Love the Dollar General stores. Great selection and most of their prices are a good value. They get a 4 because the stores are always so cluttered with carts of stock needed to be worked. I always have to move acart or two to get what I need.

They're but to be the only store in town they don't have a big selection. Then they're high as heck then on top of top some of the food like peanut butter have been on the shelves so long that it tastes old and outdated and they won't let you return it because it's used or so I've been told so with and for all this trouble no one of my favorite places not even my favorite places on my baddest days. Thank you my personal experience when you go to shop in their store some one begins to follow you around like they waiting for you to steal hint: not all black steal. Hint: you never know who you're offending.

They do not honor your digital coupons even when they are clearly in front of the associates they would not adjust the prices. It's false advertising then when you ask to void they say the coupons cannot be used again. If you are going to allow digital coupons then make sure your store is able to price adjust when they aren't applied

Good place for great bargains on stuff you buy everyday and atuff you don't find at other stores. Friendly staff helps you locate things. Overall, great prices, great variety. I hardly ever give 5 stsrs but this particular DG store is close.

This store in centre al on main st ( hwy 411 next to Wal-Mart )has the most amazingly employee ..he always has a smile on his face greets everyone with a smile when they walk in ..i do not know this man's name ...i do not know him personally..but I do know he is the one person that deserves a raise & a promotion ..he needs to be the one to train all employees...if you don't believe me go to this store then visit other stores ..there is a store approx 3mins from me but I choose to drive the extra 10 min ...this store has nothing to do with this post but I have been in this store I can say the staff has been friendly

They helped me with phone, wasn't my fault..they were willing to give credit fur calling card& phone......but instead give me new phone and calling card.... helped me set it up..... AmenThought I was going to lose 90.00.But instead done thu right 😂 thing........................... AmenThis manager and people like them need a raise........ God bless 🙏 them...... Amen90.00 lot lot lot 💰 money to ME..As is to everyone who werks fur it...or able2.Thank God 🙏 every day.... AMEN

All the staff here are friendly and courteous. They always have what I need at an affordable price. Cleanest store in the area and you can tell the staff takes pride in their jobs and their store.

I wait at least 10 mins at the register everytime before anyone decides to check me out then the staff never seems happy rather almost bothered that you even stopped in the store.

So far this goes for at least 90% of the Dollar generals I've been in try to find help that actually helps customers and can run a register because it seems like there's always at least 10 to 15 people standing in line and everybody working in there is talking and the customers are all standing there complaining
