This store is centrally located on hwy 55 in falkville, they have a wide variety of services and they even have prepaid phones and cards. The staff is real friendly and helpful! If I could rate them from 1-10, I would rate them an 11.

Never had any problems here. I've had a few friends tell me they have but I definitely have not. The girls are always friendly and helpful. They stay fairly steady with business but the lines never get to long. The managers are usually right there to help so that they can open another register. They know how to be pleasant and get work done at the same time. You will have to wear mask now but that is not their policy it's the government so just be aware you'll need one to walk in. All together decent store if find yourself needing something in Falkville.

Bianca is the worst possible person there. She mistreats everyone, yells at customers, came in a vehicle that i assume her husband was in one day who was yelling at her. Useless manager. She doesn't need to work in public.

I've shopped at this store for several years and always had a good experience until today. I went in early to avoid the crowds and wore my mask. I needed toilet paper and paper towels and bought other items I could use so my $5 coupon would apply. Well after waiting for a long time to get checked out because there wasn't a clerk in sight I was treated very poorly by the girl that finally wandered over to help me. She took her time and stood and talked to the other employee the whole time. Turns out an item was left out of my bag😢

They keep the store and restrooms clean, and the cashiers are friendly and ready to help! The prices are great also! I got to large Rubbermaid bowls for way less then Wal-Mart had for the very same ones. Most everything is less except the frozen meats. If you download the app, you can update your coupons before Saturday and not have to have the $5 dollar paper coupon for $5 dollars off $25 dollars worth merchandise. Plus other coupons you get money off of.

This is one of the best of the many Dollar General stores I have been in. The store is almost spotless. I never saw one store item on the floor nor were there any boxes stacked in the isles. The shelves were stocked and very well organized. The manager was very professional and very helpful with all our needs. The cashier was very polite and very patient. I live in The Trussville/Clay area and was on my way back from a visit to Madison. My sister and I enjoyed shopping in this store today. In my area our stores are a mess. You just want to run in and get out. I have stopped going to any of them in a 15 mile radius. They are never stocked so the shelves stay almost empty. It was such a pleasure shopping at The Dollar General in Falkville, Alabama.

I am not sure what has happened but the friendliness and professionalism has gone down at my local dollar general. So much so i suffer the red lights now to go to the family dollar. And ao have many friends and aquaintances. I was very disappointed when a manager bold face lied to me. Will only stop there now when nothing else is available.

Overall the store was clean, and organized reasonably well. There was only one cashier and a line developing, and the other employee watched the one cashier struggle to keep the line moving while she stocked random seasonal items.

Went in to purchase napkins. Did not find exactly the amount for the price I was expecting but found a larger package at an even better price. Instead of getting 280 napkins for $2. I found 500 napkins for $3. Great deal so I purchased 3 packages for the senior center I frequent.

Typical Dollar General with the exception of a young blonde haired girl, who when I was attempting to use Western Union ap for the first time, walked me through it with such patience not found that often between young people and seniors. And typical of some seniors I didn't catch her name, sorry. But she knows who she is. Thank You

Website says the store is open until 10 on weeknights. I pulled up at 8:40, the sign and all of the lights were on giving the appearance of the store being open. When I opened my car door, 2 workers who were smoking at the front door yelled at me that the store was closed and now closes at 8 during the week. If store hours have changed, the website needs to be updated and the sign should be turned off at close.

Convenience is key when you live out in Falkville! If we don't have to go all the way to Hartselle, we will absolutely go to DG every single time! Prices are fair for the convenience and they usually have the basics to get you through.
