me a full refund. The experience was infuriating.

This store is good but not so great.Some of the cashiers need to have some coaching on etiquette and manners.My past 2 visits the cashiers have been dismissive and pushy.Last week one was really rude to me when I was trying to present all of my cash incentives to her, saying loudly that I couldn't use them before I even showed them to her.She was so loud I believe half the store could hear her.Been shopping at Kohls stores for 15 years now and this one was one of the worst Kohls experiences I've had.Please clean up their attitudes.
