TLDR: 0/10 would NOT recommend tattoo jungle for piercings.I got both of my helixes pierced at Tattoo Jungle on Dec 1st. The piercer gave me bactine to spray on the fresh piercings and gave me aftercare instructions that included washing the piercings with soap up to 3 times a day. Not knowing better at the time, I followed the instructions and the skin on my cartilage was soooo red and swollen and painful for the following 5-6 days that I thought I had infected piercings. Called another piercer and they told me the harsh chemicals in the recommended bactine spray and soap I was washing with were massively irritating my fresh piercings. I also called to ask for the gauge of my earrings and to confirm they were hypoallergenic (I am allergic to nickel) and was told I was pierced with 20g and never got 100% confirmation about the content of their earrings. Come to find out 16g is recommended for helixes. All together an awful experience but I am thankful after starting the right aftercare procedures that my ears are healing well and less painful.

I went for a cover up and Jeff was amazing! Still needs a little touching up to completely cover but already planning to go back so he can finish this masterpiece! If your needing any tattoo work done he is your go to guy! You will not leave unless youre completely happy with your tattoo. And if for any reason you need a touch up they are very understanding and will go above and beyond to help you. My overall experience was GREAT! These people make you feel like youve known them your whole life! I look forward to doing business with them again!

The most clean and professional tattoo shop I have ever been in! The waiting lounge is a awesome atmosphere. Donovan was my artist and he honestly with me about my ideas and that it wouldn’t flow together correctly. He went over and beyond to find the right picture, then drew it up by hand to make sure it was completely original like I wanted! Will definitely be going back to see him and Jeff again! Jeff and his team did a fantastic job. First, I had to make adjustments to my appointment, no issue, handled perfectly.Then, when I arrived to have a conversion / cover-up done, they did a great job! Jeff made sure the design would fit what I wanted, the staff was fun and professional...and they cared about one thing, the quality of the work. Jeff's artwork, freehand, and the script they laid out for me blended right in. I am still shocked and amazed at what he pulled off for me. I must say, after almost 10 years ago of getting a tattoo here with Jeff I stopped back in to see if they could help me get a nose piercing out and help with installing a new one. They gladly stopped what they were doing to help fix the problem, and most of all they friendly about helping me get it done. Seriously, you can’t find a better place with such a familiar friendly loving atmosphere then tattoo jungle show them some love, they will definitely show it back.

Friendly, knowledgeable & experienced staff. I went in with pictures of what I wanted, just 4 piercings. Jeff was very thorough from making sure I picked out the correct jewelry, the placement, to the coaching during the piercing, (which I think I stopped breathing in fear), he was very gentle with me, discussed what to expect during the healing process and went over the importance of cleaning and what to do if any of the areas become tender and sore. I left Tattoo Jungle within an hour with EIGHT piercings! I love all my piercings and catch myself looking in the mirror wanting more. Highly recommend. I’ll be seeing you again soon, Jeff. They are the best people you could meet!! It was my first tattoo and they were super supportive! They made me feel like I was family. Jeff walked me through everything and kept me so calm. They don't understand how much this means to me! I'll be back very soon for more. Side note: don't believe the reviews that are negative because they are so far from true. Jeff even took the time to teach me about a piercing I had recently got somewhere else days prior! I can't imagine going somewhere else now! Thank you so much Jeff!!

They weren't very busy and I got service really quickly and their prices are reasonable unlike another place I used for piercings. He did a great job and he even let me videotape it for my YouTube channel because I have cancer. I've got a tattoo that needs to be touched up and 6 months after I'm in remission I can get ink again and I will be taking a trip from Hoover down to Calera

Had my lobe pierced about a year ago and just got a cartilage one a week ago and I'm absolutely in love with both and have had no problems with any of them. Jeff did my lobe and was very pleasant to talk to even at 9:30 at night. The lady that did my cartilage was so sweet and so was her mom who came to visit. I'll definitely be going back in the future

Waited on Jeff for almost an hour before he showed up... he had problems with a rental car , he texted me a couple times giving me updates and when he showed up he apologized and got to work immediately sizing up my tattoo and gave me a discounted estimate because I had to wait so long. That’s what I call owning up to it!! He went to work on my tattoo and was incredibly accurate and I could not have been more pleased with his professionalism and artistry! :) I can’t wait to come back for another in the future. My daughter who is 15 got her nose pierced there back in December for her Christmas present. She loves it so much! The people that work there are so friendly, and helpful and we're so informative on how to take care of the piercing. Have known and worked with and for Jeff for many years. The procedures that were learned by me there in 2000 are still sterile practices today. Anyone who has worked there can go back and see the same sterile practices used when they were and can tell what is sterile and when it was sterilized and by who. Great place.Service: Tattoos

If I could put 0 stars I would. I went into there in February to get my noise pierced. The first time it stayed in for almost 2 weeks and came out. That same day I went there to get it put back in the lady told me she had to re-pierce it. She was extremely rough. Now today I go there because the diamond came out of the piercing. The same lady who did it the second time takes the old piercing out and then she states she’s going to have to pierce it again. How did it close in the matter of 2 seconds if that. I am convinced that the lady had no clue as to what she was doing. It was a waste of money. I immediately got irritated. I would not recommend this place to a dog.

I got a navel piercing and it was placed above the navel. On top of that a lot of skin was taken and used while the bar length was too short. The piercing will not properly heal and is constantly hurting me due to the placement. It’s been two months now. I called time and time again to get some help and was told to text a picture to a piercer and got ignored again. I definitely don’t recommend this shop to get piercings. I’ve had many before and never once had them so improperly placed.
