This is the most adventurous, family fun center I’ve ever been to. Live music, plenty of activities for the kids and wonderful food. The service is outstanding, and the dinner that I had was as good as any gourmet seafood. Well worth the wait which in season is a few hours. Come ready to spend some time and money.Owner is Jimmy Buffets sister! Really cool place

Lulu's was a fantastic place to eat! We were lucky enough to sit right by the water on a warm day so that added to the experience.The guacamole, salsa and ranch, especially the ranch, were delicious!I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The waiter told me it was spicy so he put the kids sauce version of instead and it was still spicy but very good. I just ate a lot of ranch with my fries. Lol!My husband and brother both had seafood and said it was really good. My mom and a friend ordered the jerk chicken and were very impressed.Would definitely go back and would absolutely reccomend. If you go, be sure to ask for a side of ranch with the fries or the chips. It may have been the best part of the meal. :)

We are visiting from Atlanta and when we mentioned coming to Lulu’s was met with “why would you go there?” From a local.Boy are we glad we did!! We both had the blackened grouper and side salads. The salads were so fresh and soo yummy!! The grouper was perfect and well seasoned. The green beans were great. Everything was wonderful! Mo was our waitress and she was prompt and attentive. We had the best time!!! The live music was awesome as well!!

The experience was an excellent one. The service was amazing. Any concerns with our meals were immediately addressed. The waitress along with a kitchen supervisor, and manager assisted with our food allergy needs and concerns. The drink —-LB Margarita was an authentic one! A must-go-to experience while in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach.Dietary restrictions: Special accommodations are made for food allergy sufferers with a separate kitchen to prepare the food.

So not sure how to review this place. It is an iconic place and I guess that’s what you pay for here. The prices in everything are high. That has to be because she is Jimmy’s sister and this place has been here forever. The last time I came here was probably 18 years ago and it was great then. Today it was mediocre and overpriced.I started with the tuna dip as an appetizer. We were hungry and it was actually pretty good. Served with saltine crackers and didn’t taste like tuna from a can. Maybe a bag😂Ok. Then I got a Bushwhacker. I had waited all day for one. It was just mediocre. Nothing to wanna remember to come back for.Husband got water. It was good and free 😂 He got the shrimp and grits and he really enjoyed it. I tasted it and it was ok but nothing to write home about.I got the blackened fish tacos. They were ok. They were very very spicy for me and I had to have extra sour cream to tolerate the heat. Two of us ate and I had two drinks , for $80 including tip.As a woman who cooks and cooks well, I felt horrible paying that much for what little bit we had to eat and it was nothing fancy. So all in all you’re paying for the experience to sit at Jimmy Buffets sisters place.It was not supper time and it was past lunch- around three o’clock. Maybe that’s why it just wasn’t impressive- plus it was two days before Christmas. 💁🏻‍♀️When we go back in the summer I won’t go there.If you have the money then go. Dinners are expensive and I don’t see how people with kids manage eating at a place like this.

Atmosphere is great the staff was great our waitress was very attentive and friendly! The food came out quickly and was great. No complaints from any of the 3 I was with. The frozen drinks were delicious as well and we all had a different one. They have something for everyone here to include games and play area for kids and adults see pics. Plenty of parking amd seating with great views. Definitely recommend!

Had an absolute BLAST at dinner last night!! Our server, Jennifer was amazing , seriously wanted to put her in my back pocket and take her home as a souvenir. But, alas, that is frowned upon so, she's just going to have to live rent free in my memories! We shared the blackened fish tacos which were, delicious! Especially if you throw some of their WOW sauce on them!! Had the key lime freeze and, the jet ski killer for drinks and, oh man, we were NOT mad at our choices!! For dessert, we wrapped things up with their brownie while we listened to the live music. When tell you that in itself could have been my dinner, I mean it!!! Come super hungry and, you will leave happy and full!!Kid-friendliness: Had a super cute sand area with water feature for the kids, plus, a sand volleyball pit!

This place can get ridiculously crowded/busy. We came here on a Wednesday evening for dinner during off season (end of September 2023). We had a 20 minute wait, but there were things you can do to past time. There's a gift shop, arcade and a couple of outdoor activities.Our server was great. We knew he was slammed with 2 other large party tables, but he still did a great job. Now, to the food: it is mediocre at best. There was nothing bad about this place, but also not a place I would come back to dine if visiting OB again. This place is popular because it's Jimmy Buffets wife's restaurant, but the food is just "meh."If you like cocktails, DO NOT ORDER unless you like pre-made alcoholic beverages. My drink and my husband's drink tasted pre-made and his tasted like sweet juice.The music was ridiculously loud. We had to shout and still could not hear each other. I left with a sore throat afterwards. I actually enjoyed my dish and the onion rings. But after dinner, my stomach was soooo upset. My nephew's stomach was felt the same too. We felt heavy with all the oil. The Manager of the restaurant stopped by to ask us how dinner went. I hate bringing up any issues, but I did let her know we did not like the cocktails. She was really nice to take them off the bill. Overall, the dining experience was loud and I had an upset stomach. I don't have a negative review, it's just that there isn't anything special about this place (food wise).

