This Dollar General is awesome. Only 2 miles from Gulf Shore Plantation resort. Has everything you could need on your vacation from groceries to drug store to even some fresh produce and frozen foods. Even frozen ground beef. Since it's a long 15 miles to any other retail, this is a godsend!

It's a clean store. However, they lock their doors 5 minutes before closing time and the shelves are absolutely bare in the health/hygiene aisles. I get that it's busy season, but they should prepare better for a pickup in business during these times.

This location is very good. The Manager helped carry my chairs to my car and a clerk helped me find my needed items. The Manager literally stopped what she was doing and assigned me. Great. Great and Great. The queue was 12 people and no problems. Customers were respectful and this store was stocking constantly.

People can't expect a low traffic store on expensive land to offer goods without a mark-up. The store offers pretty much everything you need to survive a week down Ft. Morgan. I'm grateful it's here. Very convenient.

This is by far the worst Dollar General that I have shopped. First of all, the store has a crazy organization (if you want to call it that) of items. Most items do not have prices marked on them and appear as though they were just thrown on the shelves. The store is small and merchandise is sparse. They offer vegetation, but most of the time the bins are empty. I was also shocked by the prices of merchandise. I am not one to complain about prices but I hate being ripped off. The store is convenient for people out on Fort Morgan, but good luck in dealing with the frustration of shopping at the store.The store is hard to locate -it's only marked by some wind flags. The store is set back off of the road so it's hard to see it, the lighting around this store is very dim and the parking lot is pretty dark. The store hours that are listed on the website are not correct. The store closes at 8 pmbut the website states that it closes at 10 pm.The ladies that work in this store - hmmmmm - one runs around the store trying to find things and she really doesn't know much about the self-checkout. There is rarely anyone assisting with the self-checkout. Another lady (I think she is the night manager) goes outside to smoke and has to be called in when customers need assistance. There is another lady (I guess she is the daytime manager) and just wow!!!! She is snappy and rude. I prefer NOT to go into this store, but I have used it on occasion strictly for convenience. This is a fairly new Dollar General on Fort Morgan Road, but it already looks run down and is not well managed.

Not your standard DG. They have fresh foods and vegetables here. Also carry beer here.I only saw the one lady checking people out . She was busy as could be .Closest store when you're out in Ft Morgan . They had a decent selection and saves a trip back to gulf shores

BEYOND FRUSTRATED with this store bc it says the store is open until 10. I pulled in the parking lot at 8:15 and it was closed. FALSE ADVERTISING!! Also seen multiple cars that pulled in as well. And its really frustrating that i wasted my gas as high as it is right now. Time and money. Definitely would not recommend.

Told that store was closed due to “needing to stock at 2:30 pm 10/2/2023. Whattttttttt ???????Horrible . Complaint filed with customer support. Never again!

I forgot my wallet at home and didnt realize until I was almost finished at check out. The clerk, Venessa, let me run home and grab my wallet without any trouble, she even put my frozen foods in the freezer so they wouldnt melt. Also the store is a lot neater and better stocked than most DGs

Website says they close at 10p but their doors were locked at 6:15p. Waited 15 minutes in case someone was just using the restroom but nobody came to unlock the door.

You have to really watch for the turn. There is probably an ordinance that doesn't allow a sign to be placed right on the road.

I doubted that this was in fact a here because the satellite image currently just shows sand and vegetation (12/29/21), but it is here. It has a good variety of items and is reasonably priced.
