This is a great place to bring your business-very personable staff, and good merchandise. Shop local, and these dollar generals are where it's all at, nowadays, especially in little hometowns such as Athens. Great job guys and gals. Y'all should get a raise atop a raise, for your absolutely great customer service!

I have one closer to my house but I drive to this particular location because they have excellent customer service and the store is so clean. The manager and the staff really are fantastic and have always been super helpful especially when I coupon. The wonderful customer service is why I always recommend this particular location.

Cluttered with blocked isles as usual. On a brighter note, the employees are becoming more helpful by moving their restock items out of your way. So, 👍.

well the only thing is if the register doesn't recognize the online coupon you don't get refunded the difference. store clerk said there is not anything they can do about problem. so that means bogo isn't bogo. I didn't need 2 of the items purchased at full price but since it was supposed to be bogo who would pass it up. i am considering not patronizing DG ever again because of this and the "why should I care attitude" of the store employee. basically you get the coupon credit if they (DG) want you to have it.

3 people behind the counter doing stuff. I was the only person in line and nobody seemed to care that a customer was standing there. I stood there for about 5 minutes waiting and they never acknowledged me.

Lying to your customers is never a good practice. Short staffed and closing during peak business hours but telling customers you're registers are down.

Cashier took time to look for what i needed and also took the product back to the cash register for me she was very pleasant. I didnt catch her name but she works at the new dollar store on 72 in clements