Horrible horrible place to eat. If you like deep fried everything or cold food thats supposed to be hot…then this place is for you! Bad part was… we waited an hour and a half for food! So angry! All the fried food tasted like old smelly grease that needed to be changed out (IYKYK).

We had a great time at LuLu’s! My daughter loved being outside and the music. The atmosphere is great. Everyone enjoyed their food, but I didn’t care too much for mine. I had shrimp tacos and they were just too plain. I asked if I could get the shrimp blackened since blackened shrimp was an option other places on the menu and was told no… even though you could get blackened fish tacos! I would try something else next time, but would definitely go back! It was overall fun! I recommend making a reservation if you can. Our table was waiting for us when we arrived which made the night with an 11 month old much smoother!

Wow! We arrived late September past the really busy months of the summer season. We arrived about 8:30 p.m. on a Saturday evening. The parking wasn't bad since the restaurant wasn't super busy. There was a one hour wait time but LuLu's gave us so much to do with the kids. My husband and I grabbed a drink at the bar. The Hurricane was great. The Pina colada daiquiri had much to be desired. We had a wonderful evening waiting for our table by playing volleyball and visiting the gift shop. The live music was wonderful. Dining next to the water was amazing. There was a full moon so the reflection on the water was beautiful. The shrimp and grits were amazing. I would love to see the fried green tomatoes dressed up instead of served with a horseradish sauce I think it would be worth using a mix of ranch/thousand Island dressing instead. The chicken finger kids meal was fresh and was simply wonderful for the kids. We will be excited to return. If you are looking to keep the kids out of your hair and wear them down a bit before bedtime, this is the place to be. Lulu's did such a great job on making it a wonderful family place to eat and we appreciate that.Parking: Lots of parking but I can see during the busy months the entire parking lot filling up.

Our family loved our first visit to Lulu's! We made a reservation online and we were seated promptly! It was an easy process and I highly recommend it as this place gets super busy! We loved the atmosphere and watching the boats pass next to us. The service was good and the portions were great as well. The Key West Bowl with Blackened Chicken was a 10/10!

Food was pretty good not as wide of range of seafood I would’ve liked to have had but I enjoyed my shrimp and grits. There’s a ton of stuff to do here for families such as an arcade, sand box, corn hole, obstacle course, etc. The servers and staff were very helpful and friendly. We did have a decent wait on our food however. I highly recommend getting a reservation as this place stays pretty busy. Good place to kill time and eat some food!

Laid back atmosphere and tasty food and drinks. Love music most nights. Lots to do here.. more than just a restaurant and bar. Bring the kids and come early. Ropes course, temporary tattoos, hair braiding, caricature drawing, arcade, gift shop, etc. Sometimes the wait time for a table can be long if they are busy. If that happens grab a seat at one of the multiple bars. The prices are along the lines of other Gulf Shores area restaurants and bars. We will be back…

My wife and I have been meaning to try LuLu’s and being that we may not be in Alabama much longer, we made it a priority. We arrived at about 3pm or so on a Sunday afternoon and were seated promptly. It took a while for our waiter to show up and in fact, his leisurely response would prove to be the theme for our entire experience. I guess one could make the argument that it’s all part and parcel for the island time theme here so I choose not to see it as a negative part of LuLu’s culture, just an observation. Anyhoo, so we took a moment to peruse the menu and I ordered a Cheeseburger with fries and my wife chose the Fried Tomato BLT with onion rings. My wife enjoyed her sandwich and after tasting her onion rings, I agreed that they were delicious as well. My burger and fries were okay but nothing to brag about. Overall, our experience at LuLu’s was good but not noteworthy and I don’t see me going out of my way to return. Don’t get me wrong, LuLu’s was not a bust by any means but with all the hype surrounding this spot, you would probably expect a little bit more. If I was still the kind of person that was prone to having adult beverages until well into the night, I would probably see LuLu’s in a better light. I’m not so the food has to do the heavy lifting and it can’t.

Lulu’s was sooo good! I am so glad I had made reservations here for our anniversary dinner. I am gluten free (celiacs) and boy did they go above and beyond to make sure my experience was good. They have a separate kitchen where they prepare all the allergen-friendly foods which I highly appreciate! The managers can only take your order if you have an allergy, I assume probably to make sure it is all correct. This was amazing as everywhere I go I do not get that type of service when it comes to being gluten free!!!! I was super impressed with the food as well, it wasn’t just a touristy restaurant with sub-par food. I ordered the gf shrimp tacos, amazing!
