I frequent the dollar stores all over Birmingham in my travels, as I have for many years. I can say emphatically and definitely that this by far, by leaps and bounds has the best set up / best customer service representatives than any other dollar game this side of the mason Dixon!

The place I go to buy cheap art supplies. Also good for cheap snacks and other random household items. Definitely one of the best places to shop at when you are on a budget. 5 stars for staying cheap!

The store was awesome. It was clean and very well stocked. The only problem I had was the cashier walking around talking politics the entire time we were in there. She even went as far as to say she understood why Putin was doing what he was doing in Ukraine. So I will probably choose a different dollar tree next time.

That Dollar Tree location in Gardendale is absolutely a mess. There is stuff all over the isles, boxes everywhere. You can't look at anything without having to move boxes out of the way and you can't walk down the isles without stepping over things. They need to clean up their store and open more than one checkout lane.

stocked well and good fall décor selections. The little machines in the front took our money and of course they couldn't refund so, that's why only 4stars. 75cents is not something to throw away these days.

We went there around 10 am and the floor was filled up with items that they need to put on the shelves. Had a hard time walking the aisles. They should have brought on float out at a time so we could have walked through easily. On a good note the cashier was helpful and awesome with questions we had.

I understand that they are remodeling the store but there is still no reason they should have every box on the floor.... They need to still have the store shop able... I really did not get to shop because it was so cluttered.. Don't get me wrong I understand all of the stores are remodeling but please make it that we can still shop and enjoy the store... But on the other hand the customer service was super great!!!! So I guess once the store is finished it will be good again...

The cashier's masks were thin and of poor quality so my daughter gave them each a 4 ply mask she had made. The store was well stocked and all of the customers were wearing masks! Great experience!

Usually a lil messy as far as boxes to be unloaded goes but they usually have most of what I'm looking for. Never had an issue w staff. I do wish they were one of the bigger stores w more to choose from but just as good as any regular size one

Most awesome Dollar Tree that I have ever been to! Much larger than the normal stores and a large craft craft area! Store personnel were friendly and ready working fast today. I will definitely drive there again!

The cashier was friendly! Checkout was quick.Some items I was looking for were out of stock. Inventory in boxes throughout the store had not been shelved and was partially blocking some aisles.

I’ve always enjoyed going to this dollar tree and never had any issues until today. Cashier was completely rude and out of line to say what she said to me. Would much rather drive the 30 mins out of my way to another dollar tree than to come back to this one.

The place was pretty much cleaned out probly from the holidays. Many sections of the store the shelves were empty. You may want to wait and not go there for a few weeks. The store is very large and when I went there several weeks ago there was much more stuff.I rate it based on the last time I was there. Plenty of parking only one cashier though.

Terrific store; I go a lot. Have seen comments about unfriendly service but that hasn't been my experience. There is a man who works there and cashiers from time to time - now he's more on the grumpy side. The others are nice as can be.

Not much on the shelves, but the cashier was super nice with a smile the entire time we were there. I did not get her name, a big thanks to her anyway for making our shopping experience a great one.

Love this dollar tree and it's convenient location. The only problem is they are out of stock much of the time on regularly kept items. Suggest you shop on line if you can and pick up at the store. It's not a bad store just busy.

Stock always still on pallets in aisle. Love the bargains and personnel but this store needs help to get and maintain organization. I've been to others and they're neat and organized. Unfortunate that Gardendale is the most convenient to me.

Fun fruendly workers. Easy to find what I wanted. Tidy and organized nicely sized and fully stocked.Friendly staff.I shoukd drive out of my way to this store more often.

The employees are super nice and helpful but I can not stand going here any longer because of all the freight in the aisles and against the walls, to the point I can get to anything. It's been this way since I started going here back in August. I thought I was a holiday thing but now I know it isn't. Sad 😥

Dollar Tree is the place you will lose your mind in. You go in for one thing and come out literally with 100 things(as in my case). I actually went in to look and see what they had different than my local Dollar Tree had. The first thing I found out was there were different types of puzzles for the kids. They had the Guacamole chips I like that my local Dollar Tree doesn't carey anymore. They also had different flavors of Brimms skins, so I tried 2 different ones. I also saw a supreme personal pan pizza and it was really good. Also, a 4 pack of polish sausages by Armour. So needless to say, I spent a big head hundred and then sum in there!🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I have traveled to 42 of the 52 states. I always try and visit the local dollar tree's. This is by far the best one ever in America

Customers backed up at the 2 open checkouts. No social distancing. Several items I specifically went there for not in stock. Cullman store was a much better experience.

As always, Gardendale Dollar Tree emplyees are pleasant, helpful & nice. I put money on my GreenDot card & they never complain about the extra work. That's why i keep using this store. They are great!
