Excellent selection of fresh pork, chicken, and beef. Tons of different fresh vegetables and fruits. The staff is always friendly, fast and eager to help. Different sales going on every week and they honor almost any coupon. I highly recomend.

A witness of some of the MOST RUDEST, most down right disrespectful employees. Even the managers were awful. I heard the ugliest things spoken upon a fellow employee. To hear even the managers/bosses being just as cruel as the other coworkers just is just awful. They need to be fired. Piggly-wiggly employees were using a single person as an excuse for having the most nastiest produce and store products. Not a single time have I went to the store and bought non-expired milk & other produce. The employees would talk badly about a co-worker to eachother and embarrass this person and the managers would encourage it and in fact would go along with it! Only two employees in this store were good decent people. Do better and grow up!

The Piggly Wiggly in Childersburg Alabama is a down-home country store. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I was in there last week when an employee was asked to leave because his hygiene was so poor. He made a theatrical scene and approached the customers and asked if he smelled. He did. It was an awkward situation that the management and staff handled very professionally while this man was acting erratically. I was told he is no longer with the company. That is a good thing. I think he needs mental help.

I myself was in there tonight. December 31,2022. My fiance and myself had to pick up a few things when I went to put in the pin # to his debit card I heard an employee in a brown northface jacket say aloud the numbers I was entering in the keypad then made the remark she wished she could use it. Now I've never experienced anything like that on my life. And fellow employees found it humorous.

ALOT OF THE EMPLOYERS AT THIS LOCATION ARE VERY RUDE AND NOT FRIENDLY AND SEEM LIKE THEY HAVE AN ATTITUDE EXCEPT THE ASSISTANT MANAGER NICOLE BRYANT THAT REALLY KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOING AND VERY FRIENDLY SWEET KIND HELPFUL GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND HER JOB TO MAKE CUSTOMERS HAPPY EVEN THOUGH SHE IS AN ASSISTANT MANAGER BUT I SEEN HER AS A CASHIER BEFORE AND DOING OTHER DUTIES THIS NICOLE IS DIFFENTLY I THINK IF IT WASN'T FOR HER THIS PLACE WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS BY NOW BECAUSE OF MOST OF THE OTHER PEOPLE THAT WORKS THERE

Very convenient shopping but their prices have jumped up. Shopping on a budget, I now have to go to Walmart supercenter to stretch my dollar. The pig always has good meat to choose from. Their employees are always kind and helpful.

Horrible prices. Marked up prices due to the closure of competition. If rather take my money to the Wal-Mart right down the road where I know I'm going to get better savings and money back with the savings catcher. Good Lord the greed in this country is way out of control. Oh and look there's another Piggly Wiggly down the road from this one. Wonder if that location price gouges too.

Totally dig this place. This is an old school grocery store and I admire that it does not see the necessity of change cause the customer base has no demand for one. Great Produce, Great Meats, Great Budweiser section! Like wines, but hell I can drive over semi-snob land to get my selection. Plus, there is no other place in the world you can get awesome, camo Piggly Wiggly gear. My only suggestion, 86 the Auburn gear (Roll Tide!). This a great neighborhood store with a neighborhood feel. And love say to visitors, " Ya hungry, let's go to the, "The Pig" and find us something to throw down in the pit." They stay bewildered for years.Good. Day,djay

I have only shopped here 3 times since moving to Childersburg in April. Why you may ask? Each visit was a bad experience. Once I brought home a container of dip that was spoiled but was still in date. Thankfully, they provided me with a full refund. That is the least of my issues with this establishment. The staff have very poor customer service and lack skills that are essential to working with the public...not a very people friendly bunch. On top of that, the prices are jacked up to Jesus since there are no other grocery stores in the town which is taking advantage of the locals. The inside needs serious renovations. Sylacauga will continue to get my money and my business.

Everyone is always so nice when you walk in. There's only one problem with the Piggly Wiggly in Childersburg, and that's their prices. When Winn Dixie went out of business, Piggly Wiggly increased their prices on everything. They've got you too. They know the folks around here aren't going to want drive ten miles either way to save that dollar. We pay that extra. I hope they come down soon. The whole town is chatty.

The store is dirty, went to produce twice first time nats were so bad on the food disgusting. Second time went to get some celery every package was wilted soft. I will never return there again and spreading the word rather go to Chelsea.

Good place never had any problems shopping here but when you raise your prices on certain things because your the only grocery store in town you get 3 stars instead of 5 shopped here my whole life.

Great place to shop. We have had there grand children work there and they enjoyed working there as much as we enjoy shopping there. Really good and helpful folks. We buy all our meats there.

Clean! !! This is the nastiest grocery store on earth, sad that this is our only choice for shopping in Childersburg, I will go to the local dollar stores or Sylacauga before I go in here . The girl manager is Rude , just all round bad , I only gave it 1 star because I could not leave a review unless I rated it .... miss our Winn DiXie !

They have stopped selling a lot of things that I would typically get there. And it's getting ridiculous with the prices now. Just about worth driving to Sylacauga then to go there. :( sad how you bump prices up just because it's the only grocery store in town.

There aren't many choices when it comes to grocery shopping in the Vincent and Harpersville area. It's a very old building and not updated at all, so except for pretty good meat prices this store is nothing to rave about
