I think this is the first Walmart I’ve ever given 5 stars too. I actually enjoyed shopping at this Walmart, it feels so big on the inside. The clothing sections felt much bigger and the clothes were cute. I saw several items I haven’t seen before and I really liked the selection. The store was very clean and the employees were really nice. Jonathan in the deli, Brock in grocery and Brenda in electronics all gave excellent customer service!

Always at Walmart, you go there to shop,but wind up visiting your friends you haven't seen in a while. Easy to get in, difficult to get out. You have to pick the right time to go or you will be waiting in line to get out, even at the self checkout. It's just that time of year! This is the scene after a snow ❄️ storm and hard freeze hit Florence and people panicked, but the next day it was.better, preparations should be made before the storm, not after. What was I doing there? Looking for groceries, of course!! Nuff said..

I live in Killen and I prefer to drive straight by the one on Hough Road to shop at the Cloverdale Walmart. To keep it simple not all but several of the employees are simply rude. Yesterday I had Direct dealings with two separate employees in two separate departments that were hateful. There is always one extremely sweet lady, she works in the money center and she's very helpful. I wish I knew her name so I could make sure that she was not included when referencing rudeness.

Scheduled tire installation took over 3 hours. Was scheduled for a 1 hour appointment (3pm to 4pm). I showed up 10 minutes early. Was 6:15pm before I was able to pay and leave. Worst experience.

Went to pick up some milk and coffee creamer. I ended up with a lot more groceries. I like the produce department, picked up some apples & Apple Cider. We have bought it before and it's pretty good. In and out quickly.

I love this Walmart. I am a loyal customer and Walmart + subscriber but I had a terrible experience today that needs to be addressed. I did a delivery order for my thanksgiving groceries. My family dinner is tomorrow. I was up and dressed and ready to start cooking as soon as my groceries arrived. I got the text they were delivered, and went to get them and it was someone else’s order. I immediately called the 800 customer service number and the guy I could barely understand apologized profusely and began processing my refund. I said, I don’t want a refund. I want my groceries! He said yes ma’am but this is the only way I can get you your money so you can get your groceries. I said, I pay $98 a year so my groceries can be delivered. Now I have to get dressed and go get my groceries on the Saturday before thanksgiving! NO! I told him not to process a refund. I was calling my local store. I called, and the girl who answered was very nice and asked if she could call me back after she got in touch with the driver. She called back in a few minutes and said, I’m so sorry, I’ve called her 3 times and she’s not picking up. You’ll have to call and get a refund, and just keep what you got. I said no, keep calling her until she answers. (Keep in mind, this isn’t just affecting me. I’ve got someone else’s whole milk and case of water and kids cereal. I don’t want it anymore than they want my chicken, pecans, raisins and pie crust!) So, she said she would text her and let me know, and she called back in a few minutes and said they were on the way. I thanked them vehemently and waited for my delivery. It came, and she was very sweet and apologetic. I was extremely gracious and forgiving and wished her a happy Thanksgiving. BUT she had a toddler helping her deliver them. Is that allowed? And here’s the kicker- I unpacked my groceries, and in a Walmart bag mixed with my groceries was a dirty diaper!!! Apparently she changed her kid’s diaper and tossed it into her back seat with my groceries!

UPDATE: TAKEN THE SAME CARD TO HOUGH ROAD WALMART& THE CASHIER TAKEN HER TIME& GOTTEN IT TO GO THRU WITH NO PROBLEM❗ On 12-27-2023(& THEY ARE ERASING THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW AS A SIGN OF GUILT) I WENT TO THIS LOCATION WITH A DISABLED MAN THAT I SET A DIGITIAL HEALTH BENEFITS CARD UP FOR DIGITALLY BECAUSE HE LOST HIS ORIGINIAL& THIS WAS HIS TEMPORARY& AFTER THE CASHIER& A MANAGER DID NOT KNOW HOW TO USE IT, THEY CAME UP WITH ... WE DOES NOT ACCEPT THOSE TYPE CARDS& I KNEW THAT THEY WERE BEING DISHONEST BECAUSE WE HAD JUST USED THIS SAME DIGITIAL CARD @ THIS LOCATION ON 12-22-2023❗THE MANAGER STATED TO ME WHEN I SAID THAT....I CAN NOT HELP WHAT THEY DID BEFORE& WE HAD TO LEAVE ALL OF HIS GROCERIES @ CUSTOMER SERVICE❗I CALLED MANAGEMENT HEAD& HE APOLOGIZED& COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE CASHIERS DID THIS& I CALLED HIS INSURANCE COMPANY OVER THE CARD& THEY WERE SHOCKED& SAID A COMPLAINT WILL BE DONE ON THEIR END❗THIS MAN SUFFERED DUE TO DISHONESTY& UNTRAINED CASHIERS & I ALSO COMPLAINED TO CORPORATE.....I AM ALSO SCREEN SHOOTING& SHOWING COPERATE HOW THEY ARE ERASING A HONEST REVIEW THAT I PUT ON HERE

