When did Dollar General start leaving the store completely empty of employees with customers inside and allow both employees to smoke out front of the store. After waiting 5 minutes in the front of the store to checkout I left to find both the manager and a employee smoking something together out front of the store, I asked them if they worked here and they rudely replied " why wouldn't I work here" Ridiculous .. Rude.. Unprofessional ... I will be asking the DM about this so thanks for your service.

This is my “home” DG, about 7 minutes from my house. I’m here 5-7 times a week. By far my favorite location, it’s a smaller store but they do well keeping it orderly while placing a ton of freight.Employees and management are great, never had any interaction that wasn’t pleasant, amongst hundreds.Parking is great, it’s in the Piggly Wiggly strip mall.Love the self checkout. Produce is also nice, although being next to a grocery store I wonder how profitable it can be for them.

I had to update my last review. It's been over a year since I had come in. This store had some issues with service. But the new manager has really turned things around. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Checkout was quick this time around. Store has also added fresh vegetables and fruit. Not everything but some of the more popular produce is there. These days seems everything is going down. Was really refreshing to see something go from negative to positive.

Love the associates at this store, always super friendly & personable, as well as hard-working & professional! The company is having the same difficulties keeping the shelves stocked as every other retailer, but that's more a sign of the times than anything.

Wonderful employees and always happy to help. I never see or hear any complaining. Store is well stocked and maintained. Employees are always happy to help any customer but especially the elderly. Prices are reasonable and not out of the norm. I will always check this store before going to the grocery store next to it for what I need.

I've always liked my local Dollar General but it has definitely gone downhill! It's always so hot in the store! It's very very crowded with merchandise laying everywhere! You can't get down the aisles without having to move carts of freight or just freight out of the floor to get through!! It's not clean at all!Also, don't use the self-checkout bc the manager, Summer, will talk about you to the other associates (saying you are not scanning everything) and treat you as if you were stealing something! When the lines are wrapped around the corner and down the aisles they will not open the other registers to help out! They don't care that you have to wait!The way it is right now I'd rather go down the road to Family Dollar/Dollar Tree instead of going in there!J.M.O. they need new management! Summer ( the mngr) now just ain't cutting it!

You never know how a trip to this location will go. Most of the time the store is in a state of chaos and it is obvious. Management and good employees are not this locations strong suite. This town will take anything it can get, there just ain't much here and the bar has been set extremely low. Roll Tide I reckon.

Fast, easy trip. When we don't feel like driving to Wal Mart we stop in here. They have lots of nice seasonal decor at cheap prices. Makes it easier to change with the seasons and not spend a fortune.

I really like this Dollar General store. It is one of the least cluttered, cleanest Dollar General'sI have been to in a long time. The employees are very nice and friendly, the shelves are clean and well stocked, and they have some really great sales.

They're still out of a lot of items. I waited in line for a long time and it was very hot inside the store. I wish management would do something about these issues because it's a new store and very convenient for other items.

There is one particular guy cashier that is very helpful and polite. Love going in there when he is there. If you see a guy with a ponytail, your experience will be great!!

In the professional opinion of retail stores that offer next to almost everything someone might need in everyday life, Dollar General is my professional and personal recommendation as opposed to Walmart which I do not recommend at all. DG is the next advance in the world and I believe will beat the Walmart corporate persona one day.

It's hit or miss. I've had some of the best and some of the worst shopping experiences in this location. Here lately, (written 3/6/2022) it has been MUCH better.

The store manager and all employees I have seen working at this location actually work at work unlike some other locations. They are very polite and helpful also.

It's convenient to where I live. Most of the time I'm in and out with no problem. The staff is nice and friendly. They usually have some good deals.

They have two registers but only one is ever open if you go to the store expect to wait in line and there was so Mini articles in the Isles there were several you could not get through I only go there if absolutely necessary I recommend the same to you

Maybe it was bc they are going into renovation but that place looks like a tornado went through it. Everything is hard to find, Trash on the floor, it just looks awful but hopefully this renovation does the trick
