I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this place is absolutely terrible. I ordered a meal for one person and I waited 25-30 minutes for my meal. When I went and asked about it they merely looked at my ticket and was like oh he's been here a minute. Then they realized they didn't have any fries so I had to wait for that as well. It would've been different had they came and gave me updates but there wasn't any oh I'm sorry for your wait my apologies. They just handed me the food like I didn't just wait 35 minutes for a chicken sandwich. At that point it ruined the whole meal for me.

This was my first visit to a Popeye's in some time. It was also my first time in Harpersville, Alabama and an unexpected visit. A big traffic jam on the Interstate ended up being a trip through the countryside and led to this Popeye's.The staff was friendly. I walked up to the entrance and walked in. As it turned out, the dining room was actually closed but someone forgot to lock the door. We did not know that for a few minutes until someone apologized, explained the situation, and let us order and still eat inside. The problem, as is often the case now, was a lack of a complete staff.As a result, we had a quiet dining experience in a dining room that was very neat, clean and quiet. No doubt, the people who came up and wanted to come inside were perplexed as we were sitting there eating but the door was locked so no one else could enter.The two-piece combo meal I had was excellent. It was cooked perfectly with a little spice. My dining companion had the chicken tenders. They were also very good.The biscuit was tasty and not overdone, the drink cup was very large and the iced tea was also good. The cajun rice was very spicy. I think I would go for the red beans and rice on another visit.I suspect we will try another Popeye's in the near future when we have a craving for fried chicken.

We just ordered food from the drive-thru at this Popeyes after it was closed for about 2 1/2 months. We had one order of popcorn shrimp and two orders of chicken tenders. We had to pull up and wait a little while for the shrimp, but the wait wasn't very long. The lady that handed me the order wished us a Merry Christmas, which I appreciated. When we got home, we were pleasantly surprised that the dipping sauces we asked for were in the bag. In addition to that, the chicken tenders were cooked all the way through but not overcooked. My mashed potatoes even had a generous ladling of gravy over them, just the way I like it. My daughter said her shrimp tasted good and had no complaints. Best of all, our food was still hot when we got home so it seems like it was cooked fresh and not pulled after sitting under a lamp for an hour. We were all very happy with the food, so hopefully this Popeyes will continue to perform at this level... Fingers crossed!

Walked in around 3:00 with my sister and we were both getting meals for our husbands. I ordered two of the BIG BOX meals, each with different sides. The woman taking my order was extremely rude and let me know by her actions that she didn’t care one bit about getting my order right. My sister ordered the same thing I did and was treated the same way. While she was filling our orders someone pulled into the drive through and she told them she would be right with them. After managing to get our orders filled in under 15 minutes someone else came to the front counter to make sure she had put everything in the bags. They still royally messed up our orders. We were the only people in there, except for the drive through customer that never got waited on. The drive through guy finally left without ever placing his order.You can’t blame this on staffing issues. Popeyes Harpersville just has bad employees.

The manager on the phone was so rude! I didn’t get a chance to order anything. I was trying to ask about the chicken specials. I ask the employee her name she said “I told you in the beginning so that mean you wasn’t listening to me. Never ever have I been talked to in such away by a person in customer service. This lady needs to be fired!!! Then she told me I was having a bad day. I wasn’t having a bad day until she pretty much told me off. I’m still shocked that an employee can yell at customers on the phone or in person!

4:30 appropriate Friday today waited in line 20, decided to wait out the shut off speaker. When I got to window they did not know my order. Only 2 people in kitchen. When I mentioned it sweetly I was in a hurry…..the lady told me to “GO THEN”. I was bewildered then she shouted “ leave” I did. I own a business too and would appreciate the information. I am available for more information if needed to dismiss the employee

I went to the Popeyes in Harpersville on yesterday February 19th. I ordered a two piece snack a Brest and a thigh.The cashier did not ask if I wanted mild or spicy. I paid for my food they gave me the box which was hot I’m assuming the chicken was just cooked. When I got home to eat a piece of chicken the chicken was not seasoned at all it was just plain and nasty! I don’t know what they are doing in that kitchen but I will not be back!

Person taking order was hard of hearing, after 3 trys she didn't repeat 2 of 4 meals correctly and she wasn't typing them into the computer, she was trying to recall everything I said while walking back to tell the cook. I finally asked, "Could anyone read what is supposed to be on the screen?" She gave me an ugly look and asked if I wanted the chicken, and I politely told her to just cancel my order, and she replied good and walked off. I gladly left, pulled off, and stopped at the store next door to get drinks and after 20 minutes in line at Popeyes in Harpersville, Alabama there was only one other car to pull up there to order chicken on a Friday night. Of course, we can see why. We drove on to Popeyes in Sylacauga and received better service there. That was 2 times we left Harpersville without food.

Arrived in drive thru line with one car in front of me at 5:07pm. Got my food at 5:54pm. 47 minute wait for fast food.Older lady working the drive thru was extremely rude to the car in front of me and me.Unacceptable, poor service.

Someone came through earlier that had a few hives on the back of his vehicle so Harpersville called us and we came and helped them out. We did not kill them. We are bee keeper's. (By the time we got to Popeyes there wasn't that many.)

There were hardly any customers there, but somehow it still took 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that they had customers in the lobby. Then it took 20 minutes to get food. By the time we got the food, the chicken was rubbery and cold.I'd suggest Jack's instead. It's right down the street and has similar menu items.

I was ordering a 3 pc all white. I was informed they had no wings but I could do 3 breast. So I said great.they are out of red beans so I settled for mash pots. I got home and had 1 breast and 2 drums which I don’t eat. Mash pots were freezing cold. The only thing out of that 3 pc I could eat was the breast. I tried calling. No answer. Ridiculous.

We we ordered an 8 piece box of mild chicken at the drive thru. We were told they did not have 8 pieces of the mild and asked if we would like to wait 15 minutes for the next batch to finish cooking. We decided to wait and while paying, the shift manager offered us the pieces of mild they had, and finish the 8 pieces with spicy chicken. We found that to be quite satisfactory and elected to do that. We drove off as happy customers without having to wait.

Pulled up to drive thru. 2 cars in front of me. We wait 5 minutes before they even take the first car's order. Second car gets to the microphone and we wait another 5 minutes before they start taking his order. We endure 10 minutes of negotiating because they don't have enough mild chicken to fill their order.I get to the window and ask for a 12 piece box. I'll take any chicken they have....Uhh sir, that will be a 15 minute wait.I lost it.They KNOW they are out of chicken. What were they doing for the 15 minutes I was waiting in line?
