Was just there and the store is in terrible condition and the cyst service was worse. I walked up to the cashier and she saw me. Then she saw someone in the store she knows and decided I can wait. She walks away not even acknowledging me. I assumed she was going for a hug and then right back. No. She left me standing there for a good 10 minutes maybe more before I just left. Never again if I can help it.

This place is a legit NIGHTMARE..... they literally have more stock on rolling shelves than the actual store shelves....I feel so sorry for the workers-I couldn't imagine working under those conditions. Maybe it would benefit the store, the morale of the employees and convenience to the customers if you guys were to shut down a couple days and do a "Dollar Store Rescue"..... maybe make it a mandatory all employees on deck revamp.....Just Sayin

This particular store as well as the Dollar General at Morgan City has a wonderful staff. They are always ready to help locate a particular item, or do a price check when you ask. They have always gone above and beyond to help with any issues that I might have. They seem to be very positive in any situation as compared to negative people who don't have a clue why their lives are so miserable. Everyone knows the law of attraction, the employees at these 2 stores practice it!! Fantastic work guys, see you soon!!

This is one of the better dollar general stores. I have been to some that are quite trashy with merchandise on the floors. Basically, customets dropping stuff and no one picking it up. This one is well maintained and a pleasure to visit. Park right outside, run it, and fast check out.

The store is typically ok, But if you wanna coupon I suggest you go else where, they do not know or understand the underwriting on the coupons. The last time we tried the cashier was extremely rude to my wife, and the manager was even standing there beside her and could care less. We will no longer do business with this location.

The check out lines are always incredibly long here, I don't think it is from slow service though, it is just from many people picking up a few things on their way back home.

I should have rated this 2 stars. I would have given it 3 stars even if I couldn't point out flaws, like even if the cashier didn't do things wrong like the one who waited on me here did. I've never been to a Dollar General I actualy liked, I've rarely had anything but an unremarkable and mediocre shopping experieence. That being said, this one was barely acceptable. The cashier didn't know how to speak to a customer, I didn't get any proof she Knew even the first thing about customer service. This is something I notice a lot in the Dollar Genreal stores.

We had a lot of items to pay for this time. We had incorporated items at the Dollar General into our weekly grocery list. After we arrived at the Dollar General, we found items that were on our grocery list, so we were scratching off things on the list and adding things into the buggy. They have spices and flavorings, such as Real chopped chives, and dried, preserved, in a spice bottle, cinnamon STICKS!Yes, I'm HAPPY to say "I love MY DOLLAR GENERAL STORE! 💙

This Dollar General I only give 3 stars because I'm in and out few times a week . would be daily but they have the habit of not restocking due to lack of staff. How ever what they lack in availability they make up for in discounts .

My husband had a bad experience he was getting the Dr peppers that was 3 for $3 u only had 4 I wanted 6 but she charged him full price for the 4th one & no rain check & was rude
