She has long hair light brownish, young, a little thick but not fat. She is a keeper, just wished the prices were more comparable to Walmart

I love the small home town feel. The guys always ready to help load your car. Food (fresh veggies and fruits and breads seem to go bad fast) is not always the freshest. Not ideal for my big time stock up shopping but we still utilize Dennis often!

I really like foodland especially for their meat...but it sure would be great if people knew how to bag groceries!!!! They really should get a crash course since apparently it isn't a common sense thing. It drives me insane to see dog food mixed with human food, or dish soap with food, or light bulbs with.....anything! Please teach them how to bad! 🙏

Great country store. Wonderful staff... The only down fall is their butcher thinks everyone wants meat thin enough to see through. People want thick steaks and this porkchops... There must be enough meat to get flavor from and not just a crunchy bit of jerky when it's done.

The people at the store deserve 5 stars. This is a great grocery store. The meats are excellent. The fruits and vegetables are the only reason I give 4 stars as they are not always on par with what I can get at Publix. I always shop here first! Support your local business!

Stopped off on the way through Grant. Well organized with a good range of produce and products. Some very keen prices. Same product at less than half price in Huntsville Fresh Food Market. Will stop off again.

I was SO impressed with this grocery store!! The shelves are stocked in extreme order and very well. The fruits and vegetables looked very fresh, as well as their meats. I usually shop at Publix, but we were on Grant mountain this day and I needed a few items. I can tell you, their fruits and vegetables are as fresh, if not fresher, than Publix! They were beautiful! I got a whole bag of groceries, including 4 pork chops, vegetables, fruits and other items, for $27. I will probably be doing my shopping here from now on. I felt kind of awkward that I was so impressed with a GROCERY STORE!!!! But I'm telling you, whoever manages this place does a great job.The 2 cashier's were okay. They said "hello" when we walked in but not much more after that. No "thank you", "have a nice day" or anything. They seemed preoccupied with talking about whatever was on the one girls cell phone, but it didn't really matter cause I was so impressed with the store, the quality of product and the prices.

The people here treat you like they enjoy seeing you. The meat is priced well and they have a butcher than can cut your steaks the way you want. Easy store to navigate. I shop here almost daily.

A little pricey so I try to watch for the sales, which are pretty good. I buy all my meats here which are cut fresh everyday, never disappointed! Love Foodland!

Twice I've bought expired food from here & not noticed until I got home. Strawberries had mold on them as well. The high schoolers working the cash registers were too busy discussing their personal lives to engage with the customers. & Prices are pretty high also.

Always great service!! I work in Grant 3 days a week & always going in there & have never received bad service!! Always friendly & helpful employees going the extra mile if you don't see something you need they'll go back to stock & get it if the have it.

Very nice store, friendly staff also 🤗😀Altho I like foodland A lot...they are lil too pricey to have their baggers/ cashiers just throw any ole thing in the bags....OBVIOUSLY to me, they evidently do not need to by groceries or they just plain don't care Cuz things are way to expensive to have heavy cans on top my eggs, thrown 6 pack on top of my bread etc.....I would not even mind paying lil extra to go to foodland IF they knew how to bag & handle my special cargo 🙃 Cuz I am barely making ends meet anyways...sure don't need my food destroyed before I get home to unbag their messy uncaring baggin....it don't take a lot to know how to bag, first step is caring even a little about customers items they just purchased....lose your customers you'll be out of a job...js

Prices are okay(ish). Customer service is average basically depends on who you see and deal with. Store is small with limited selection and is quite old and outdated. Dare I say the store feels a little bit dirty which is not ideal for a place you buy food from. But I think that is mostly cause it is just a very old building in need of a remodel. There is nothing about this store that makes it better (sets it apart) from Walmart and that's unfortunate.

Great store! Small town feel but lots of options! I was very suprised they carried Soy/Vegan products! The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this store for a grocery trip:)

Several trips to this store for meat and veggies. It all seems to spoil before you can get it cooked. Will look for other options for groceries from now on. Too much money wasted tossing food in the trash we just bought the day before.

I have been shopping at Dennis's Foodland for 29 years. This is a really upscale hometown shopping facility they have foods that are available already prepared. Their prices are very good for this area and any area around town. They have a weekly sales paper that has really nice sell prices in it. Their produce is always in good condition is not nasty or bad. They have good prices on produce usually at all times. Their meat is my favorite here out of all the stores from Hampton Cove Alabama all the way to Guntersville Alabama which includes Owens Cross Roads and Claysville. That says a lot about this particular store the prices and the quality of the meat has Walmart beat way over. They always have nice cuts on the meat and perfect sizes for any family. Their meat is fresh. Their prices in the store are very compatible with any other store around this area. I have not had any complaints with any meat that I have purchased there. This is the place to shop for meat for me and my family. If you're looking for a nice place to shop with our hometown atmosphere Foodland would be a great place to go. Grant Alabama is also a place to retire and enjoy life in the country or start up a great family with a long term life in this town to raise your family and be around Hometown people. Dennis's Foodland is very appropriate for the town in which it exists they go hand-in-hand together.

Clean, country folks. Home town grocery where everybody knows each other. Locally owned by fine family folks. Great meat department. Weekly specials. Bring your coupons. Last week I popped in for a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk and it was almost $8.

Dennis' is a local home owned business. I like dealing with people I know. Dennis' is involved in most of the charitable functions in our town. I would rather support them (cost does not matter) than run an chase the lowball price wars of the conglomerates seeking to dominate the market.

Really nice place, but not as diverse as it could be. Example, the only types of bacon they have are full of nitrates that will put me in the hospital. The only baked beans they have has that same type bacon in them.
