We've lived in the area for four years and we pass here usually twice a week and we've never eaten here before. That absolutely changed after our lunch today. I would 100% recommend stopping if you're passing by on 65 or just in the area. Super simple sandwich menu with soups, chips, etc. My wife and I both had the rueben which was fresh and amazing. She had the side of broccoli salad and I had the potato salad which was very different, but really memorable in a good way. We also shared a cup of broccoli and cheese soup which was also hot and fresh, really good. Also I have to point out that the majority of the staff are super young, maybe older teenagers. They were hustling, not one bad attitude and they all had obviously been taught correctly and expectations set from the owner from day one. This honestly surprised us due to the poor work ethic and entitlement from youth today. Atmosphere was nice, but a little chaotic due to the church crowd and travelers stopping by. They also have a small bakery and produce as well as an ice cream parlor. Everything appears to be fresh and well thought out.

This little shop has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. We love stopping here anytime we are traveling. They have delicious sandwiches and wonderful customer service. We ordered a Cuban sandwich (our favorite along with the Reuben sandwich!) on our most recent visit and accidentally dropped it on the ground as we sat down. The staff was so kind and offered to remake it for us. Highly recommend this spot! They also have a well stocked farmers market and a very cute boutique like shop.

I have been visiting Durbin Farms since I was a child. I always looked forward to stopping there on the way to the beach or to visit my grandparents. Watching the business expand to what it is now is super cool. But as an adult it's no longer just the exciting half way there point. As an adult I see it for it is. A tourist trap. This is obvious by the exorbitant prices on EVERYTHING. What is most disappointing is their lack of empathy and gratitude for their travelers who now have several other options on the exit. (There used to be no other restaurants on the exit). Like for instance, if you have a customer that comes through and orders something to go. Only to find out they have the wrong order and can't do anything about it because they are 2 hours away now. If they stop back by on the way back, and inform you of your oversight. It would be a good business practice to first of all, apologize. And then maybe offer a discount or include the correct order on the house. If people are actually purchasing the ridiculously priced items in your gift shop, you can afford a comp'd slice of pie. Bottom line:Yes, they have clean restrooms. Yes, the fresh produce is good. And yes, the ice cream is great. But customer service could use some work and be prepared to spend $$ for a mediocre sandwich shop.Kid-friendliness: There is a picnic/playground area in back.

Love Durban farms every time we go. Had some more awesome peach ice cream on the way back from vacation. They have some funny lisabel hats and shirts and trinkets but they are very expensive. Make sure you take back some of the fantastic produce they sell. Incidentally they're building some new things for patronsperiod there's a nice space for you and your family to sit outside and maybe let the kids play in the dog walk a little bit.

Got the veggies in the photo on July 4th for $28.00. Passed on the $11.00 watermelon. Vegetables were well displayed & fresh looking. Lower star rating due to peach pecan ice cream that we get every time we pass by did not taste like peach at all. Tasted more like ice cream that had thawed out & refrozen, tasted like the cardboard carton. Otherwise service was prompt & courteous.Parking: Lots of parking spaces for cars, trucks & trailers.Wheelchair accessibility: Have a couple of handicap parking spaces. Would need help getting inside the entry doors if going inside.

The atmosphere was wonderful, the service was excellent and the milkshake was just sinfully delicious😋!!!You could lose an hour in their easily. The gifting items are for the whole family. From a tiny little new person 👶 all the way to a DIY dad! There are even some items in there for the grandparents and the favorite aunt and uncles.Wheelchair accessibility: The lot is flat and rolls right into the shed where the fresh produce is on display. From there you may enter the glass doors into the ice cream, sandwich and gift shop!!! You could lose an hour in their easily.

We saw this little treasure as we traveled to Clanton to do some business and took note to give it a try on the way back. We're glad to have stopped in. There are knick-knacks and snacks galore! The deli menu is very attractive to almost anyone's appetite. The only minimal ding was the cannoli, it need some crunch in pastry. It may have been in the fridge a while. Other than that, it was a great visit and will stop in again!

Absolutely love this place! Have stopped here EVERY time I travel to and from Panama City, over the last 24 years. Perfect to enjoy truly homemade Peach Ice Cream. The heirloom Tomatoes in the farmers market area, are best I have ever had. I also have Luxury rental condos on the beach (grandpanama.net) and ask all of my Guests to stop on their way down Interstate 65!!! Pet-friendly also! Photo below of Heirloom tomato and fried-egg sandwich!!!! ♡♡♡Lynn Ledbetter Bush

This was such a quaint little stop! They have a little marketplace for fresh/canned foods, a display area for merchandise of all kinds and the food is absolutely wonderful. Besides all that, though, the staff is what made this visit so spectacular. This was my first time to Clanton, and my friend and I stopped in on a whim. Everyone was eager to assist, to make sure that everything was just perfect; the staff in the kitchen/ice cream shop AND the folks in the marketplace. My friend convinced me to try the boiled peanuts (I'm not from the south) and the girl working was floored I had never had any before. She quickly got me a sample of both the original and the Cajun, and when I decided to purchase one, she loaded the container up! 10/10 would recommend (btw, the peanuts were delicious the next day too, re-boiled in some salt water!)

Nice place with a good variety of fresh produce and vegetables. A good selection of jams, jellies and related items. A lot of souvenirs. The fresh strawberries, peaches and cantaloupe we bought we ripe and sweet. Going to stop by next time for ice cream and sweets.

It's always a pleasure to shop and eat here. Kettle corn and pina colada ice cream are a excellent choice. My mom loves the flavor of black walnut.. You can also find beautiful items to shop from. Staff is friendly and eager to assist the customers.
