My Tillie Dog was a rescue 5 years ago by my parents and she became ours when they died. She is a Maltipoo cutie, but, and it is a BIG BUT, she hates being brushed and groomed.Since moving here she loves being outside and hunts for rabbits, frogs and salamanders all day. She gets to be a mess. That requires brushing. The first snag or snarl the brush hits sends her running, often under the couches to hide.Our previous groomers would leave mats in her fur, which pretty much defeats the purpose. We have been at Lucky Dog for 3 months now and are impressed with the care and concern they show an obviously hard to groom girl. Their system allows them to keep great notes on how to groom her and they call if they need to change things up. And, this means the cost stays consistent also.We used to go every 6 weeks but we decided to go every month to see if we can get her used to being groomed more gently by going more frequently. Time will tell. I appreciate them, hope you do too!

Lucky Dog is always very good with my 10yo maltipoo. Ally, my dog, is very skittish and has separation anxiety pretty bad. The employees are always so kind and brag on how well Ally does, which says a lot about the work they do. My dog doesn’t usually behave well for a bath at home, but they always say she does well there. They’re very sweet and really do care for the dogs they groom! I highly recommend them!

Love this place! The people who work here always make sure it is running smoothly. Great for a quick wash or come in for a full groom. They are very reasonable and have a lot of fun dog leashes, collars, and treats as well.

Great experience. Brought our dogs in for walk in nail trims and was in and out quickly. They also did an amazing job with our Pyrenees for a de-shed treatment and bath. Very reasonably priced for the job performed.

Their prices are better than PetSmart and they give your dog personalized attention. Bonnie and Eli were both super happy when I picked them up after their first time there, not even a little bit anxious or fearful. Lucky Dog is now the only place I will take my dogs.

First time going and I will never go elsewhere. My pup loved them and they loved her. The groomer done an excellent job on my almost 5 lbs Chorkie. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, nice and clean building. Pricing average. Lucky dog has an new client/customer. Can’t wait for the Sheffield location to open as it Is closer to home for me.

This is the best place to get your little doggy buddy groomed! It is neat and clean, the folks friendly and helpful. Groomer Anna Green was so attentive to our pup! She treated him with patience and snuggles. Yetti looked so handsome and smelled terrific! Loved the bandana she had put on him. Great place!

My kids and I did the self wash for the first time today for our dog. It was such a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful and had everything set up and ready to go. Hassle free and such an easy experience. Highly recommended.

First timer here and was my experience could have been better. Customer service was great. There was long black dog hair left in the scrubby brush and under mat. Hair brushes had dog hair in them also. Shampoo and conditioner had more water than product which takes away from the effectiveness of the product. You would do better bringing your own. It's convenient because you don't have to bend over like in a tub and don't have to clean up. Not worth $14 bucks though.

I can honestly say my dog Duke has never smelled or looked better than he does after going to Lucky Dog, not to mention this group of people are amazing with Duke!! He loves going to Lucky dog 🐕!!! Duke is a large breed and they know how to make every breed love getting a bath. This is a very clean organized business!! We love the little shopping area for collars and treats!! My granddaughter loves Lucky Dog just as much as Duke she gets so excited when it’s bath time!!!

Hired my 18 yr old daughter and let her work for 4 weeks and then she was let go. She didn't get paid on the stated pay date and then had several excuses about bank issues from the owner when asked about it. We had to go ask for her paycheck and then her check was for 2 weeks only and noone ever contacted her again about paying the rest of her wages.

They were great with Abby! Wonderful full service for your pets. I dropped off my dog and they told me what time she would be ready, I even received a text to say she was ready. My dog came strutting to the front when I came to pick her up. She looked and smelt awesome. They are extremely clean. The tubs are huge and can accommodate an English Mastiff, to my Chihuahua. They are the best price in town for all grooming and especially for nails clipping! I have a very picky rescue Chihuahua who will not let me clip his nails to save my life. All the girls there are very sweet and Russ is as well. One can tell they are animals lover's as well as not just a business.

They know how to do poodles!! We needed our dog groomed sooner than they had an appointment available so we tried a new place! NEVER AGAIN! Our dog is a mess!! Back to Lucky Dog. They are worth the wait! Not sure what to do with our dog tho.

Other local dog groomers were booked full for months when I began looking for a place to make an appointment for my black lab, Flynn. Lucky Dog was able to get me in within a week of inquiring about an appointment. Flynn is hyperactive and barks excessively around new people and other dogs - I was so worried they wouldn't be able to keep him still enough to groom him thoroughly. I am happy to report that Flynn smells amazing and is softer than he's ever been! He badly needed a nail trim and they did a great job with him. Pricing was also very reasonable. I will continue taking him there for years to come and highly recommend you do too.

My dogs have always received the best of care at Lucky Dog, they just do it right. The only negative is they are so popular whereas when they started you could get an appointment most anytime now there is always a wait list. They are the most popular and desired for a reason. They do it best.
