This hole in the wall restaurant was great! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. If you are ever in the Elba, Alabama area, you have to stop by. The owners were so nice and the regulars talked to us like we were friends. Just a great place. Wow! Just wow!Kid-friendliness: Family atmosphere

It's a cozy place, that definitely is not ordinary. The restaurant has an unique type of atmosphere. Including, a lifesize wooden hammerhead, suspended in the air. I ordered the chicken salad. And even though it was beautifully decorated, with all types of fruits. The taste wasn't on the same scale. Now, that's not to say, that their other items aren't good. For cost, the restaurant is on the high side. The employees were very friendly. The four stars, are for the unique atmosphere. It definitely is a place to stop by at least once.

Such a fun, quirky place! We stopped in during our road trip and decided to check out the funky building with the mural on the side. The entire town square is really nice too!As for the food, service, atmosphere: it was FANTASTIC! My husband had a burger and I had the loaded jackrabbit nachos. It was all delicious and the bartender (who seemed to be the only server) was very friendly and accommodating when we asked to sit outside, even though no one else was outside. We will absolutely be back!!

If you're looking for something different this is the place. Not a typical small town spot. I loved it. Reminded me of brew pubs in larger locations. Had Cobb salad and hubby chicken salad sandwich. Menu had several options I would like to try on our next visit.Staff friendly. Took a little wait to get our food so we enjoyed reading what was written on walls though don't mind waiting for fresh made food.

The Rabbit Hole came highly recommended from a friend. We decided we had to check it out. I'm really glad we did. We had a really good meal in a great atmosphere. We're looking forward to going back when it cools off so we can enjoy the live music. If the posters hanging on the back wall are any indication it'll be a treat.

I ended up leaving, because I felt the price's were to high. It had a nice bar like atmosphere. I think the hamburger steak was $15.00, and I believe the hamburgers are $11. I may be wrong on the prices. The owner wanted to know what I thought was priced to high. This is only my opinion. It is a nice restaurant.

Would love to review the food but didn’t have the opportunity to. Drove to Elba to try this out. Hours marked as open until 9 PM - I even checked their Facebook page before leaving and didn’t see anything to indicate they weren’t operating as adversities. Drove all the way there, “open” sign is flashing but the doors are locked and no one comes to open.Disappointed to say the least that their website and Facebook page weren’t up to date or that they didn’t shut off the open sign. I understand staffing shortages but at least keep your customers updated as to changes to regularly scheduled hours.

I love the pub burger. One day I'll try something else but hard to break away from that yumminess. Great atmosphere. Worth the drive to Beautiful Downtown Elba. There's a nice square to walk around after dinner as well.

When I say this place is amazing, I mean it.I went in the the expected reservations. Most vegan establishments miss the mark, despite their most earnest efforts.The Rabbit Hole is not that. I ordered 5 meals, and FINISHED 5 meals.The pasta was Al Dente, which is SO rare; pasta with texture.The "steak" melt sandwich was dreamy, the bread was delicious, the "steak" melt was wonderful, the deliciously cooked pepperoncini peppers. Just phenomenal.The "Shrimp" and Grits were positively delightful. The texture of the "shrimp", the quality of the fried breading was otherworldly; a deep & wonderful crunch. The grits were wonderfully delicious as well.I could go on and on and on.Thank you so much for existing, The Rabbit Hole. You're a sorely needed establishment for vegans and omnivores alike.

Used to love coming here. Very disappointing tonight. The "live music" was obviously Not concerned about starting on time...or perhaps starting at all...I left after they took a smoke 3 min after starting 50 min late.. only 2 draft pulls incommission ( beer Not football)

8 of us from FL and AL met at the Rabbit Hole on a Saturday for lunch. It was a beautiful day and we say outdoors. Everyone was pleased with the bill of fare. I had the BBQ sandwich with home made fries, which was an excellent choice. The Rabbit Hole had hosted a 200+ event the previous night. Staff were still recovering and replenishing supplies during our visit, or they would have a 5-star rating.Elba is normally a quiet town. While we were there, several dozen bikers came in as a stop on their poker run. Not a problem. Motorcyclists ourselves, we were pleased to see them.

Cool and funky spot for good food and fun with friends. One of the most unique spots in the area. Live music sometimes, a cool atmosphere always. A great place to have a drink and share some conversation.

Great food. Beer on tap - several craft brews. Lots of domestics and wine. Tuesday nights are open mic for singers. Otha Allen hosts. He's a very good singer. Worth the trip.

Good food, friendly people, great decor and now, a large outside patio and music venue. Try the 30A beach blonde beer, it's very good. Live entertainment a couple of times a week.

Limited menu, but nice cozy place for lunch. Staff is always friendly. Jack rabbit nachos are just Doritos with melted cheese on top.