I haft to say the marketplace is alright but muscle shoals Walmart is bad first of all alot of the employees don't look like they even take a bath before they show up for work or even comb hair...my God surely it hasnt come to that i mean yall already advertise and dont stick by what you say and make anyone who take back something feel like done something wrong im a woman i change my mind but they treat people like they are better ...to busy playing police want a bes and the calls go out dont get first priority i gueee even the police see what everyone does they have nothing better to do than get off on others misfortunes and act like they done hit the lottery please that is bull ...I mean that walt man would be disgusted how things are being run now by a bunch of disrespectful people and family not doing nothing like he started and I intended

I usually say I can't go to Walmart, I want to confess that it is because it's like a WONDERLAND to me. It's always so organized and I feel like a big kid wanting to touch and look at just about everything. Secretly, I love walmart and I guess I just tell myself I can't go so I won't because when I go in for 1 item I could walk out having spent 100 bucks easy. If there was a commercial about it it would be a lady in a straight jacket hollering about the pretty stripes on the lampshades and the blue Jean flower iron patches and she must have the fresh produce. Lol tbc...

I came to Florence to see my mom on Sunday 1/14/24. We left to come home which we live about 100 miles away 1 way. We had a flat no spare. This Walmart Hough road told us we had to have appointment to buy a new tire and have it put on. The guy seen we have 3 babies with us and trying to get home . I could understand if it wasn't an emergency. I will not be back to this Walmart. The bad thing is this is my hometown.

Never a check out open other than s3lf check out, and then they wanna hassle you leaving the store to check your contents. Instead of paying someone to check at the door, pay someone to run a register!

I chose this Walmart for pickup because they had an opening on day of purchase. Normally I go to Athens but I live almost in the middle so I was happy for not having to wait. Their parking is easy to get in and out and it didn't seem as congested as Athens. I will be making this my go to from now on.

Online order for pickup was cancelled twice in a row. Perhaps because I use a VPN for security. But having verified my identity twice as well as changing password (mandatory as part of process), it took 3 attempts (finally with VPN off). This hasn’t been an issue before. Staff at pickup very friendly.

Absolutely no cashiers at all. Employees at the front were just standing around talking doing nothing,when there were people that needed to be checked out. One employee literally closed their line and pointed us to a self check out right as we were coming to them. The only person up front I saw working was the guy out in the parking lot putting up carts. And apparently he hadn't been giving a break or anything. Out in the hot sun.

Really aggravated about my latest visit here. Went to buy 120 bags of mulch which they have on sale for less than $3 online. Well they will only allow you to buy 20 bags at a time online so I went to the store and asked if I could get the 120 bags at the lower price and load them up and they said no. Said in order to get them at that price I would have to make 6 different orders online and wait till tomorrow to pick them up after they process the orders. I understand it's online price but come on I'm buying a lot of bags not just a couple and now had to call my customer and reschedule which not only affects them but my business as well

This is one of the best Walmarts I've been to, and like most people, I've been to many. I specifically drive 40 minutes instead of going to a local one because the service and selection here are so much better. I especially wanna point out how wonderful the people working in the grocery pickup are. I can place a big order in the morning and pick it up on the same day, they make frequent updates on the app so I know exactly what's happening and when my order is ready, I'm always happy with my substitutions and they rarely list anything as unavailable, and they're incredibly expedient in getting the groceries out to you once you've arrived. Ordering from places in the past meant I always expected something to go wrong, but now I look forward to getting my groceries because I trust that they made the best possible decisions on my behalf

Not like it used to be. Hard to get customer service at times, can't always find what you need and prices are higher but its ok in a pinch.
